I contacted them they sent ou their arborist and he gave me an estimate. They were prompt, efficient, and they did really high quality work. Their price was was reasonable.

They were very organized and professional. I obtained two other local tree company estimates and the arborist (Stefan) was the only one to provide an itemized quote of all the trees with a detailed, numbered map. The other two tree companies did not itemize the work and quoted a daily rate. One company only provided a verbal estimate and the owner acted insulted when I asked for an itemized quote. One company was so busy I had to wait 2 weeks before I could get an estimate. The crew arrived by 7:30 am and left at 5 pm and put in a full days' work. They had a wood chipper and cleaned up all the brush and pruned limbs and did not leave a mess behind. They do not hassle you to sign a contract (one company said the final cost could be +10% higher), giving them a 50% deposit, or paying up front. They also applied the Angie's List "Big Deal" coupon to the invoice. Lowden SavATree has also been our lawn service company (SavALawn) for over 10 years. I was very pleased with their tree work and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

The crew arrived promptly on the date scheduled and we walked around the property and the crew chief explained in detail what they would be doing. Then they got to work taking the tree down. When watching an operation like this you come to appreciate the degree of skill and experience required to do it well; throughout, I had full confidence that the crew knew what they were doing and were in full control of this very large tree. Despite unexpectedly running into a large bee hive in the tree trunk, the crew completed the job, and even carved out a seat in the tree stump so that my son now has a special place to sit in the yard. In the delicate and high-anxiety process of removing the section of trunk with the bee hive, some flowers in our neighbor's yard were crushed. When I brought this to to attention of Alton Cole the following day (after our neighbors brought the damage to our attention), he visited our neighbor's house to assess the damage and proposed a solution (that he would plant some new flowers in the place of the trampled ones). We were pleased with this outcome as we would not have wanted to strain our relationship with our neighbors.

They are exceptional. I have been using them for the past 2 years.

They had to do some more work, but they didn?t have the right equipment. So, they will come back again. I will definitely recommend them. They were professional. I asked them to come after 12 because I would be home back then. They came a little early and were just looking around things. They were things that I couldn?t identify and they just took care of it. It was great.

They were a good company. I thought it was a little expensive, but I didn't receive an estimate from anyone else. They were punctual, and they cleaned up after they were finished.

I signed up for the Big Deal with them. They left me a message saying they would be there on Friday afternoon. They never showed up and they never called.

Their estimate was three times as much for the trees that other companies that have been out. Other they showed up on time, very possessional. Just way over priced.

Fertilized my trees and also cut down/trimmed trees as required. Also provided advise on where/how to plant and do certain things myself.

HONEST.. Rather than treating the trees, it was too late in the season and he told me this. He recommended fertiizing them this summer and applying the tree infestation treatment in the spring. I agreed, They performed the work quickly, and they promised to call me in the spring at the appropriate time to do the work. I hope so, because if they do, I will have them do the required treatment.

Came when promised, did exactly what we wanted, cleaned up perfectly. They were careful to not hurt other plantings.

They definitely know what they are doing and I recommend them highly. My trees looked great after they were done and they came and explained and showed me why they had to take an extra branch off as it was dying. Jim Harshberger gave me loads of advice about the trees and bushes which I appreciated. This company goes out of it's way to help the homeowner. I wish Angies List had an A+ because this company definitely deserves it.

The guy quoted me $1200 to trim 4 trees and that wouldn?t have included the removal of a lot of debris that the previous owner left behind. Price was way higher than I wanted to pay, and the guy made it seem like since he was the best rated on Angie?s we would be foolish to look elsewhere, that kind bugged me. I found another contractor who did a fantastic job at a more reasonable price.

The company returned calls and answered all of our questions. A scope of work was suggested and provided to me in writing. This included a suggested design of the work to open up the sunlight in our yard. The work was performed as scheduled. We are very happy with the results. The job was designed knowledgeably and we have gotten a great result and will not have to repeat the work again soon.

