SavATree - Lincoln

Everyone that we met with SavATree - Lincoln was professional, had a great client service attitude, was great to work with, performed the requested services to our satisfaction and with a high degree of quality. We'd recommend SavATree highly.

Probably would not have done the full service without the coupon value because a little high but used them in the past and was pleased with their work before. I had a cherry blossom tree that needed lots of pruning and clean up (too big for me to do) and they basically gave it an total overhaul so it even looks like a different tree but it's my only shade tree which I love to sit under. Trimmed out some very tall yews to be equal in height (too tall for my ladder). Took out all debris from the work done plus more as I was told I could leave some branches, etc. and they would remove. I actually left what I call a little big pile and came home and everything was cleaned up and gone. Great job. If I needed them for future work, I would wait for another coupon offer and would have to save up a bit in order to use their services.

The salesperson, Alton Cole, came out for the estimate and he said it would take about 4.5 hours to complete the project so there would be an additional $155. I agreed because it seemed reasonable to me. They came out for the appointment and were at my home for 50 minutes. I called the company to let them know and told them that I wouldn’t be paying the additional 1.5 hours of work. Alton called me and stated that he would look into it the next week because he was out of the office. I had to call him back. He said that he would adjust the fees but I would still owe $63. I asked for a break down and he stated it was travel time and a few other things. After I spoke with Alton, I called SavATree and asked for a new invoice for the breakdown of the $63 for my records. I expressed to Alton my dismay with the additional $63 since the workers were only here for 50 minutes. The crew was friendly and professional but the business side isn't as professional.

They were very professional just a little pricy.

The Lincoln branch contacted me the very next day. They don't service my area but forwarded my information on the the Middleton branch and let me know that the Middleton branch would be contacting me to schedule service. They also gave me the phone number to the Middleton branch. After waiting a few days for them to call me, I tried to call them. The number is disconnected.

Jim sent someone out to treat the two birch trees and they are looking pretty good so Jim caught it in time. Lincoln SavATree is very knowledgeable and efficient and I will be calling Jim to come out to look at my lilacs as they have a powdery substance on some of the leaves. If anyone can save my trees and shrubs, It is Jim Harshbarger and Lincoln SavATree.

We had used another company to remove trees from our property in the past and called them but they did not return the call. Using Angie's List, we were able to find Sav-A-Tree and read their excellent reviews. When we called them, a lady answered the phone, not a machine. They promptly came to my home and provided an estimate the same day. It was the best price for the service. We had out of town company staying with us and realized the work needed to be done soon to make our property look better but waited until the last minute to call a contractor. When I explained the urgency, they were very responsive and came out immediately. In addition, they cleaned the entire area where all of the bushes had been removed as well as the street where they had parked and some debris had fallen. It was an outstanding experience, unlike what we have experienced before. Because of the positive experience we had, we will be using them for lawn care and other services as well.

They were going to charge more for what seemed like the same stuff. We had a couple of people to come and look at the tree and it is kind of struggling, so it is not good. They came and said that they would come and trim it and fertilize it and someone else came and said that they would trim it, fertilize it and that there was a split in it and so they would cable it, so it doesn't fall during a storm, so SavATree seemed more expensive for the portion that they were going to do. They were responsive and called right back.

They arrived on time, were professional and very courteous. Did an excellent job and did all that I asked of them. Will use them again next time I schedule more pruning.

Had them bid on some tree removal. The arborist who came was excellent, very knowledgeable and helpful. Their quote however was twice that of two other reputable and professional companies for exactly the same work. I would have liked to have used them based on the arborist but I obviously could not justify the price. I was very satisfied with their competitors work that was half the quoted price.

Excellent! Have used them twice, both times in the Fall, followed by a lime application and then again in the Spring. My lawn is healthier, filling in, and looks better than ever! It was a full, albeit old 'tired' lawn and this aeration service brought it new life.

Both the Arborist and tree trimmers were very professional. I appreciated the Arborists expertise and regard for our trees, though some were old and in need of care. Tree trimmers asked my approval as they worked offering to cut more or less as I preferred. I was very happy with the work that was done.

