Did not choose them

We searched every tile store from Danvers MA to Nashua NH looking at samples, bringing them home, etc. We couldn't find anything we loved. We live in Lowell and decided to try this place we've driven by a million times. They had the biggest selection of anywhere we went. The owners/staff were extremely knowlegable and gave us real one-on-one help making a decision. They also offered to get anything for us that we might have found somewhere else and liked. We found the perfect tile and they had subcontractors come out to install. The install was a little disappointing. They came on time and got the job done quickly (two guys). But after we left we felt many many of the tiles were crooked and the grout wasn't evenly distributed. We called the shop owners before closing and they said no problem, they would make it right. The installers came back the next day and fixed it to our satisfaction. So, it was a little frustrating, but in the end we were/are very happy. Also, if you enjoy supporting a local business and not spending all your money at a big box like Home Depot...these guys are the real thing. We've referred other friends to them for carpeting and they were delighted with their experience.

I had a 2 week window to get this flooring done with Labor Day weekend in the middle. It was accomplished on time. I visited the store on Monday evening. They have an overwhelming number of choices, but I felt they steered me to an appropriate selection to meet my preferences, budget and value parameters, and time frame for ordering and installation. They came to measure on Tuesday afternoon, and had the material ordered on Wednesday. The material came in a week later (good, considering the long Labor Day weekend). The laminate flooring was installed one day and the carpet the next. The house was vacant at the time of install, and I did not personally witness the install, but the work was done well and neatly. The project price was higher than I expected going in, but this job did not have any economy of scale, so I felt it was fair. I prefer to support local businesses over the big box stores for these type of jobs. They did give an accurate estimate and no extras when the job was performed.

I was moving into a new place so I had a tight deadline. I worked with Lance, who kept me informed about a sale they had going, and made sure that I could get the sale price even though I purchased, just as prices were going up (due to factory surcharges on oil price increases). Lance also doggedly tracked the carpet shipment from it's source and made sure we could get it all done since we had a very tight schedule moving in. On the last possible day, as promised, two installers showed up and immediately got to work. They were courteous, professional and did an amazing job. Everything was cleaned up and vacuumed and I was extremely impressed. I even went back to the store to tell them what an amazing and amazingly fast job the installers did. I should also mention that the guy that they sent a couple of weeks earlier to measure, was very knowledgeable about carpet and showed me all his calculations and how he was able to minimize a lot of waste by installing one room a certain way. Every detail was carefully explained to me. I paid 1/2 up front and wrote a check for the rest at the end of the install.
