Without speaking to my neighbors, they cut their limbs and the neighbors were furious as they had no idea this was going to happen. I also asked them to save the branches for firewood and that didn't happen either. However, the cleanup they did and the work was well done

I get a bit nervous when purchasing Big Deals because the vendor is often overwhelmed by the response and cannot see you right away or takes a while to return a call. This was not the case here! They reached out to me, responded promptly via email and the appointment took place soon thereafter. We agreed on a fair amount of work: removing a dead tree, fertilizing a few shrubs and another tree along with pruning some existing trees. They showed up for work on time, did excellent and careful work and left me with a nice clean lawn.

They did a great job, and they are probably the best tree service, in terms of technical expertise, with which I have dealt.

I bought a $300 coupon for $140 just to try the company. (The work had to be done by someone in the near future!) The representative came by promptly, was very experienced and pleasant, and honored the coupon I let expire by mistake. I loved SavATree's work. The company did a great job shaping two 30' ornamental trees, removing a dead 10' rhotodendron, pulling out a bush crowding others, and trimming back all the front bushes. Without the coupon, I think the cost would have been high, but I'm glad I paid the higher price because the result was so nice. The supervisor listened well to what was wanted.

They were great and I have no complaints. With out the big deal I would not have been able to afford it. It was an excellent deal and he was excellent. I had no problems at all. If they have that deal, again I would do it. They do really good work.

As expected except that very few trees were covered by the Big Deal so I ended up spending more than I had planned.

OK. Tree trimming was OK, however I had a few bushes/trees to be removed and they just cut them, didn't remove them from the roots or treat them to kill them so they grew back. Speedy response and service. May have been a misunderstanding, but hated to pay for something I could have done myself.

They were fine. I would use them again and they were very nice. I needed the irrigation services because my lawn was spotty and the ground needed to be aerated. Everything was too compacted, but they did it and it was great. It was a nonevent and I'm not even sure I was here when they did it, but it was all done. They were very easy to talk to.

They are perfect, great and responsible. They show up and usually do something extra; they don't penny-pinch, let's put it that way.

They did not contact me after I purchased the service via Angie's List, and it took a few phone calls for them to understand the order. After consultation (they arrived on time), they agreed to reduce a severely overgrown tree in the front yard to keep it away from the house and porch, and to trim back tall arborvitaes (house-high) in the back next to a walk, so that the walk would be passable. They were also to cut out deadwood from the arborvitaes. They arrived on time and used only a modest ladder and small saw on the huge trees. When I went out to check on them, they had gone. The tree had barely been trimmed, and was touching the house again within 2 weeks. The arborvitaes had been minimally trimmed, and the walk was not passable within a few weeks. Deadwood was only removed from 2 of the 4. They billed repeatedly, although I had already paid via Angie's List. They finally replied saying they had had problems with Outlook.

I contacted SavATree due to several concerns that I was having regarding multiple trees on my property. My large birch tree looked distressed and I also had a rather large tree root in my driveway that I was concerned about what would happen to the tree if it was removed during the replacement of the aging driveway. In addition, I needed several trees trimmed back off my house before the winter. The SavATree arborist alleviated my concerns regarding the tree root in the driveway and gave me tips on how it should be removed by the asphalt contractors in order to prevent damage to the tree. He was extemely professional and answered all my questions that I felt confiident to set up a plan with SavATree for the upcomming year to get my birch tree healthy. The tree trimming work was scheduled for within a few weeks from the initial consult and was done professionally as well.

They are a good company. We’ve used them several times and they’ve done good work. They handle working in tight urban environments very well.

Easy process scheduling the initial appointment for a quote, worked directly with the 'arborist' from that point forward and he responded to any and all questions. The crew that showed up on the day to actually do the work reviewed everything verbally with me prior to making any cuts and to ensure everything was correct. Very professional and easy process from start to finish. Even with the Angies List coupon applied their price was a little above some others, but due to the good ratings I was willing to pay a little extra to ensure it was done properly.

Good service, good price with the Groupon but for tree service - pricey

Very well. Completed deal quickly and recommended more services. Lawn Aeration performed well and gave me some education about its use. Additional services seemed a little expensive and ultimately did not sign up.

They are very good. They were pleasant to work with. I would've preferred to have the stumps removed, but it's just an industry standard to not do that any more. I chopped and dug them out myself.

Since I had already purchased the deal, I went ahead and made an appt. The crew arrived on time, and did the work, but certainly not $600.00 worth. I thought perhaps they would return to finish. Not. I called and said they needed to come back and complete the work asked for. 3 rhodedendron bushes. 1 very large, and 2 medium. $600.

I like that they sent email with payment link so I don't need to find check book and look for stamps. Advantage for big chain having some Technology to save cutover some time.

Work was satisfactory, from a non-analytical prospective. Nothing died.

It was great. Very professional. Very accommodating to schedule change. I really liked this service and hope to use them again.

These guys are great. Very friendly, very professional, very thorough. They trimmed our huge pines just before Hurricane Sandy, so we avoided a lot of extra damage during the storm. Lucky us!
