I volunteered to place a review on Angie's List simply because we could not have been more pleased with the work of Dustbusters. The technician who came to our house was lovely and worked extremely efficiently and the owner, Joe Escalante, is exactly the type of business owner that makes doing business with one's company a pleasure. He's personable, friendly, attentive and accommodating and ensure his company's work is done to the utmost satisfaction of his customers. Thus, it's a pleasure to place the shining review of Dustbusters and do our part is supporting his business!

I had never had the ducts cleaned and was apprehensive about the process. Joe (the owner) was very patient and described to me in detail exactly what would happen. On the day of the appointment the technician (Lester) arrived right on time and got to work. Lester was meticulous and very respectful of my home and of my 17 year old dog. He explained everything and went from room to room working quietly. He took a photo of my ducts before and after and wow what a difference. I regret not asking for a copy of the photo just as a reminder as to 'why' it's important to have the duct system cleaned. I have recommended Dustbusters to neighbors and to my sister!

Joe, the owner of Dustbusters, was easy to communicate with and very responsive to our condo association's needs. Lester did the actual work. He arrived on time and did an amazing job under very difficult conditions. Accessing the ductwork in our condo units is anytihng but easy, but Lester had a "no problem" attitude. He did an extremely thorough job and left us all feeling much safer knowing we were no longer living with a fire hazard. We will be using the services of Dustbusters on a regular basis.

The contractor (Lester) arrived on time and introduced himself to us. He was very professional, respectful of our home. He explained the entire process and gave us an upfront price in writing. He was very thorough. He placed runners everywhere he was bringing in the equipment and was very careful not to cause any damage to our home. When it was close to lunch time, he asked if I minded him ordering food to be delivered to the house before doing so. He ate in his truck even though I told him he could eat in the kitchen. He showed me the amount of dirt that he collected from our ductwork (embarrassing amount). When he was done, he showed my husband where he made holes (& reseal) in the ducts to properly clean them. He was a really great contractor to work with.

Joe was very helpful when I called to set up the appointment; he walked me through the process, explained the pricing ($299 for the first 5 vents and $20/vent afterward), and answered all of my questions. His earliest appointment was a month away, but I expected that. On the day scheduled, Stanley arrived promptly at 8:45 as promised and worked all day on the ducts, which were full of dust and pet fur. He was pleasant, professional, and as unobtrusive as possible. It turned out that he had to cut holes in the ducts, but he sealed them up expertly. He protected my floors and cleaned everything up afterward. I would recommend this company to anyone with allergies -- you cannot believe what came out of those ducts.

Though Joe's bid was in the ballpark to perform duct and dryer cleaning, the condo association went with a different company for reasons I didn't hear about. It's possible they had a reference for the company they chose from residents in another building in our development. Joe was great in any case, and I may use him myself in the future.

Joe took the time on the phone to talk me through something I knew little to nothing about. In 30 years of owning homes I had never had my ducts cleaned - but I did live in new or newer houses. But he was so sweet and squeezed me in because my washer and dryer were being delivered and I wanted the dryer to work. But January is a very busy month for them. He came with an assistant he was training and he was such a pleasure to talk with and also a good teacher of his assistant. I am now thinking of having all my ducts cleaned with him later this summer. Joe is honest and did a very very good job! Would use him again in a minute!

After a lot of research we decided to get the heating ducts cleaned in an old house with forced hot air heat. We looked into several companies, some of which were less expensive, and decided on Dustbusters because of the thoroughness of their method and the professionalism of the company. We waited several months until they had an opening in the schedule. On the day of the service the technician was very ill and had to reschedule. While it was inconvenient, it was flu season, and he offered to come and do the job the following Saturday (normally his day off) which worked fine. Happily we were able to keep our cats at someone else's house which I highly suggest because it is a noisy and long job. Lester was great! He came exactly on time. Explained everything he would be doing. He even brought a space heater for me to use since it was a cold day and the heat was off for 6 hours. He was very careful and respectful of my space, he did a fabulous job, he was a nice person who I was comfortable being alone in the house with and he was very informative showing me what was happening and what he collected from the system (a lot of debris). I highly recommend Dustbusters and Lester.

I joined Angies List to find a duct cleaning company. After hiring two other companies who showed up with shop vacs I truly needed a great company who would in fact do the job to industry standards. The other two companies were asked to leave upon arrival. I knew better. My initial email through Angies List was responded to via a phone call from Joe. He was very nice. The appointment was scheduled for Saturday the 4th of October. Lester arrived and he was very nice to deal with. He asked for a tour, located all of the vents and looked at my system. He brought in all of his equipment, protected my floors and answered all of my questions. He allowed me to wash all of the vents while they were off before he replaced them. He did a great job, was very nice and considerate. A true professional. Lester even took the dust/debris off of the screws of the vents before replacing them. Amazing the level of care he takes in his work. A true service professional who should be considered a role model for all service professions. Joe - don't let this guy get away! I will be sharing the name of this company with neighbors, friends and coworkers.

We contacted Dustbusters about 2 weeks prior to schedule some cleaning, We had just recently purchased our first home and we were not sure if the previous homeowner had ever had it done . I spoke to Mr. Escalante on the phone who went over what was involved and the price and scheduled them to come out. Lester showed up right when Mr. Escalante said he would between 8 and 845 am . He promptly went over what he was going to do and offered to clean out my dryer hose (we declined as it was new). He explained everything he had to do and made sure I was satisfied with the work described before proceeding. He was very considerate to be aware of my pets too. made sure I knew he had to have the door propped so I might want to close my cat away so she didn't get out. Lester went straight to work and even came and got me to show a small hole in my foundation. . After he was finished he went over everything again made sure I was satisfied. Very professional and efficient. would definitely use them again !!!!

