SavATree - Lincoln

SavATree is wonderful. I walked out and the service man was very courteous and thorough. We had paid for one tree, and we knew that it had bugs, and there was another tree 8 or 10 feet away, and he sprayed that, because he said they were related. That was outstanding. We will use them again this year.

I have had other people trees, and they were knowledgeable. The person who was trimming trees, and knew where to cut them. There was one tree, and I told him that it was too tall, and he said they would trim it. I think they hire horticulturists to do the work. They were more reasonable than other people who I have used, and didn't do a good job.

When Jeff first came to give an estimate he was prompt and very nice. He answered all my many questions and did a full evaluation of my yard informing me of issues I didn't even realize. He worked up an estimate and was in no way pushy about any of the devices. I put down my estimate and It was recommended we wait until the ground froze. Recently the temperature dropped and Jeff called to setup coming to take down the tree. They showed up first thing in the morning. The crew of 3 guys got through the job in 3 hours. The yard was left spotless. I would not only recommend SavATree but would use them again myself.

They came out quickly and were very efficient. Very easy to work with and we were very happy with their results. We will be using them again in the Spring.

The previous company we used was double the cost and said we needed two sprayings. Alton (the arborist for Save a Tree) felt one spraying was sufficient and he was right. No sign of winter moth caterpillars last spring despite many moths flying in the fall.

We liked them. They did a great job. They are knowledgeable and punctual. We ended up hiring them for our lawn.

They were great! I recommend them highly.

They were very prompt with an estimate and very clear as to what would be done. Of the 3 companies we called, they were the only ones that used a boom truck to get to the upper limbs of many of the trees that were trimmed. The other 2 companies said they would climb the trees and use tall ladders to get the smaller growth in the yard. I had my doubts and really did not want people climbing trees and standing on ladders to reach upper branches that needed to come down. I don't think they would have been able to get half of what Save a Tree got. The price was

Great on time price came in as quoted. Alton explained in detail the work to be performed on my trees by his contractors during the estimate. He took his time explained the benefits of pruning back trees and cleaning up bushes. The contractors that performed the actual work were professional and cleaned up the yard after pruning. They were friendly and they doubled checked to make sure everything was satisfactory with the pruning especially my Japanese maple. I had to wait two weeks after estimate before a contractor came out.

This company never returned my phone call. I contacted them and they said they would call me once they had an opening. I never had a return call.

Jeff is wonderful! And so is the administrative team. Very helpful. Removed large maple (with neighbors) that was doing damage and trimmed trees around garage that were doing damage. Also took time out to talk about other things in my yard. It was a bit pricey but the service was well worth it. I'm having him come back again to look at the current trees and shrubs and grass.

Capable, professional and punctual, although a little pricey. We cut back on some projects to help keep within budget.

They did the trimming of the plants, bushes, shrubs and trees. They came very quickly and did an assessment. The price was very reasonable. They cleaned up all the work and they were helpful. They did a very good job.

They pruned two trees and put a cable high in the branches of another tree. The service was good. They were responsive and professional. They came on time for the appointment, did a good job and offered additional services for an additional fee which we did.

They arrived on time, did a good job. I did make an additional request that one of the guys cut an additional branch while he was up in the tree and he kind of ignored me and said yeah yeah, if we have time. They did not cut the branch, even though it was a small branch and they clearly did have time. I called them to see if they would come back to cut that branch I'd asked about and they did come back to do it. So I ended up satisfied.

They called me back and scheduled me right away. I would use them again in the future if the price is right.

They did an outstanding job, and I would definitely recommend them.

The trees look great but unfortunately all of my Peonies, Lilies and hydrangea are destroyed. If I had known that everything below and around the trees would be crushed and destroyed I would have gone with a different company. So sad and disappointed. It's such a shame because I just invested so much money to plant this garden. Not to mention the peonies were just starting to bloom and now ever stem is snapped at the base. It's as if they hires some big guy to come and sit on all my plants. Sava tree, Killa garden. I also contacted them about this and there was NO response! Really nice

Alton Cole, SavATree's arborist, came to evaluate trees on our property last fall as part of a Big Deal. It took him about fifteen minutes to determine that our trees had enough issues to warrant a removal service with larger equipment than he had, so he recommended Marquis Tree Service and advised us to call immediately since one tree near the house was in imminent danger. We dragged our feet for a day and got a call from Marquis; Alton had been concerned enough that he called them himself. This is service above and beyond! (We did have ten hours of tree work done by Marquis, another terrific organization, the following week!) Since we thought we might still have Big Deal credit, we called again this spring, a full six months later, and again Alton came out. He evaluated our foundation shrubs, determining which could be saved and which needed removal and talking through each decision with us. In addition, he looked at some large trees in the yard that we thought would profit from removal of broken limbs and some shaping. Within a couple of days, Alton had provided two detailed estimates, one for the shrub work and the other for the trees, either one of which qualified for a discount of the full amount of the Big Deal. We decided to go ahead with the shrubs and revisit the (more expensive) trees next fall. Within two weeks of the initial evaluation, Alton arrived at 7:30 AM with his crew, having set up the appointment a couple of days before. Alton gave his directions and the crew then put in a full day's work. They removed non-thriving foliage from six shrubs, completely removed two stunted yews, and cleaned up beautifully afterwards. I love results. The bare trunks and branches of the yews are beautiful, and a giant pair of rhododendrons is still giant but nicely contained. This was an all-around good experience.

Contractor initially provided lawn aeration as scheduled. I then retained their services for on-going lawn maintenance. They always performed services promptly and were available to answer questions as needed. I was very satisfied and subsequently used them for tree pruning & some tree removal. All services were performed as promised. The only drawback was pricing, which was on the high side for all of their services. In fairness though, the staff are well-educated and very knowledgeable in this field, perhaps justifying premium pricing. I would, and probably will, use them again.

I had chatted with a few area arborists and this firm impressed. They seemed measurably more professional, punctual, and responsive. Their work was well orchestrated, with minimal disruption to me. After clean-up, there was no evidence of hem being there, except that the problem trees were no longer problems. I would use them again.
