He did not want my business unless I would pay full price. That's his prerogative, however, the business model of Angie's List is to provide reputable contractors with a volume discount. I was not asking for anything unusual or a deeper discount other than what was quoted by Angie's List. My house is 4800 square feet. The $299.00 deal was based on 2500 square feet. The contractor said that having 4 zones would be $299.00 for each zone. Zones were not mentioned in the add. Four times the quote for a home that is less than double the deal's square footage is a very, very poor business practice. I am very disappointed with this experience. I called Angie's List for a refund and they could not help me either. I will not be renewing my membership.

I would like to give full credit for Keith and his group for professionalism. There was a scheduling mixup, due to early winter hard freeze that made work impossible. They took full responsibility for this and refunded my fee, which was above and beyond. Great to work with.

Great. Randy was professional, polite, hard-working, focused, and cleaned up after himself (there is a lot of clean-up). The cost listed was a special offer through Angie's List.

The technician who did the cleaning was great. Showed up on time, was efficient and careful. he showed me what he was going to do and continued to check in with me as the worked progressed. His explanations were helpful since my place had not been cleaned since it was built in 1985 so the ducts were quite dirty. It was also very helpful that he took before and after pictures of the main ducts to indicate clearly what was the problem and the solution. he also was able to explain what parts of my system had and did not have which I was not aware of. very courteous worker who was careful about keeping my house clean while he worked and cleaning up afterwards. with the Angie list coupon that I used this was a terrific barngin and I was glad to have chosen this company. the company contacted me beforehand to make arrangements and was open to arranging a day and time that was convenient for me.

I got my air ducts cleaned in my new house. I had no idea when they were last cleaned. It was my fault I didn't have my number in my Angie's list profile so they couldn't call me to schedule the appointment. My wife called them instead and the woman who answered didn't seem to know what was going on and we never got a call back. We had to call twice, she said someone would call us, nothing happened. Then I responded to the initial email and someone called me back right away to schedule the appointment. Their front desk could use some help. The man who came to my house was very nice, very friendly, very professional. He even wore coverings on his boots to not get my floors dirty. He walked me through what he was going to do, how long it will take, and explained the whole process to me. My only complaint was he said he would show me before and after photos, but he never did for some reason. Duct Kings said it's not part of the deal so I can't fault them for that, but I wish the guy didn't tease me with it. The dust and dirt I could see aren't there any more, and he was there for a long time so I can only assume they were nice and clean. I would use them again.

Randy showed up right on time for our appointment. He was easy to talk to, and explained things in a way that even a novice could understand. He was very efficient and communicated every step through the process. I had to go out and get something to finish the project as I hadn't thought to buy a new air filter and I didn't have any hesitation about leaving him in my home alone. He actually took before and after photographs of the ducts, but he dropped his phone and the screen went black and stopped responding so he couldn't share those with me. I hope he didn't have to spend too much to get it fixed. Great guy, I'd recommend them to anyone.

The cleaning went well and the tech did a good job but I noticed a problem with the furnace a couple of days latter when the temperature dropped and the heat tried to come on. I called Duct Kings office and was told that someone would be out to look at the problem. I waited to 5 p.m. and then called a HVAC company seeing the temperature was 35 degrees and I'm a senior citizen. Well Duct Kings called the next day and told me the tech got held up and asked if everything was ok. Are you kidding me.

They did a great job, noticed a difference in air quality right away.

Air ducts were cleaned using industry standard tools. At the end of the work, the technician forgot to cover holes in the ducts in attic & basement. The management was notified and it was fixed two days later. I was promised photos of inside of ducts before & after but never received photos by email.

Terribly. I never had the work done. I called on Monday and was given an estimate over the phone. I told them I'd call back when I made a decision. I called the next day to tell them I decided to use them. I spoke with Peter who was unable to find any record of me calling. He then asked me the same questions and quoted me almost double for the same job. I told him they must be able to verify who I spoke to and the quote I was given. He said he would call me back and let me know what he could do. I never received a call back. Be weary of this company and the A reviews as this is no way to run a business.

Excellent. Technician was polite, prompt, and did a very thorough job. He physically showed me the amount of dust and debris that was trapped in my vents which was promptly cleaned out. This was money well spent considering my family suffers from asthma.