Work was fine. They missed the first two appointments to do it though.

they were very responsive and let time for me to discuss their tree destroying my driveway and roof. i was just going to trim it down and we all got together to pay for that tree. the other trees behind my garage were growing into the garage eaves/roof. those were removed. i was hoping they would have removed the leaves behind the garage, but i did not ask for that - i just assumed clean up would include it. the nice thing is they try their best to save plants - so some trees were left behind the garage as they were posing no issues.

Called for an estimate and received a quick call back. Estimate was scheduled very quickly (within a week). Very professional, everything explained in detail. Job was done within a week of estimate. Crew arrived on time & with the person that gave estimate and we went over again what was going to be done. Arrived home with a very clean job site and completely satisfied with job. Excellent Job!

Responsive to requests of which branches to be cut and good cleanup afterward.

I think the people that came to my house from SavATree did a fine job outside of the fact they thought they should be at my house on Tuesday at 7:30 in the morning which I never would have scheduled although he said that was the time agreed upon. I was surprised he said I agreed upon this time because I had other plans. Also, I thought we were going to get $300 worth of shrub maintenance but the total bill was more expensive and he just took off the $300 from the total bill. I thought the people that did the work did a professional job.

The estimate was done thanks to a neighbor who contacted SavAtree. They sent me the estimate via e-mail, and I authorized the work to start. They started the work on the time and day as promised. The work was completed as promised. All debris from the tree was removed, the yard was left cleaned up. Excellent work.

It went very well. We would definitely use SavATree again. Very responsive, thorough and easy to work with.

SavATree - Lincoln has been the best experience we've had with Angie's List, the entire opposite of people who we contacted before. I would highly recommend them with a 100% confidence. I like their professionalism, experience and service.

They complete the job in one day and cleaned up the trimmings very well.

I got immediate telephone response and they came out around ten days later. First thing they did was to use a chain saw to cut close to ground were the trees were still connected. They then used a cable and wench to pull the trees down and over to the chipper. They put the trees right into the chipper and ground them up and took them away. Took them around an hour and 45 minutes.. They cleaned up and did great job. The only reason I gave them a 4 for quality is the trees they were leaning against split in the Y the trees were leaning against. This did not bother them. I don't know if the trees were like that before they pulled the dead trees off of them. I am going to wait until we have a snow storm to see if they hold up. I am a little concerned. I did let them know that they were not to more than the deal was for i.e.$300 They honored this and quit after about an hour and 45 minutes. They were very polite and professional and had some great ndustrial strength equipment. .

Jim came out to give me an estimate on a Tuesday. He was prompt, courteous, and professional. His crew was there within two days to do the work (which I needed done quickly!). I would definitely hire them again.

SavATree lets me know when they are coming to the house, what type of treatment they'll be doing, and if they don't come that day they always leave a message when they'll come back. You always have the option to talk to someone immediately during the recorded message. Ben walks around the yard with me to decide the best approach to fit my needs and geared toward my personalized landscape. They all wear uniforms and a marked car so they identify themselves. They are informative with charts, charges, and signs. They are very professional, very knowledgeable, very friendly, very clean, they answer any questions, and they know their chemicals. They send a statement of any type of chemical they use which are eco-friendly. They have also given me referrals. I'm going to continue my service with SavATree because they're wonderful and my lawn is perfect.

Jim and his crew are wonderful. My birch trees were taken care of the next day and they are thriving nicely. About a week later a crew came to prune the rest of the trees and bushes and I was certain some of the bushes would have to be replaced as they were in pretty bad shape from the storm and from us just leaving them like that over the winter. They did such a wonderful job that I did not have to replace any of the lilacs or other bushes and they actually got them looking like they were never damaged at all. I do not know how they did it but it is certainly a success story. As far as the birch trees are concerned they flourished nicely the rest of the summer and Jim had advised me to watch for any more dead branches but I guess we caught it in time. However, Jim called me to watch the trees in the spring when the leaves begin to come out and if I notice any dead branches to call him and he would give them another treatment. He even offered to come out himself to look at them if I was not sure, which I do appreciate. All in all, Lincoln SavATree deserves an A++++++.