He told me the tree should come down. He steered me in the right direction to get the right price to take the tree down. He was helpful, polite and on time. I felt safe with him. He knew a lot about what he was talking about. He had a lot of information. It was pouring rain, and he came out and stood in the rain to look at my tree. Someone else might have blown it off and rescheduled.

The work is very responsible and careful. They were punctual and the price was in line with other estimates.

I called SAT to get a bid on tree removal. Jeff returned my call and came out promptly to assess the work. After we'd discussed the tree removal he walked around the property and asked if we'd ever had the front yard tree fertilized, which we hadn't in the ten years we've lived here. He reassured me that the tree was healthy (the bark looked splotchy and I'd wanted to ask someone for years but he said that's the way crabapples are). I asked for an estimate on grinding the stumps down. He left a written bid and it wasn't the cheapest of the 3 but I liked his professionalism and the bid he gave on some of the supplemental work made the whole thing appealing. When I called to schedule we found a day that worked for me-- I wanted to be home--within a couple of weeks. Jeff explained that the tree fertilizer guys would be there on a separate day, and they were, coming within a few days of my committing to the work. They did not alert me in advance but that wasn't really a problem. Luckily the guy came before I left for work or I would have had no way of knowing that work had been done. As for the rest, the team of 2 arrived early on the day scheduled. They were efficient and hard working, it was amazing to watch how they felled the trees, cut them up, and dragged them to the wood chipper. (One thing; it was pretty noisy.) As promised they cut up the smaller wood for me and left it as requested. They ground the hedge stumps, eliminating a huge eyesore for me. Jeff came by mid-day to check on their work and since I hadn't been out to speak with them I went out and got an update on what they'd done and what they had left to do. I went out again toward the end of the day and thanked them. They cleaned up the area quite well, no complaints there. Later in the day I looked at the stumps of the trees removed and realized the stump of the main tree removed wasn't as level or as low as I would have liked (I should have inspected more closely before the guys left) and the stumps of the lower trees seemed high to me also. Jeff emailed me the next day to ask if I was satisfied with the work and I mentioned this to him. He said he would come by and take a look. He came out within a few days and emailed me that he saw what I meant about the large stump, but with the smaller ones he thought they'd gotten as close as they safely could (I had separately come to the same conclusion, the smaller ones didn't look so bad upon review). He said he would send someone around to finish the large stump as soon as he could. A week or two passed and I hadn't seen anyone so I emailed him again to remind him. He said they'd been busy and it had also rained but he hadn't forgotten. Within a few more days someone came by and when I went to look from my house for where the stump was I couldn't see it, which was an excellent sign. Overall I was quite pleased with the experience and would recommend SavATree in a heartbeat.

My experience with Lowden has been very good. I believe they have saved the lives of several of my older trees, which would have been very costly to have removed and hauled away.

They were professional and easy to work with. I would recommend them to others.

They showed up exactly on time, cut up the trees and moved them in pieces through the house to a chipper outside. We had to lay down plastic sheeting over the floors to protect them from the guys' boots but the guys were very tidy and I was able to clean up in about ten minutes after they left. They were very professional and efficient and did a great job.

The rep arrived on time, was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Gave me advice on the two trees in question along with other advice about some of my other trees. Chose not to go with them because the cost was double what I received from two other companies.

They were great! Jeff Bourque came to my house and gave me an estimate for the work to be done. I wasn't sure if some trees would need to be removed but Jeff was very knowledgeable and respectful of my desire to remove as few trees as possible. He gave me a lot of information on the types of trees in my yard and said that they were all hard wood and deep rooted trees that are unlikely to fall or break during a storm which meant that no trees had to be removed. They showed up to do the work exactly on time and removed all tree debris. The only evidence that they had actually been there were the trimmed trees themselves; no branches were left behind! Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely hire them again.

Great! These folks are really good. They know their business, are professional and neat. I hated the idea of spending so much on trees, but they proved well-worth the money we paid.
