It was great. They trimmed the trees.

We had Sav a Tree out to give us a bid on some tree work that we need completed. The job is a bit tricky because of the location and size of the tree. The Sav a Tree representative was honest and forthright that takedown jobs were not their specialty and that the job would not be a good fit. We appreciated their honesty and their desire to give us the information we needed. We would certainly call them for the health and maintenance of existing landscape.

It turned out good. Everything went smoothly with the scheduling.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service. They are very professional and keep in touch. I have used them subsequently for other services and they are always very good. I have used them for fertilization and spraying as well. They are attentive and are easy to contact. They are good at keeping in contact and are excellent providers. I particularly like working with Stefan, the arborist.

I had used them before in the fall to prune, as well. There were no problems and they are very good. If you phone them up they are very responsive.

.It went great and they did a good job. They did everything that I asked them to do. The price was good with the discount. I would use them again.

The arborist, Mr. Alton Cole, is a pleasure to work with. He is detail-oriented, quick-witted, and has a nice sense of humor. We contacted him originally via an Angie's List Big Deal which saved us about $100.00 when compared with the competition who also gave us a price quotation. Because we live slightly out of the normal business range of Sav-A-Tree it took them a little longer than expected to make the trip out to see us. The crew left the area broom-clean and were eager to ensure our needs and expectations were met. We would happily use their services again.

They were supposed to do a good deal of tree work, but they never performed the service. I called back about the lack of movement on the trimming and was told the Arborist was on vacation but that he would get it done upon his return. They did show up to do a fertilizer treatment, but never followed through on what I truly wanted done, which was cleaning up some large old trees on our property. As far as I can tell, the fertilizer service went fine. A very disappointing experience.

Overall the work went well. We were happy with the results. But we landed up spending a lot more than we had anticipated mainly because SavAtree's pricing was much higher than their competition. We do not plan on using them again, unless there is a huge promotion.

Carefully analyzed the condition and discussed what they were going to do, very articulate and serious approach. This was for a very overgrown old cherry tree. Rook a while to schedule the visit, but yhe work was done well and they did not leave a mess behind.

It went very well. The company was very responsive. Matt Gulla did a very thorough job of explaining the details of the task as we walked around the property. He noticed that previous tie-ups were strangling the trees and cutting into the bark. The crew would fix that. It convinced me that all the work he described was necessary and Savatree would do a professional job. He wanted a deposit right away but I wanted to think about it. Also I was purchasing an Angie's deal and wanted to figure out the true cost. I would have wanted to be home on the scheduled day to watch the work but the crew couldn't adjust the schedule when I had a change in my schedule. I was very impressed that Matt came back to talk to me when I called with questions. We had discussed trimming some of the bushes along the back fence and it wasn't clear to me what was done. Because the company did a good prune (and not a buzz cut job) I was happy with it. My only disappointment was that there was a torn branch on the dogwood tree right outside my bathroom window. He said that the crew had trimmed the branches of the dogwood back from the hedge and that was all. He said it looked like that branch had been torn. I was surprised he didn't offer to trim it. I would have appreciated it if they had taken care of the torn branch. Every time I see it I feel disappointed about that little detail. But overall the work was excellent.

I was pleased with the actual work they did on the trees. My problem with this company is that all of their communication is via e-mail. I was never contacted by them after I purchased the special. I finally contacted them and then made a date for what I thought was the tree work. I expected a large truck to show up, but instead a car pulled up with a man from the company,to look over what I needed to be done. I suppose it makes sense, but I wasn't informed of that. I showed him what I wanted to be done and was disappointed to find that it was going to cost and extra $100. After the job was done, I didn't receive a bill for the extra $100.until two months later.I was aggravated to see that I was being charged a late fee. I have since realized that they only communicate via e-mail, not phone or regular mail. I am not a big internet user, so for me this was a problem. Now that I have a bill I will pay it, and the late fee, but I will not use this company again. They definitely have a problem communicating with their customers. This is the second time that I have purchased a special from Angie's List, both times were not good experiences. I don't plan on purchasing a special again.

Overall, they did an excellent job. The only reason I gave them a "B" for quality is that they could not remove all the debris, because some was frozen into the ground. Not their fault, obviously, but we still have some clean-up to do. They were very responsive and communicated well about when the work would be performed. Under the circumstances, they did the best job that could be done.

I spent a considerable amount of money on landscaping to preserve my privacy. Each Spring, I request that my SavATree consultant evaluate the condition of my trees. We set up a plan that I can afford and if additional concerns arise, I ask for my assigned consultant to look at the specimen (s) with me again. I have never been disappointed with their response to my concerns. The cost above reflects only part of the program I have chosen.

Their service is excellent and we continue to use them. They are always on time, clean up well, and I have no complaints with the service.

I have hired SavATree twice, for two different locations. The first time I contacted SavATree, they asked if I had purchased the coupon yet. I hadn't because I wanted to see if what needed to be done was within my budget. They were able to set my appointment before the offer would expire. Both arborist arrived on time for our appointments, to discuss what was needed. Everyone has been professional and helpful. Adjusting the work to stay within budget. Probably due to the coupon, scheduling the work to be done took a bit longer than expected. I chose not to deduct for this, (in the responsiveness category). Once scheduled, they arrived on time and completed the work agreed upon. The workers, also checked with me as the worked. I think part of the "quality" will be determined by how everything grows come the spring.

The company was responsive in making initial estimate. It took a while to schedule and get the actual service done. The results of the service were good.

They cut down dead tree and pruned dead wood. Best of all they saved a tree leaning over our house by attaching a wire between two limbs. Another tree company wanted to cut it down

I used an Angie's list coupon purchased before the job was bid, so I was committed to the provider before the fact. Contact was punctual and professional. Work was scheduled and performed quickly. Since I didn't comparison shop, I'm not sure how the price compared to that of other contractors.

They did a fine job. Brought the truck and chipper into the backyard. They honored the AngiesList discount. They made good recommendations about pet care, vines, trees and shrubs. The arborist was knowledgeable and the workers were good. Good experience.

All went fabulously. They were easy to work with, clear communicators, and did excellent, clean work. The office there was actually the one to tell me about the angie's list deal - so total cost was actually 190 for 350 worth of work. Work was done promptly and thoroughly. They will be back in the spring to treat some hemlocks we have. The previous owners had used them and recommended them. Stefan (from Sav A Tree) was very helpful on his visit and walked the whole property with explaining what had been done and what would be needed.
