It went fairly smoothly. They gave honest feedback on the existing fixtures (what needed to be replaced, what could be repaired). They didn't have an exterior fixture that I needed on the truck so I went out and purchased locally. They installed and set up the auto settings for an exterior spotlight. Indoors, they installed a new ceiling fixture in a hallway and diagonosed and repaired some recessed can lights in the basement. One of the two has since failed again, which was a risk I took to avoid a replacement. Looks like I will need to call them again!

Very well. I was given good info to make the right decisions. Work done in a timely manner. When I tried to use the switch months latter and had a problem due to operator error they came right out and got me going. They also didn’t try to upsell me to a more expensive option but encouraged me to just meet my needs.

Two electricians arrived on the day AND TIME requested. They were very professional as well as personable. They told me how they would proceed. and were very careful about how they worked, avoiding any unnecessary drilling or removal of plaster. They proved to be very efficient and quiet in their efforts, vacuumed up the little debris that had resulted, presented me with the expected invoice, thanked me and left. Two days later I got a call from Harland, asking if the work was satisfactory, and saying they were sending me a $42 refund because, though I paid the estimate, there had been a miscalculation on the materials involved. Can't remember the last time I had a professional company call to let me know they were sending me a refund!

His crew was on time and finished their work in a timely manner. They were courteous in their dealings with us and cleaned up the work areas better than we would have done. I highly recommend them for both residential and commercial work.

Really well. Just left with a bit of a whole where old light was and new light doesn't cover it. Have to fix that somehow.

The technician came, gave me an estimate, we agreed on a date and time. Two electricians came at the appointed day and time, and went immediately to work. They were very professional and personable, were extremely mindful of the flooring and furniture. When they left, the lighting was just as I wanted, and there was no "evidence" (i.e., no footprints, no dust, no left behind materials) of their having been there. They gave me the invoice at the end of their work day, and I paid it. I had a call the next day that there had been a mistake in calculating the cost of materials and I would be receiving a refund check of $41.00. I can't remember the last time that happened. I would call them again when I need electrical services.

Went very well. They had a difficult time in getting a new ground wire installed in the finished basement, but did so with a minimal of holes.

Great job as usual. Had to move the one above our kitchen table and patch the old hole. They did a nice job. I highly recommend.

As wonderful as always. Excellent work at an excellent price. Harland is our go-to electrician for all work and upgrades needed for a very old house. We sometimes have to wait for availability, but we happily do so because the wait is worth it!

Perfectly well. The hope was to get cable fished up along plumbings pipes through the walls to upper floors, but the pipes had too big a jog. The smaller-scale version was to do hookups on the 1st floor only. Jeremy was knowledgable and understood what we were after, and worked with us to get the most out of the project. He suggested an excellent spot for an extra hookup that we hadn't considered: high up a wall on the first floor, at roughly the geometric center of the house. It's an ideal spot to broadcast wifi and we're quite pleased with it. Materials used were top quality.

Everything they've done has gone great. They are always on time, courteous and professional. They clean up when finished. I have complete confidence in Harland Electric. Their rates are more than fair. In fact, they did one small thing for me and I didn't think they charged enough to cover the work.

After coming out to my house for the initial estimate, and before I had finalized/decided to hire Harland Electric, Bill had already contacted the town electrical inspector and arranged for him to come look at our situation (besides needing the new service panel, I also needed to have the supply wire from the pole to the house moved). That pro-active work sealed the deal for me. We scheduled a time for a crew to come and replace the service panel and install the new lines two weeks out. Early the next week I got a call telling me that they had a cancellation, and could come the next day. A crew of two showed up bright and early, and it took most of the day to do just the service panel replacement. We scheduled another time for the pool equipment work. They showed up promptly for that as well. Even though the work took longer than expected, Harland charged me the original quoted price. The electricians that came to the house were professional, and you'd never know that work had been done, cleanup was so good.

Bill Harland showed up on time as scheduled and looked at the proposed work locations. Found that the electrical box had some double breakers that were not to code. Gave good recommendations on how to resolve the code violations and complete the new electriacal work. (Quote submitted. Pending approval.) Labor and materials to install three pendant fixtures (provided by customer), three switching locations set up for three way control, one GFCI counter receptacle, and remove tandem breakers in panel while adding four AFCI breakers to meet code requirements = $1,450.00 2) Permit fee from the town to be reimbursed to Harland Electric (estimated to be around $100.00)

They did so and fixed the problem for about $150. There was a plug that was not properly wired or shorted out and they had to rewire just that one plug.

Harland Electric was fantastic and really saved us! When they heard Eversource told us if we didn't replace the meter socket within the week, we were going to have a fire, Andy rescheduled another one of their jobs to fit us in the next day. Had called many electricians and Andy was the only one who offered to do this which was much appreciated given the 97 degree weather that had moved in (until the meter socket was replaced, we were unable to use our a.c., oven, or dryer). On top of them being flexible, the job ended up costing 75% less than the other estimates had received. Will definitely be using Harland Electric in the future and highly recommend them!

It was good. In general in this Boston area, they don't tend to call you back. You have to make multiple calls to people to get them to respond you there. They don't return calls. This is for every service, not just this one. I think they were on time.

Judy was very informative and helpful in the office and the guys arrived within the estimated time and completed the work quickly without leaving a mess.
