Duct Kings

The technician, Steve, arrived on time and worked diligently for over six hours to clean all the vents. He explained what he was doing and the reason for each procedure. He was friendly, professional and communicated well. Everything was well cleaned, and there was no dirt or lint from the vents left behind in the house. He repositioned and taped part of the dryer vent so it works better than before, an extra that I really appreciated.

I canceled this service, never used them

One guy came at 8 am, I was surprised there was only one worker because we have 4 floors. He immediately called for extra help. they worked 11 hours straight, took a 15 min break, and kept working. They did a great job, and pointed out some minor things that needed to be fixed. I would highly recommend them, honest, hard workers, very pleasant. The workers were very knowledgeable about the duct systems.

After I purchased the service on Angie's I called up the company and got the appointment date. One day before, company called and reminded. On the day of the service, technician Steve arrived 5 minutes before the scheduled time. Steve explained the process, spent nearly 6.5 hours and cleaned all ducts to our satisfaction. He was very professional, thorough and friendly. He pointed out a few places where we might have some leakage from ducts, fixed those and showed us how to address them in future. Overall great value for money, great service, highly recommend them and definitely call them next time.

While it did take Duct Kings a few days to get in contact with me to schedule, once scheduled, everything went very smoothly. The technician was prompt and arrived on the dot at 8AM to begin working on my system. Now, I'm certainly not an expert on these things, but it appears to me as though a very thorough job was done with minimal disruption. The technician showed me where the system was going to be accessed -- in my case, the system had old patches where a previous cleaning had been performed. He was considerate of a skittish pet, and cleaned the returns in an order that I specified so that I could move the pet to rooms that could be closed. The amount of specialized equipment used was impressive; this wasn't something I could have duplicated as a 'do it yourself' kind of job. After the bulk of the work had been completed, a sales person from Duct Kings visited to tell me about their sealant services while the tech wrapped things up. It was not a hard sell, and the sales representative came across as very forthright about the benefits of the service being offered in terms of my home's heat system and the advantages I'd see should I choose to invest in it. I chose not to purchase anything additional at this time. He left some very informational brochures and statistics about my heating system behind. The technician was working for almost 4-5 hours solid, so I feel that the Angie's List deal I purchased was a good value - no hidden fees. Cleanup was perfect; I wouldn't have known that they had even been in the home if I hadn't been there to witness the duct cleaning in person.

Company never contacted me. I tried calling them multiple times and have never gotten a response to schedule the service.

They came and did what I needed them to do. They were straight forward, I have no complaints.

The young man spent the whole day cleaning the air ducts in an old home whose ducts have never been cleaned before.We were amazed and impressed with his diligence, thoroughness, and professionalism. He also gave us good advice as to how to better seal up the ductwork ourselves. I would not hesitate to call on this business for service in the future.

Duct King's representative, Steve arrived promptly and explained in detail the process and the benefits of having the ducts cleaned. Steve was extremely careful when bringing in his equipment, he put construction paper down on the floor so not to track in any debris. It was a rainy day and I just had the floor installed. He showed me where he would be cutting the holes in the duct work, then he explained that he needed to tape all floor registers so he could perform his air test and cleaning. When the test and cleaning was complete he showed me the debris he retrieved from the ducts and a computer printed test results. Steve cleaned up when finished and you wouldn't no anything was done as it looked like it did before he started. I would highly recommend Duct King's of Lowell and plan to use them the next time I need the ducts cleaned.

Scheduling the appointment was simple. The two guys arrived during the 30 minute window that was specified. They were both friendly and professional. They covered all the events in the house with adhesive backed plastic. Then cut into the vents in the basement to connect to the large vacuum. At the end they covered the holes with new sheet metal and screws, then taped the joints. While running the vacuum, they use hoses with compressed air to go into each vent and blow dirt back to the vacuum. They measured the air leakage in the system, as I requested, because I was considering their AreoSeal duct sealing, which I did have them do on a second visit. The only down side was that they estimated it would take 4 hours, but took about 7 hours total. I'm not complaining, since they worked hard the entire time and I was paying a flat rate and they honored the Angie's List deal price.

This was a very professional job and a good deal. The worker was on time and did what could have been a very disruptive jog with the greatest care and efficiency. He cleaned out all of my duct work, made friends with the dogs, and left the place clean. Couldn't ask for more.

The technician (Miguel C.) arrived on time to perform the work. Without me even having to ask, he put on some covers over his shoes as he entered the house. I noticed that he would take them off and put them back on as he left the house to get tools. This gesture of consideration for my clean floors and carpet really impressed me! There are so many people that pay no regard to that but it was very clear from this technician's behavior that Duct Kings makes this gesture a part of their service. Thank you for that. Miguel C. cleaned everything meticulously. He was here for about 9 hours! Whenever he ran into any issues (like finding major holes in the duct work) he took the time to explain them to me and offer a solution. We'll be having them AEROSEAL one of our systems by the end of the month. The technician was professional, courteous, meticulous, and thorough. Excellent work and we'll be sticking with them for any future duct work.

Duct Kings arrived early, did a great job, and cleaned up after themselves before they left. They also walked my husband through the process, showed us areas which needed attention within our duct system and answered any questions we had.

We were unable to schedule service prior to our move in date. The reason for duct cleaning is that we have a child with allergies. We could not wait until after move in date. Company was very courteous but unable to accommodate our schedule.

Duct Kings cleaned all my duct work. And boy did It need it. Now my heat/ac runs so much better and my furnace/central air units are more efficient. In fact they were so good I hired them to come back and clean my gutters. All in all a great experience. I would definitely call them again.

My experience was good. We had some issues with getting an appointment scheduled. However, they did do a good job and I felt the price was reaosnable.

The service man arrived on time; was personable and professional; answered all our questions; and did the job within the predicted time frame. However, on the next laundry day, we found our dryer wasn't working properly and the vent pipe was leaking in the basement. We called Duct Kings, who sent a crew out the next day. They found and removed a large plug left in the middle of the pipe,which solved the problem. It was a minor annoyance being without the dryer over the holiday weekend and arranging to be home a second day, but they did respond promptly and efficiently, so I would rate their overall performance as "A".

They were able to accommodate scheduling around our twins’ naps, which was much appreciated.

They were good and I would recommend them. They explained exactly what they were going to do, were very nice, and there is now a noticeable difference in the air quality.

He was professional, courteous and prompt. He called before he came. I thought he was very thoughtful and cleaned up after himself. He said my dryer was almost plugged. I pointed out it wasn't on the list and he didn't have to clean it out and he did anyway. I would definitely recommend him to others.
