I was very unhappy that I had a leak in our new roof and couldn't contact the contractor who did the work. I consulted Angie's List and got the name of 3 contractors. Paul of Constitution Contracting promptly returned my call and set up an appointment to see the roof that fit my schedule. He check out various issues that could have contributed to the leak and we selected the most likely cause. He fixed it during the initial visit and all has been good.

The wind had torn off approximately 3x3 ft section of our roof. On a Sunday we called, and Paul Trischitta, returned our call right away and scheduled a visit the next day. Consititution came out the very next day, and made the necessary repairs. Excellent customer service and performance for a reasonable price!

The contractor, Paul Trischitta, returned my call right away and scheduled a visit the next day. He came out to look at the roof and arrived promptly. He let me walk through our trouble areas indoors. He brought a ladder and inspected the roof thoroughly. He developed an estimate on site and sat down and reviewed it with me. Since Constitution Contracting was the first roofing company to respond to my request, I had lots of knowledge to catch up on. Paul answered all my questions knowledgeably, patiently and professionally. He left a folder with several booklets of the products and approach they would be using, in addition to roofing information in general. I was very impressed with his approach. After I reviewing estimates from three different roofers, the Constitution Contracting estimate was of very high quality, but also the highest price. This contractor was my first choice, but due to a sudden personal situation change, regretfully we were no longer able to go with this vendor. When I contacted Paul and informed him of my decision, he even tried to lower the price, which I sincerely appreciated. Even though the work was not performed, but based on the initial encounter, I would definitely recommend Constitution Contracting.

Paul spoke to me several times on the phone, figuring out the best and least costly approach. He recommended that we use the left over shingles from the new roof that were left in the garage. They came out and repaired the roof and it looks like new. They also patched the soffett in an efficient and cost effective manner. Cleanup was great.

The workers arrived at 6:15 am and had everything cleaned up and completed by 6:00 pm the same day. Every bit of waste was collected and disposed of. The dumpster was removed the same day. My neighbor observed the goings on and signed up for a like job from the same contractor,, that same day.

Paul responded immediately to our request for an estimate and within a few days provided us a price, contract, a proposed start date and product specifications. Paul and his team of 13 arrived at dawn of the 21st and left after dark have completed the majority of the work. A smaller team arrived on the 22nd to complete the work and clean-up the site - I was sure that they would never get the yard cleaned up but they did. Paul and his entire team were professional and polite. Our house was built in 1893 - has a tower and a very complicated roof. Paul had scoped out everything before hand and it went very smoothly. A very satisfactory experience.

The job went as planned . Paul came out several times before the job was to start to talk over all the things I wanted done. I explained all the area's of concerns and he gave me several options. When we arrived at our plan he came and performed the job as we described. While he was doing the job I took off work to supervise and answer any possible questions that would arise. Let me say I am very picky as you can probably tell. I picked all specific materials I wanted used and where I wanted them applied. Paul was more than happy to accommodate and give his advise and expertise. They took extra time in all aspects of the job even down to realigning the satellite dish and cleaning the yard. Extra boards were replaced on both structures and I wasn't nickel and dimed. He was fair and from what I can see above all honest. I would use him again in a heartbeat and HIGHLY recommend them.

We had a very old roof on a large duplex that was desperately in need of replacement. Paul came out, got up on the roof and looked everything over. ( I had other roofing companies give me estimates without even getting up there to look at it. ) Paul wrote out and explained a very detailed estimate letting us know everything that would be done and the pricing. I knew since it was an old roof and it bad shape it was going to be a big job at a total of 2,500 square feet for the entire duplex(the total cost for the roof was about $12,000). We had most of the sheathing replaced, new flashing and water shield around 3 chimneys and two skylights. They also put up 4 chimney caps. Paul scheduled 2 days for the job, but his crew pretty much finished it in one day. The second day they basically spent cleaning up and putting on finishing touches. They did a great job of cleaning up the massive amount of shingles, nails and other debris around the yard and protecting most of the plants around the property from damage. Paul was extremely professional explaining everything, staying on schedule and getting back with emails and phone calls in a very timely manner. The final bill was even slightly below his estimate and he honored the Angie's List discount. There was an issue with the flashing around one chimney and Paul came back several times until it was resolved. I appreciated that since the job was done and paid for. Paul is an honest contractor and that can be hard to find.My Mom liked the work he did so much that she had him replace her roof and then her neighbor had him replace his. I would highly recommend Paul and Constitution Contracting and would use them again myself.

