Description of Work: Rick was fine to talk to, but the quote that was provided is not something that they would honor. I was told that the quote was mis-entered, but to take time out of the office expecting one number and having that switched by $400 at the time of meeting is something that bugged me. | |I can understand the not wanting to honor a quote when it is going to wind up costing someone money, but a negotiated price based on that where both lose out a bit wouldn't have been opposed. No worries, but I probably won't come back for quotes in the future.

Description of Work: They removed a large oak stump that was intruding on the driveway, removed the broken concrete surface of driveway, laid down adequate base on which the pavers were laid, created small flower bed between driveway and walkway that extends from house to sidewalk. Well done.

Description of Work: We found this company at the local home show in Wilmington, MA. Our old concretre driveway (110 X 9' approx.) was cracked and broken up and we feared a broken ankle if we did nothing. So we worked with Ian Forman of Premier Pavers on a project that used 5X10" permeable pavers--that is, there is a joint between the pavers that allows water to drain down into the material below. We are situated on 18 feet of clay, thanks to the last glaciation that formed the Boston Basin, so after they removed the existing concrete they took the base down several feet before putting in several layers of stone and gravel, with landscaping cloth between layers. The project was tricky because the driveway wasn't parallel with anything. But they managed to make it come out looking fantastic. The best part was the way they finished off the edges, including a large granite slab at the top of our basement steps and brick soldier rows along the lawn, etc. We are satisfied that we got a great driveway that will be safer, easier to clean and add value to our property, and that the price, given the extensive labor involved, was fair. We recommend this company highly.

Description of Work: Premier Pavers and Hardscape Co. put in a brick herringbone patio and asphalt in our long narrow driveway. Both projects totaled over one thousand feet. The price for both areas was fair compared to the research we had done on pricing for the project. We were so impressed with their hard work and the professional way that they handled the job. The workers stayed working for over 12 hours for two days and the heat the second day was 91 degrees by midafternoon, but they continued into the evening hours to finish the job. We would certainly recommend them to anyone interested . They were all pleasantand Ian Forman the owner and and Bob Berkquistt, the job manager, were very helpful to in choosing the products for the job. We are so pleased with the outcome. Description of Work: They took out a piece of concrete on the corner of my lot and graded the lot. They also delivered loam to my house to fill in the space where the concrete was.
