Description of Work: Scottie came to review the problem. He said he didn't do this particular repair (in a multi family house), but referred me to another plumber who did. The plumber he referred me to was also excellent and repaired the pipe for a good price. |I've used Skiba many times over the years. Always excellent repairs and fair price. Highly recommend.

Description of Work: Replaced rotted pipe underneath kitchen sink, drain. Made certain rest of plumbing was in decent shape. Made recommendations for down the road, but didn't do strong sell. Work was done well and quickly. Price was very reasonable, much better than other plumbers I've used before. Competent and ethical, what a combination!

+ 0 moreWe called on Tuesday morning; he was there on Wednesday morning. He was extremely patient, calm and resourceful. The problem was difficult (I thought). He was polite, knowledgeable, and skilled... plus he has a wonderful demeanor and sense of humor. He's the first plumber in my life (I'm 68) I'd call again.

+ -1 moreI've used them for 40 years. They're the best plumber there is. They're the only ones I've used. They are terrific. They are father and two sons. They are on time, honest and responsible. They cleaned up. They will always come when you have an emergency. Yes, I would suggest they go with their services. I once said to my son, the bill from Skiba was a little high. He said, “Have you ever had to redo anything they did for you?” and I said, “No.” He said,”there you go.” They are not cheap but they are excellent. I believe I got value for what they charge. They are worth it. I always pay my bill. Their punctuality is perfect.

Description of Work: This contractor unclogged the main pipe from my bathtub into the basement by replacing part of the main drain pipe. He was extremely professional, on task and informative. I would definitely call this company back for any plumbing problem.

+ -1 moreInstallation went very well. Plumber came at the time specified to give a quote and came on time to do the installation of the new sink. He was very accommodating in arranging his schedule to do the work. Required 2 vists since the old sink had to be removed and new sink put in after a new counter top was installed. The price quoted to do the work was reasonable compared to other plumbers in the area. I would hire him again.

+ 0 moreHe was prompt, efficient, professional and SOOOOO HONEST! Clients don't think twice about leaving him the key to let himself in, do the work, and charging a very fair price. I trust him.
Description of Work: I needed to replace a toilet and a wash drain was clogged (a sock was found). A wax ring had to be replaced. I tried to do the work myself but I found out that I needed an expert. It would have saved me a lot of money & aggravation & time if I called him first.