Initially I had material on Constitution Contracting from the New England Home Show. I asked for quotes from several vendors from the home show as well as recommendations from others. Paul was in the price range of what I expected. There was some miscommunication at first, but we eventually met and he gave me a list of roofing jobs that he had done in the area. I researched the Better Business Bureau and Angie's List and found positive comments. I am very pleased with the job that was done.

Great service, Paul came over a few days early to discuss the work being done. The day of the work they arrive on time, and went right to work. Took good care not to mangle shrubs. Didn't make a mess. Paul showed me the items we discussed as they were executing them. Excellent cleanup. Very efficient. House and garage look great.

Came to Angie's list specifically for this problem. We developed a leak on the roof in early October, that had started to pool in the second floor bathroom ceiling. I called several providers most with good response. Paul called me back a little later than some of the others, but he had no power due to the early snow storm. He came out for the estimate, viewed the roof, called me back saying he saw a hole and repaired the hole. I did not expect that. All the estimates were within $100 of each other. Paul said he could schedule the job within a couple of weeks (the others had a lead time of over a month). After the award of the job, he surprised me by scheduling it the following week. The material showed up on Saturday, the crew showed up on Monday morning. They were on the roof by 7am, had the old roof off by 10. The majority of the new roof was up by noon and the new soffit went up pretty quickly. The roof was completely done by 4pm and looked great. I will definitely recommend constitution contracting to everyone with a similar need. They are responsive, courteous, professional, and friendly. They will get the job done!

Great from start to finish they saved the day and delivered more than we had hoped for .Trust is a great thing and they established it with doing what they said they would do and on time or when they said they would! We would and have recommended them to everyone we know!

This job was Fantastic from start to finish. Everyone should consider hiring this crew! I found the owner, Paul Trischitta, very easy to talk to. I received estimates from 4 companies and he was the only contractor I interviewed for an estimate who even mentioned soffits and ventilation. I felt he would be thorough and offer a top quality job at a fair price and I was correct. The job has just been completed and I am almost sorry to see the guys go. This is a very hard working team and though they don't need supervision they are well watched and aided by both Paul and his colleague Dan. Dan has an eye for details and won't leave any task alone until it is completed to his high expectations. He is also very easy to be around and makes clients feel quite comfortable asking questions or offering additional help with client requests. Don't be afraid to ask these guys about little things that might crop up. They will do anything to make you happier with the end result. The team arrived at 6:45 and were finished by 5:30. The home is a Dutch Colonial with upper and lower roofs, attached breezeway and garage. The extras on this job were a cupola, a bay window, and an attached shed roof. They attacked each one leaving no detail unattended. In addition we asked for our gutters to be removed so we could paint them. They not only removed them but rehung them for us paying particular attention to the correct pitch we were looking for. They stopped only for a lunch break and did not leave until my property was much cleaner than they found it. A great experience and the house looks wonderful.

Paul responded to my inquiry immediately, saying he was out of the country but would be in touch when he returned. His email stated the date I would hear from him. He emailed me on that day, scheduled an appointment to look at the roof. He arrived on time, answered my questions directly without any song and dance. He left a packet of information, including a list of local references. Within a few days, I received a detailed written estimate by email. I called his references, didn't reach anybody but left messages asking if they'd call me back with a reference. Within 24 hours, all 5 people I left messages for had returned my call, with glowing references. The fact that they would bother to call me back spoke volumes. Paul called me to check in, see if I had any questions. He was proactive without being pushy, and I liked that he wanted my business. When the time came to schedule work, Paul gave me the few days' notice I had requested. He and his crew arrived on time, set up tarps to protect the stuff I store in the garage from dirt, and went to work. They worked steadily until they finished. I liked that Paul stayed onsite to supervise. Cleanup was great---they left my garage cleaner than they found it, put back everything they moved in its proper place, and cleaned up all the debris. Afterwards, I walked around the property to inspect for anything my dogs would eat (which is anything they would find). I picked up a handful of trash, but not a single nail. The amount of trash I had to pick up fit in my hands, not enough to even fill a lunch bag, and there was so little it took me less time to pick up the few pieces than it would have to call and complain. My roof looks great, you can't even see where the repair was. Excellent, professional service, high-quality work. A fair price (about mid-range of the estimates I got). No hassle. I don't think the words "no" or "can't" are in Paul's vocabulary---he is very customer-focused and responsive. Update: I had a problem with rain hitting the top of a window from the roof (where the addition meets the main house) and leaking into the window. It's unclear how much of the problem was from the roof flashing and how much was because the window didn't deal with it properly. Regardless, Paul fixed the problem, without a hassle. He is a stand-up guy, who stands by his work.

