Initially it was very good and the price was fine. Subsequently, they have been a little more expensive and I haven't used them. If their price was good, I would use them again. I was very pleased with their work. They were responsive.

Kevin came out to look at our apricot tree which he pruned two years ago. He as very knowledgable, informative and friendly. He called to set up a time, was punctual and cordial. He advised against a pruning this year and gave me valuable suggestions in regard to alternative plants and pruning. I highly recommend this company for its honest, excellent and informed work! Will schedule a pruning next year for sure!

They were excellent. The price was reasonable. It took 2 days because they had to come back with the special grinder to grind the stump so it was a big job.

They arrived for the appointment on time, diagnosed the situation and provided quotes for the various options available for treatment. When the work was completed, the results were excellent. The trees looked "natural" after the pruning and no yard debris was present. After multiple rounds of snow fall this season, the branches are still in good shape (i.e. none cracked or fallen), especially on the pine tree, which typically suffers from the weight of the snow.

They were great, they were right on mark for price, the experience, the follow up, the conformation, the customer service. They did phenomenal work pruning a lot of my ornamental trees. They were just fabulous in all regards! ?A? for everything they did and for their expertise in how the job looked after, it was great! Their responsiveness was better than you could imagine, it was ?A?! Prepped, followed up, responded, checked on it, whet over everything with me before, during, after, had another follow up. The customer service was just phenomenal!

This is a really good company but I was a little annoyed over some tree spraying. I had a birch tree getting attacked by bugs every year. I signed up for the 3 step spraying and fertilizer program which was reasonably priced. The bugs did a little bit of chewing on the leaves but the tree was much healthier this year. I discussed the bug issue and found out there is an extra spraying that can occur earlier in the year to really prevent problems such as eggs hatching. Wish I knew about that. Besides that, I really liked the way they offered a three step program in the mail during the winter. It was a good program, reasonably priced and my trees seem to be improved. They also seem very professional and send people over if you have issues. I will use them again this year.

Crew spent the whole day removing trees and cleaning up. Sav a tree came back to make sure I was satisfied before final payment. I was very satisfied with the service.

This is the second time we have used SavATree. My daughter just purchased a home and the home inspection identified 2 trees near the house that needed to be pruned to remove branches close to the roof, and also remove branches around the electric drop from the pole to the house. We had an appointment with Rafael at 9:00. He was running about 5 minutes late and called to say he would be a bit late. When Rafael arrived he provided suggestions for pruning the 2 trees near the house and agreed that the partially dead tree in the rear and the overgrown Forsythia should be removed. He also suggested removing some dead branches near the ground on a pine and raising the ground clearance up to about 6 feet. He quoted $809.00 for that work and said the work could be completed within about 2 weeks. About 2 weeks later, SavATree contacted us stating that the crew would be coming out the following day to perform the work. The crew was very professional and polite, arriving precisely within the timeframe specified. They did an excellent job of removing the branches overhanging the roof, and after that work was done, got up on the roof and cleaned up any small debris that fell. They also did an excellent job of opening up a birch, removing extraneous growth and clearing branches from around the power lines coming to the house. The removal of the partially dead tree, the Forsythia and the trimming of the pine also went well. The crew was very respectful of the property, ensuring that all branches and chips were cleaned up prior to departing. Overall, SavATree did an excellent job. The arborist Rafael and the crews performing the work are very knowledgeable, professional and punctual. We highly recommend SavATree and will use them in the future as needed.

Rafael quickly pinpointed the source of the infestation in the spruce tree, and recommended removing a nearby tree that 'shares' the infection. Their team cut down the damaged pine and removed the other tree quickly and efficiently. I was impressed by Savatree's depth of knowledge and the good job their team did -- highly recommended!

Alton Cole is a professional and knowledgeable arborist. He visited my property in August for an appraisal on a large elm tree. He provided two quotes: one for trimming and the work I had requested and the other if I wanted to have the tree fully removed. He helped me to see that the tree has some potential structural issues which, in the long run, could become more serious. I thought over the proposals for a few months and decided to go ahead with the heavy pruning. It was simple to make an appointment. I contacted the office and was immediately put into the cue. Alton called a few weeks later (it typically takes 2-4, I was told) and said that a crew could be out the next day. I agreed and they came out and spent the day performing the work. The tree looks great, and I feel better knowing that it has been cared for.

I have used SavaTree for the past 5-7 years for spring treatment of winter moth and was pleased with their service. In early September I called to get an estimate for fall tree trimming. An estimator came out promptly and quoted $3000 for various services. When I reviewed the formal email estimate I realized that I didn't need some of the services this year. For example, since I may be moving, I saw no need to "top-off" two healthy 70-80 ft trees. I call the Savatree office to ask for a revised estimate based jupon my present needs. Although the woman I spoke to seemed annoyed that I was not getting the "full package," she promised to contact the estimator and send a new estimate the next day. After a week of not hearing from her, I called again. This time speaking to another woman who, once again, promised a revised estimate. Three weeks later, NOTHING. I assume the company felt it wasn't worth their time for a smaller job. Although I have been a loyal customer, I can understand this decision. What I can't accept is no notification. I have another arborist doing my job for $1000.

They were okay. When they first came, some of the strawberries were dying and then brought it back to life. So now they are doing well. They also planted some that is doing well. I have them come back for a couple of years to see how everything goes. I think the cost is high.

The work went fine. The arborist assessment was thoughtful. They did an exceptional job pruning and treating rhododendron plants that were badly stressed. Removal of dead shrubs was clean and complete. Pruning of one shrub was a bit untidy (they could have cleaned up the debris a bit better), and there was some misunderstanding about what work would be done. They were responsive, however, to my concerns and suggestions for how to clarify communication in the future. Price is probably average, based on estimates - no complaints about that. Overall, solid work.

We contacted three vendors for an estimate on tree health with an eye to removal and stump grinding for a number of suspect trees. Stefan from SavATree made a visit within a few days of contact. Stefan took at hour to walk me through his assessment of every large tree on the property. He provided a written estimate before leaving. He went above and beyond my expectations to explain to me the observed disease, observed decay and observed health of dozens of large trees on my 1 acre property. I really enjoyed meeting Stefan and benefitted from his expertise, knowledge and friendliness. Stefan provided a quote with a tiered list based upon three factors: tree health, tree fall direction and tree fall likelihood. Based upon this, we were provided a "must remove", "may remove or try to save", "will want to remove in the future" listing of tree work. He worked with me to offer a buffet of services, if you will, including a discount if multiple services were done at the same time. Once we received the three estimates, I contacted Stefan to inform him that the quote from SavATree was higher than the others. Stefan was honest and direct about the things that we should look for in a tree removal company and praised SavATree for their personal care and the services provided to clients and employees. While we ended up selecting another vendor due to cost, we would absolutely contact SavATree in the future for additional services. Stefan is a keeper!

It turns out that the job for tree removal was big enough that it was better for me and for them to hire Martin Tree Removal.

It was very good. Everything was fine and they did a good job. We had a tree that was falling apart and some of the bushes had been broken down. They came out and fixed the tree without killing it. They took off what had to be and the tree is fine now. It is blooming. They came right at the cost that we had discussed.

The company is well organized and responsive. Their personnel are courteous, reasonably priced and always deliver high quality work on time.

They are always courteous, prompt and very informative. Our lawn had gone to the dogs literally. I don't want to use chemicals. It really is amazing what a good routine of fertilizing and aeration can do to improve it. I don't want a manicured lawn, just a healthy one. Their advice is always informative and thoughtful. I have never felt pressured to do more than is necessary.