They are cleaning out all of my duct work because I am having a new Heating/A.C unit in my home. They showed up on time and have been very nice, professional, and prompt.

Joe called the night before to confirm the time of arrival and the services to perform. Lester arrived on time and spent 7 hours diligently working until the job was complete. He was extremely professional and courteous. Lester was polite and considerate of our household. He kept all areas neat and clear while he worked. We noticed an immediate improvement in the quality of the air in the house. We both have sinus problems that seem to have gotten much better since the cleaning. We will definitely have them back to clean our baseboard hot water registers. We highly recommend Dustbusters.

Arrived on time and worked 10 hrs to complete the job. Lester was professional, explained everthing up front and walked me through all the completed work at finish.I was impressed with the quality of work and would use in the future. I had previously called another company to perform the work however they did not show up or call. I then called Dustbusters and Im glad I did because I dont believe the other company would have matched the work or even close. Call these folks you wont be sorry!

Lester showed up on time. He placed the covers on his boots to not get the floor dirty. He also put mats down in the basement to keep the carpets clean. Job was done quick. Installed a flexible yet more solid dryer duct then what was previously installed. Showed me the holes the mice put in the dryer duct. Hope the critters stay away. I was happy with the service provided.

I called near the end of the day on Friday. Owner Joe Escalante detailed what his company could provide in response to my need for duct and dryer vent cleaning and let me know about other services they could provide (e.g., refrigerator coil cleaning). He was friendly and professional, providing me with a cost estimate that turned out to be quite accurate. I was able to make an appointment for Monday. Lester arrived promptly for the appointment. He worked constantly for six hours. He was personable and happy to answer questions and explain what he was doing. He pointed out where (and explained why) lint accumulated in the dryer vent. He found some construction debris in the furnace ductwork. In addition to the cleaning, he examined the furnace and provided a verbal assessment, noting that the humidifier was not working correctly (the furnace installer will need to deal with this). This service was a positive experience. I was very pleased with the service and would highly recommend this company.

Lester arrived on time and proceeded to clean all the air ducts in the heating system. He answered all our questions and explained what he was doing and gave us some very good tips to make the system more efficient. The house is over 50 years old and there is no record that they had ever been cleaned. He is a pleasant person and very professional. We would certainly use this service again as it becomes necessary. Note: The house that was cleaned was my son's, but I'm the one who found Dustbusters on Angie's list. We are all very pleased.

Dust Busters personnel were consistently considerate and professional from the initial conversation through the actual delivery of service. Joe described their process and fees and was unphased by the fact that our very old house had a somewhat unorthodox arrangement of ducts. We understand that unexpected snow might force us to reschedule because it would make travel to our house difficult. A serious storm was forecast the day the work was scheduled but Joe just asked if it would be alright for the serviceman to arrive early in the day to beat the storm. That was acceptable. Dave, the assigned technician, called the night before to confirm arrangements and was at our door exactly on-time and got right to work. Dave reviewed the process, answered questions and then began the work. He obviously knew what he was doing and worked efficiently and cheerfully. He left the premises in excellent order. I recommend the company without reservations.

Lester the duct cleaner was amazing. He was very thorough and made sure the job was done correctly and complete. Very knowledgable and answered all of my questions. He showed me before and after cleaning of the duct work. He spends his time like a TRUE company should (6 to 7 hours) compared to another company spending half that to clean your ducts so they can do two houses in one day. I will definitely have Dustbusters do my ducts again when needed. There technique for cleaning is the one and only best around! Thank you so much Dustbusters! Highly referable!!!!!!

Dustbusters Duct Cleaning was hired to clean out all the duct work in the house. It's a new house to me, and I wanted to clean it out and start out fresh, knowing where things stood. Dustbusters arrived on time. Two guys arrived, but only one stayed to do the job. He was very thorough and showed me all his techniques and reasoning. He even gave me tips about winterizing my system (and even avoiding mice in the ac unit). He cleaned out all the registers (and explained how my system worked). He cleaned out ductwork near the registers, too. Then, he when to the basement, to do the bulk of the work. He drilled little holes in the ductwork (which he later plugged and/or covered) to get his equipment inside. He explained how his methods were superior to those of cheaper cleaners. In all, Dustbusters was at the house for about five or six hours. I'm not sure I really needed the work done just yet (I saw what came out of the ductwork, and it wasn't *that* much dirt), but Dustbusters did do an excellent job cleaning. I would recommend them if there's cleaning to do ? they're method and tools are excellent ? but I would caution homeowners they might not need the work done. I'm still unsure, but I am happy to have a fresh start with the duct work.

Was prompt, they performed everything with the utmost of skill and professional courtesy. I was extremely happy with the work and would highly recommend them to anyone. Excellent from start to finish and worth the price.

It was great to see that the first thing the service person did was to cover his shoes so he wouldn't track dirt into the house. He was very professional and explained all my options and answered all my questions. The service was completed the SAME day I called and within the time frame he gave me. I will definitely use them again. I wish they were closer, the only downside is the $25 travel fee to come to Easthampton from Longmeadow.
