Hugo Soares put in a front walkway and front step. That looks great. It seemed as though it would be good for them to put a walkway in the back and pavers for a patio area. That may look even better. Also, five retaining walls were built. Again, the work is top quality. The laborers were friendly, skilled, and took the time to do the job right and pay attention to detail. The prices were reasonable and provided an excellent value. The company provided guidance and advice before starting any project.

They did a wonderful Job, They were punctual, hard working, professional and very nice. My daughter even made them cookies when they left. The Mason, Valci did an excellent job and we took all his suggestions, and thankful for it. We are having them come back to finish off some other work.

This team was a really great team to work with. It's important when hiring someone for a project that they not only do a good job, but are reliable and communicative. The HM Soares team was all of that. Wayne came out to quote our job very quickly and turned around a quote quickly also. Within a week of accepting the quote, construction began and the team was at our house almost every day for 2 weeks. They were professional, extremely hard working, reliable and did a really amazing job on our yard. We are already discussing our next project with them and will definitely continue to work with them in the future.

We could not have been happier with our experience with HM Soares, and in particular Wayne. We had a tricky project: we have a large yard, but it has a long slope and was broken up with a side and backyard. We wanted a patio that we could comfortably sit and grill on, but also a playspace for kids that was flat. Wayne came to our home several times to ask what we wanted and came up with different, thoughtful ideas. He was very creative and went back-and-forth with us, really listening To what we wanted He also sent us YouTube-created videos that showed what the space would look like with his plans. He was extremely attentive to detail, really a perfectionist. Once we decided to go ahead with the plans, we asked Wayne for an accelerated timeline, and he was able to move things around to deliver. He and his team built an amazing patio and very large stone wall that looks beautiful. The team worked long, hot summer days to get the job done. They were extremely courteous and clean and interacted well with our son, who was endlessly fascinated with what they were doing. Wayne was tremendous throughout the process – he was extremely communicative and came on site to check on the team’s work on a daily basis. We really could not be happier with the service and the outcome. Our neighbors were all so impressed by the work and admired the final product. We could not endorse anyone more enthusiastically!

We had 3 old rock walls and a front walk in need of repair. Wayne promptly came out to give us an estimate and suggested adding some steps to the walk to make it less steep. We were hesitant at first since this was different than other estimates we received, but Wayne came out a second time to show me and my wife in detail exactly what he was proposing, some alternatives, and why the addition of the steps was important. Before we even decided to move forward with the estimate, he put a significant amount of effort into sourcing stone that would closely match the other masonry work in our yard. We have had a lot of work done on our home, and I've never met a contractor with such attention to detail and dedication to making customers happy. Wayne texted or called us daily throughout the project to make sure we were happy with how it was coming along, was usually on-site in the morning and/or evening, quickly addressed any concerns we had, and was very transparent about pricing as we requested changes. Wayne and his crew did an amazing job. We could not be happier with the final product and we would not hesitate to use HM Soares again in the future.

A++ Excellent service and crew. HM Soares are true professionals at their trade. They go above and beyond the scope of work and always aim to please. I couldn't ask for a better interaction with the entire crew. They did several thousand square feet of custom cut bluestone, metal edging, Underground Drywell, Grading , and planted over $200k in specimen trees with 100% success. Our hardscape and landscape looks fabulous. I couldn't image anyone else doing what they did. I highly recommend them to friends and family as they take pride in their work. If your not 110% satisfied they tweak it until you are. It's great to see true craftsman and dedication to quality and customer service still exist. We will have more work this spring and are looking forward to having them back.