Paul was terrific to work with, made numerous recommendations on my re-roofing project and was open to negotiation in a very professional manner (No Pressure). Our discussions via telephone were very easy, Paul was quick to reply to my questions and did some additional research with the skylight manufacturer to insure the proper installation . The team arrived on time, did a great job on the entire roof and new skylight installations and clean up at the end of the day. The entire process was completed in one day. I highly recommend Paul and his team at Constitution Contracting.

Work was done on time, to a high level of quality and at agreed upon price. Paul is excellent to work with and very knowledgeable.

I had some damage to my siding and some bad leaking at the seam where an large addition had been built on to my home by its previous owner. I also needed vents and chimney caps installed. I got quotes from four roofers. When Paul came to quote, he took out a ladder, and climbed up on the roof to take a better look at the damage. He took pictures to show me - extremely helpful. He offered a few money-saving alternatives to doing the entire job, and was very knowledgeable about the best materials to use to protect against future water damage. When he quoted, he promptly answered each of my many questions with courtesy and professionalism. I decided to do the entire job with him, even though he wasn't the cheapest. On the scheduled day, Paul arrived with a good-size crew, and the job proceeded quickly. The crew was professional and courteous. The job was well done, and I was especially impressed with the siding and carpentry work and the paint job. They were done the same day. Cleanup - especially nails - was very well done. I recommend without hesitation. The job was professional, prompt, clean, and a great value.

It went very well. They promised that the work would be done in two days. When I asked how, Paul, who was terrific to work with, said he will have a 9 man crew working on it. They came early in the morning on the 14th. I indicated that I was concerned that it would rain the next day and he told me not to worry. He would try to get the job done in one day! The next thing I knew there were 14 men working on the roof. The sound of hammering was like a machine gun they wore working so hard. They did a great job of preparing the site so that there would be no damage. They worked constantly all day. When the sun went down they weren't quite done so they worked into the evening. They finally ended their work when they reached a point where the rain would not cause damage. The following day they returned to put the finishing touches on the job. I've had many experiences with contractors where they were late or unreliable. It was totally refreshing working with Paul and his crew. He and his crew were professional and respectful. Paul was a pleasure to do business with. I highly recommend.

The quote was fine and the price was fine too. However, I didn?t get the quote in writing. There seemed to be some resistance from their end to put everything in writing. Hence, I didn?t use them. The quote was for $16000, which was competitive. They made good suggestions about the material. They looked at the roof and the condition of the roof. The guy made some good suggestions for the wood edge. He suggested use of alternative products, which was useful. They were responsive. I will consider them again in the future. Update: The above was the reason why I did not go with them back in 2010. Eventually I did go with them and am very happy with the results.

The interaction was fine. It was exactly what I expected. Both of them seemed very knowledgeable and they answered all of my questions.

Hiring Paul and his crew was one of the best decisions I made as a new homeowner. When purchasing the property, I knew that we needed a new roof immediately to prevent the ice dams that had been experienced by the previous owner. To be thorough, I asked a few contractors to provide bids. While other contractors drove by the property to provide a bid, Paul impressed me because he was the only one that asked to get inside the attic to assess the cause of the ice dams so he could be certain the work he was offering would address my concern. His crew worked quickly and efficiently. When I asked Paul about the soffit vents, channel vents and insulation that was being installed, he immediately went up the ladder to where his crew was working to ensure there was enough space to allow for air flow. His crew had it installed correctly, but his willingness to scramble up the ladder reassured me that “the boss was on top of it” and he was committed to the quality his crew was providing. Plus I threw him a curveball when I asked about the possibility of replacing some clapboards that were poorly installed by the previous owner. That afternoon, he picked up replacements, installed them and just charged me for the materials, even though it wasn’t part of the original quote. And did I mention that the entire job was completed in one day. Without hesitation, I would recommend Constitution Contracting to anyone looking for a new roof.

My experience with Constitution Contracting was excellent. Paul and his associate were extremely professional and friendly. When I requested a quote, Paul came out within 24 hours to scope the work. His proposal was detailed and he was very responsive and patient in answering a host of my questions in email and over the phone. His price was competitive and he provided a lengthy list of references. I spoke to three of them; they all gave Constitution Contracting stellar reviews. Due to bad rain storms we had to reschedule the work. Paul made sure to keep me up to date on when the work could be done. They arrived on time, finished on time, and delivered excellent work within scope and for the agreed upon price. It was truly a pleasure dealing with Paul and his associate. I would hire them again without a doubt and highly recommend them to anyone else.
