SavATree - Lincoln

We are extremely pleased with the work and service we have received from SavaTree - Lincoln. Jim came to our home and walked around our property giving us advice on what tree work needed to be done, what didn't and tips on how we could care for our shrubs ourselves. The estimate we received for trimming a large Norway maple was less than 2 other tree services. In between the estimate date and the scheduled service date, we incurred more storm damage from Hurricane Sandy and Jim and his crew quickly rescheduled to remove the fallen limbs. Jim and his crew are very knowledgable, professional, courteous and efficient. The work area under the tree was very clean and neat after they left. Although more work was needed, they honored the original estimate and did not charge us more. We first made contact with Jim and SavaTree through an Angie's List coupon deal for landscape fertilization. In addition to that service, we added another treatment plan for our hemlocks over several months. Each time, I was notified by email 2 days prior to when they would be arriving. The work was great and we can see the benefits already. We highly recommend SavaTree - Lincoln.

A storm had knocked large tree branches into our driveway. Despite a hectic schedule, they were able to fit me in promptly, and they did a great job.

Initial estimate was done quickly, but scheduling depended on when they had time available amidst larger jobs. Took somewhat longer to find an opening than first projected. The work itself went smoothly, with good clean up. An Angie's List coupon saved a significant amount.

This was p Big Deal offer so I contacted Savatree and scheduled an appointment with Alton Cole to look at the work to be done and provide an estimated cost. Mr. Cole was prompt and professional. The holly bushes and the dogwood tree were both quite large and badly in need of pruning and height reduction. Several smaller bushes were also overgrown and in need of attention.. Mr. Cole spent some time reviewing the bushes and trees before he met with me to explain his recommendations. I discussed the quote with my husband and we decided to proceed. The crew arrived 15 minutes early and went right to work. After the work was completed the crew removed all the clippings and branches . The crew was courteous and pleasant.The trees and bushes look much better and improved the appearance of the home. A few days later Mr. Cole returned to check the work and to make sure that we are satisfied. Overall we are very satisfied and would definitely recommend Saveatree to others.

The job was well done. However, I think the price was high and I will get estimates from more local companies next time.

They came when they said, cut it back just the right amount, left me cut burn-able wood(as i asked) and cleaned up as if they weren't there. I would recommend them!

We bought the Angie's List "Big Deal" for lawn aeration. The company did a great job on our lawn. In addition, we have them give us some estimates for treating some of our trees/bushes. We didn't end up pursuing the treatments because we put our house on the market shortly after. However they are extremely knowledgeable in the types of trees/shrubs and the various treatments that each species needs. I would definitely use them again.

It went very well. Jim is knowledgeable, friendly and seems very fair. He provided advice on the landscaping in general, including tasks I could complete myself. There is no hard sell.

I called SavATree to have them remove a tree that was growing very close to the house, and to have some bushes trimmed into shape. When I called the company they were very responsive and promptly set me up with an appointment to meet with Jim Harshbarger, a MA Certified Arborist. Mr. Harshbarger came to my home and walked around the property with me to look at each shrub/tree that was in the yard. We then sat down and talked about the work that I was interested in having the company do for me. He made several recommendations to me about the care of the shrubs that I presently have, and even gave me the names of various bushes and shrubs that I might consider as replacements for those that I was having removed. i found him to be very pleasant and helpful, and not at all pushy or aggressive. I trusted his judgement and took his advise on researching the various plantings that he suggested to me, as well as talking with the folks at Mahoney's of Winchester, who had nothing but praise for his recommendations. On the 14th of September the company removed two large shrubs for me and pruned several others. The work was done while I was at work, but they did a wonderful job. The clean up was superb, and they left no evidence of even being there. My neighbor stepped out when I arrived home that afternoon to tell me how good the shrubs looked. I am very happy with Mr. Harshbarger and the work that this company has done for me.

They did everything I asked them to. They were able to accommodate my hectic schedule, and my trees look wonderful.

It was a very nice experience. After observing the plantings around the property the arborist discussed what process would be used and how it would be performed. He also suggested how to prune individual shrubs to ensure healthier plants. I found his knowledge and help invaluable and would not hesitate to recommend him.

I took advantage of an Angie's List coupon with SavATree - Lincoln. I asked them to remove two trees (Norway maples) about 50 feet high each. They would become problems someday. They gave me an estimate and also advised me on other trees on my property as well as abutting (and hanging or looming over) my property. They came on the appointed day, performed the work and left the area spotless. I wouldn't hesitate to use their services again.

Went very well altogether. The only thing still undone is some stump grinding. Have called them twice about this, but because they apparently farm this kind of work out to others, I have not yet had the grinding done. will try once more. The work that they DID do was excellent, and I would patronize this vendor again.

I used one of Angie's List's "Big Deals". The price that I have listed is the total I paid. Jim from Sav A Tree came out (in June) to give me an estimate for the work. I did not schedule the job. He called this week to say he had tree work nearby on Friday and asked if they could do my work that day. This was helpful, since I had been procrastinating. Matt and Jessica arrived this morning and did a professional job. They cleaned the driveway when they were finished. I am very pleased with their work and this company.

Every aspect of their service was excellent, from the initial contact (they called me after I signed up for the "BIG DEAL"), to the visit by the arborist who made the estimate, to the actual work. The tree guys were efficient, friendly and the very neat. They also removed other fallen branches from our hill. I received the bill via email and paid online, which was convenient. I would definitely hire SavATree again.

My big oak tree was losing branches and leaves, and SavATree came highly recommended. The arborist gave the tree a thorough evaluation, and explained exactly what was wrong. He wrote up a treatment plan and the work was done within a week's time. I didn't have to even be home! I was satisfied with the service and will definitely call them in the spring to do the other recommended treatment.

He pointed out things that needed to be done. He was able to offer cost saving options. He itemized everything so I could see what each item cost.