Duct Kings came out quickly and spent one day thoroughly cleaning the vents and scheduled the aero-seal for another day. During the process they noticed an issue with their software and rather than ignoring it and continuing the work, they stopped and rescheduled to come back and finish when the equipment was working properly. They were thorough, respectful of my home (and my pets), and wonderful to work with. I highly recommend Duct Kings!!

I would recommend duct kings. Randy was the young man that came to do the job. he was on time, very nice & polite young man, shook my hand, explained everything he was doing , I am very glad I used Duct Kings will definitely use & recommend them.

Overall the service was performed to my satisfaction and in a professional manner. Their online scheduler seemed to have missed my request for an appointment, but after calling to schedule their response was quick.

I had just moved into a new home and saw a deal on Angie's List for air duct/dryer vent cleaning, which my home was in desperate need of. Within 24 hours of purchasing the deal Duct Kings contacted me directly to schedule the cleaning. They made the process incredibly straightforward. Our specialist came on June 6th and my husband showed him around before leaving for work. My mother then came over as the specialist was wrapping up and he was incredibly professional, providing her with details of what he did and recommendations for how to improve the efficiency of our home and care for our system. I then realized that my husband had not shown the specialist our dryer and therefore it did not get cleaned. I called Duct Kings the next day and they were incredibly responsive, willing to come out as soon as possible and not charge us for the inconvenience of coming back to our home (even though we were at fault). I delayed the visit a bit due to my own schedule, but the specialist was again incredibly informative and professional. I will certainly be sticking with Duct Kings!

Service provider arrived as expected and started working after the home walk through. Air duct cleaning was complete on first day. Two person team arrived on second day for air duct sealing. They sealed the duct exits and pressurized the system. When the particulates were introduced, they started to seal the leaks in the duct system. As expected, the particulates that escaped from the ducts triggered the fire alarms. The CMF leak measurement was reduced when finished. Air sealing job was started at 8:30 am and complete by 2:30 pm.

Two guys came to do a whole house duct cleaning. They collected and got rid of a lot of dirt as they showed me two barrels full. One of the guys identified an issue with our dryer vent and subsequently fixed it. After they left I found some long scratch marks left on my new wood floors, probably from moving furniture around. That was a big disappointment. They should really be more careful.

They did a great job. They were on time, did a really good job, cleaned up after themselves, and where in and out.

I never received the estimate later that day, so I sent a message to them via Angie's List the next day, they told me they'd have him get in touch when he got in to the office. I never heard back so that night I sent him an email, but never heard back. At the end of the next day I wrote to them on Angie's list again, and they never replied. I called them twice since then and both times were told they'd be in touch right away, and still nothing. If they didn't want to do the job, that's fine, but just say so, so we could have been finding someone else.

The two-day process began with duct cleaning by a very conscientious Randy who took pictures showing before and after. The Aeroseal process followed the next day with Randy and his supervisor. These two guys were great. We start out with 5 out of 5 stars! Aeroseal Process, developed by the D.O.E., seals ductwork gaps up to 5/8". There was little odor. The aerosol permeated our home with a thick fog. Soon every smoke alarm in the house was activated, but our team were surprisingly well-practiced in disarming detectors. Good thing I remembered to call our security alarm company. We opened windows and doors, thankful it was a mild midwinter day. The two 3'X3' active filtering units set up beforehand in our living space looked impressive but were of little help. The house needed cleaning afterward. We were not forewarned about any of this. Minus 1 star. All Aeroseal air duct certified technicians are qualified to run a program made by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) called ?Duct Investor?. Duct Investor takes a comprehensive list of variables and provides a homeowner with the best available estimate of what they should realize in cost savings. I asked specifically for this data on several occasions. I was told my request went to a different supervisor. I called back. No follow-up. Nothing. Minus one star. So, was it worth $1500.00? According to our heating fuel company, and BEFORE the Aeroseal Process, we had already managed to reduce our heating energy usage on our own by 17% when compared with other homes our size in our area. The Aeroseal Process increased that number by an additional 12%. Energy is cheaper right now and without any hard central A/C data, and if energy costs remain the same, we estimate it would take 6-7 years to save enough energy to have this service pay for itself.

It wasn't a horrible experience. They showed up about an hour late and left a mess but I'm sure that is just the nature of the work - dirty. Overall I have no issues, we paid a "deal rate" and you often get what you pay for.

Excellent service. The technicians put on slippers and layed down tarp to ensure that they did not mess up carpet. I would highly recommend this provider.
