They went above and beyond in quality and workmanship throughout my house, always looking for the right solution, not the highest-profit solution. They were very easy to work with, both in the office and on site. The guys on-site were always on time and very professional, taking steps to make sure they kept their work clean and safe. I have recommended Leonard to many friends and family, and I will continue to use them whenever I need a smart, caring, professional electrician.
Description of Work: Leonard Electric did all the electrical work in my new-construction home in 2013, as well as several items since then.

+ -1 moreLeonard Electric was great. All the electricians and apprentices were professional, yet personable. Clint arranged all the work for us and actually did some of it himself. They were punctual and had all the materials that they needed the day of the work (one of the other electicians we used left no less than 3 times the day he was there to go get a tool or supply he didn't have with him). I'm related to an electrician, and when he last visited my home, he was impressed with the work. He said that it was neatly done and up to spec, and in most cases, ithe materials used were a step higher than what's standard. The inspector also declared it "perfect" when he came in to check out the work. I would definitely use this company again and have recommended them several times over. The only drawback is that because they were so good, there is a wait on non-emergency work. I knew by the time we were booking the second set of work that I needed to call a few weeks in advance to get them set up.... but getting the work done right is definitely worth the wait, in my opinion.
Description of Work: Leonard Electric saved my sanity. Starting a few years ago, we began having random power surges throughout our house. We had the electric company in, they did some work, and it was resolved for a while... then began happening again. We called an eletrician, he came in, thought he fixed it, and a while later, it would happen again... and so on. I think we were in 4 or 5 visits by the power company and several visits from 2 electricians over the space of more than a year by the time that I got in touch with Clint at Leonard Electric. Clint came out on very short notice and figured out that what the others were "fixing" were really just symptoms of the real issue: the service was wicking water into the meter box. He got us back up and running within the day and came back later to finish the job right. I was so impressed with his work that we had his company come back for two more instances: once to replace the full service, the panel, and all the basement wiring; and a second time to hardwire the fire/CO alarms, run extra circuits to our second floor, install a fixture in our bedroom, an exterior outlet on our deck, and put a GFCI, new fixture, and fan in our main bathroom. I believe they ended up being in our house for maybe 6 days total.
