Everything went great. Jason was professional and explained everything.

We called John in a panic on Sunday night, because our sump pumps were all backed up due to huge amounts of rain and snow thaw. He came out late in the evening and was as nice as could be. He rinsed out the sump pumps, and they worked better. He looked around for quite a bit, and helped us to see that the problem was not actually in the sump pumps, but that soil had been washed away from our bulkhead by groundwater, and that's where the water was flowing from. Because he didn't need to change out the pump, he only charged us $20. to come out, even though it was late at night on a weekend. That was very decent of him, we thought. He helped to calm our panic and direct us towards who to call to fix the actual problem. I would definitely call him again for problems with our sump pump, drain cleaning, or repairs.

I got them from Angie's List. It was great! They were punctual, they were here exactly when they said they were going to be here, they were polite, and professional. I would definitely recommend them to anybody. They are fabulous! They are great guys. I will absolutely use them again.

I called John in a blind panic when water began mysteriously appearing in pools on my basement floor, which I eventually traced to the overflow behind the washer. He offered to come the same day, but we made an appointment for first thing the next morning, as the situation was not yet dire. At 8:55AM the next morning, the tide turned to disaster, and all I could do was watch in horror as the overflow began gushing sewer water all over my washing machine and basement floor, which is mercifully unfinished. It took them very little time by process of elimination to isolate the root cause, and they were very good about showing me exactly what had happened, including the clog itself. They cleaned up and offered me additional advice on what to do to get the basement un-grossified. They were polite, quick, and very professional. I would call them again in a heartbeat, or recommend their services to anyone.

I found this company on Angie's and my experience was the same as everything positive in the reviews that I read. John and Jason are great! They were responsive, professional, considerate, neat and thorough, and very nice guys. I would highly recommend that you call them first when you have a problem. I highly recommend Advanced Sewer and Drain Inc and will call them again.

I noticed the problem in the am. We were having guests over that evening, without a kitchen sink or dishwasher that was gonna be a problem. Called with a drain back up on a secondary drain. They came within 2 hours, quickly assessed the problem and went to work. First with the snake then with the cutter blade. They finished in an hour and put things back as they were. What else could anyone ask for?

They were good. They came out the same day that we called them. They were really quick. We don't really reverse phones. So, we don't really know how much plumbing usually cost. So, I couldn't say if it was unreasonable, appropriate or not.

These guys are GREAT. We have called them on multiple occasions and we always get the same fantastic responsiveness and reliability. In this case our outdoor faucet was leaking and even though it was just a drip, there was a significant amount of water loss and we knew we had to call. They always return our calls right away. They arranged to fix the problem the following day which was fine because it wasn't an emergency. The following day they showed up and with no nonsense - cut the existing pipe, welded a new pipe and faucet to the outside. Done. Don't bother calling anyone else. We don't.

John and Jason cleaned a sewage main and performed camera inspection to a drop 80 feet out. There was heavy root infiltration starting at 35 feet out (and repeating about every three feet) which required cutting and pushing extensively for a total of nearly three hours. The main had been giving me trouble for roughly a year and a half. I'd had another drain specialist (recommended by a neighbor who ought to have known better and whom I've lost trust in) open it twice quickly with a power auger (but no camera per that specialist's recommendation that it was unnecessary). I'd also been following a treatment protocol recommended by the other company plus supplementing that with additional treatments and a hand auger by myself twice. In the absence of any previous camera work, when I found the main obstructed yet again, I was terrified it might be a more serious problem than roots. This time I first called a competitor found via the Yellow Pages, but I wasn't satisfied with the estimate or the attitude . Then I remembered to check Angie's List and found Advanced Sewer & Drain. I'm so glad I did! John was very helpful and patient with all my questions by phone. He and Jason arrived on time, worked hard and quickly but thoroughly, and couldn't have been more pleasant and kind. They explained each step, and being able to see everything for myself via the camera feed put my anxieties to rest. They also confirmed what I'd suspected anyway, that the treatment protocol previously recommended to me can't be effective because it doesn't remain in contact with the roots long enough (so using it in a sewage system is basically dumping a toxin into the environment without actually gaining anything). It can be worrying to contract for work by the hour, but in this case it proved excellent work for a fair price. When compared with throwing money away on ineffective work that still left me anxious about what was going on with my property, this experience was a bargain. And even knowing I'd be using an Angie's List coupon, they rounded down their time by a little. Best of all, in my case it turned out the roots were the only issue, and they've finally now been properly addressed with a complete removal (and not just a "punch-through" as the other specialist had been doing). I really can't thank the guys at Advanced enough and only wish I'd found them sooner. I recommend them most strongly and unreservedly.

Had a clogged drain pipe in my basement. Tried Mr Rooter first. They used there camera to scope the drain and were unable to get past the first set of roots. Noticed there was some minor cracking in the pipe so Mr Rooter told me that they would have to dig up my front yard so they could repair the pipe and then scope the rest of the drain? That would have ended up costing me up to $3000+. Decided to get a second opinion so I found Advanced Sewer and Drain on Angies and was very pleased.They were very nice and explained everything they were doing. They had no problems getting by that first set of roots, and were able to get to the main city line. Then cleared out all the roots and told me the crack was minor and I need not to worry. I loved there honesty and professionalism would use them again.

We were very relieved to have our plumbing problem dispatched so handily. I was concerned about paying an "emergency" rate since the team showed up literally 15 minutes after we contacted them. However, they assured us that they have not "emergency" charge, just a day versus off-hours charge. They did go out to get a rather common part "on the clock" but they returned within a reasonable amount of time. I suppose if you're more savvy homeowners than we are you could ask if they have the part they need and get it before they show up. I would definitely call this outfit again - and probably will soon since one of the toilets has been running! (I should have learned a trade!)

We had water backing up in the basement and weren't sure what the problem was. The two guys with the company came in, were very pleasant and professional and explained what they were doing. The main sewer line was found to be clogged with roots. They were able to get through the roots out to the main street. They gave us a video of what was found and made suggestions that the city may be somewhat responsible for our problem as some of the roots seemed to be in the city line. They also did a great job cleaning up. The price they charged was fair for what they performed; they were there for several hours. We feel that they did a great job and we would use them again if needed.

Contacted them about a backed up sewer line and told them how we had called Allied Drain Cleaning to come out and how they hadn't cleared up the problem. Allied had come about a month previous. Advanced came two days later on the day and time we requested they did run a little late but they called to make sure that was okay. They arrived promptly and in the amount of time they said they would be late. They quickly got to work and worked efficiently and very thoroughly. They got all of the debris that Allied left behind which was tons of roots. The line had according to Advanced Sewer at least 10+ years of root growth. They also had me view the camera to make sure the pipes were clean and that I was happy. I have found my new plumber and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them or use them again.

We've had a root problem in our main pipe to the city since we bought our home in 2009. The last plumber we had called (Drain King Royal Flush) for the problem came back 5 times in a 3 month period for the same issue. We thought he had finally cleared it. But to our surprise this past Sunday our basement was flooded again. We called Advanced Sewer & Drain hoping to get the problem fixed this time. They arrived within an hour of our call, on a Sunday, they were friendly, professional and efficient. They even explained what they were doing as it was taking place. I won't be using any other plumbers again. :) Advanced Sewer & Drain did a better, more efficient job than our last plumber, and charged us less.
