They were good. They told us when they were going to come and let us know if they were going to be late. They did a good job and it looks seamless. They also gave a very close estimate.

He did it timely and he did it well. His responsiveness was good. He did good work for the price that he charged.

He reminded me of the old time workers. He was very meticulous. He took a lot of pride in his work. He picked out some very special bricks for the top which look very nice. He had wonderful ideas for solving our problems. The people working with him were also like he was.

He was on time, efficient, and was within the estimate he quoted.

Another company is coming out 3/19 to provide estimate.

Charlie is one of the best contractors I've ever used! I called on a Wed. he came by the same day to look at the job, he started work on Fri. and finished up on Mon. He explained the work in detail and took the time to answer every question I had. He gave me a cell number and an evening number so he was easy to reach. He returned calls the same day. A total of 4 workers worked on the site. All of them were efficient and tidy workers, taking care to cover everything in plastic and moving storage boxes out of the way. They swept the floor when they were done and left the site cleaner than they found it. Charlie noticed that a dehumidifier that had been installed by someone else was missing oiling tubes. Without my asking, he called the manufacturer to order replacements. When he was told oiling tubes were no longer being used, Charlie called me back after the job was done, to explain what the service dept. had told him. Everyone on the job was friendly and an expert.

The work was performed in a timely, efficient and organized manner, with great attention to detail. Clean up every day was excellent. The crew was professional and pleasant. I am very pleased with the result! This was not the least expensive estimate, but I feel I got excellent value, as well as thorough, honest and intelligent advice with respect to the best way to efficiently achieve my goals with the space. This contractor exceeded my expectations in every category of experience.

Ronchetti Waterproofing had a better price than the one other estimate I got. I think the price was in line and ok. I would highly recommend them, in a heart beat. I liked listening to the foreman singing Italian opera.

Very well. Had estimates from 3 companies. Other 2 were professional basement waterproofing companies (the type that aren't also masons). Ronchetti is an experienced mason, which is what digging a French drain consists of. The other companies have very fancy tubing, but it just seemed like either more than what we needed (our basement isn't high-end finished) or wasn't really necessary. His price was about $1,000 less than the others when you compare apples to apples. (The other 2 said I had to remove a soapstone sink because they couldn't drill under it; cost of replacing it and plumbing work was about $1,500; I like my 80 year old soapstone sink and didn't want it replaced). His employees were nice and respectful. Work took 1 week (Mon-Fri) with about 3 guys working (they split their crew between my and another house nearby). Be aware that the work is very loud and messy.

Charlie replied promptly to my original call describing the job. He was professional. He came out to our house and discussed the job with me via phone, walking the property. His recommendations were mixed relative to the other masons I had out to view the job (in total I had about six masons out to see the job). He was spot on with our addition and the level of detail he recommended concerning the job was impressive. He pointed out a number of ways to save money and which jobs were the priority. However, he missed some details in the front steps that some of the other masons had caught, and his price to repair the retaining wall was high. However, he was professional and accommodating, going so far as to offer to return to the property to discuss his take on the job in person. I think he would have done a fine job had I not had my highest confidence in a competitor. Recommended.

When I booked Charlie, he gave me an approximate date several months away. About two weeks before he was supposed to be in touch, he called and asked if he could start in the next day or two. We were of course glad to get the work done as soon as possible so we could start using our fireplace. Charlie and his crew arrived on time on the specified day. They worked steadily when they were there, which was weather dependent. The work was also done around Thanksgiving so there were several days of inactivity. However, they were very neat, courteous, and professional the entire time. We are very happy with the work. They were able to reuse most of the bricks, and any new bricks were carefully placed in with the older ones so that they aren't at all obvious when looking at the chimney. You would never know the bricks weren't all the same vintage. My only complaint, if you can call it that, is that the work (chimney plus other minor repairs) took fully twice as long as the estimate.

Mr. Ronchetti was booked for months when we first called him, but he made an effort to accommodate us. He stayed within his estimate. His men worked hard and did a very good job. Before they came, we had water in the basement with every hard rain. Now we don't; it's been well-tested. They solved our problem, and we have a twenty-year guarantee. We are very pleased with the results.

After a rough start, meaning trying to get Mr. Ronchetti to my house for an estimate, the whole experience was great. Charles Ronchetti is extremely knowledgeable about what he does and how he does it. He is a man of his word and does excellent service. After getting 6 different estimates, I chose Ronchetti because of the years of expertise and the fact that they are also masons. The work was scheduled for sometime in Nov. but was completed in early Nov. because I was on their rain day list. The crew were courteous, on-time, and cleaned up completely each day. The work took 3 days, and Mr. Ronchetti came out one day to answer questions and put a few items back on cinder blocks, as they had been prior to the work. I found the company to be honest, hard working, and so far am completely satisfied with the work done. I do not expect any problems, and if so, I know that Charles Ronchetti will come out to the house himself to investigate and work out a solution.

Highly skilled & pleasant to deal with.

The company owner was very responsive, and so far we are very pleased. The work is not cheap, but then, it does involve substantial demolition. Waterproofing will be about 2000 we expect. The work is warranted and the warranty belongs to the house however, so we are confident that we will be getting good value. The owner has appeared in person both times and is intelligent, reasonable, does not leave you feeling that you are being taken advantage of.

Charles was communicative and did exactly what he said he was going to do. If I needed masonry work again, I would call Ronchetti Waterproofing.

After some steady rain we have not had one drop of water leak in since.

They called me back one day after I left a message. Based in Lexington, they don't service Littleton, which is only 18 miles from Lexington. Their limited service area is why I rate them a C.

I scheduled an appointment with this company one week ago. I gave them my address and was told Charles would be at my house at 1pm. At 9am I was told that Charles was running late and would be at my house at 1:30. I left work to be home by 1:30pm. At 1:35pm I received a call from Charles saying he did not service my area. Needless to say, this was not professional and quite inconsiderate.

One of best people we've worked with in terms of returning calls and keeping in touch to update it is on scheduling work.

THE WORK WAS SCHEDULED FOR ABOUT A MONTH LATER AND HE AND THE CREW CAME AS SCHEDULED. THE CREW, MANAGED BY CARMELO, WERE THOUGHTFUL AND TIDY, AND EASY TO COMMUNICATE WITH.

I WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH CHARLEY. HE CAME OUT TO LOOK AT THE JOB AND DID A GREAT JOB EXPLAINING WHAT WAS GOING ON, AND WHAT MY OPTIONS WERE FOR REPAIRING IT. AS WELL AS THE BASEMENT, I HAD HIM LOOK AT MY FRONT STEPS AND HE HAD SOME GREAT IDEAS ABOUT HOW TO FIX THEM UP. HE WASN'T AFRAID EITHER TO TELL ME THAT SOMETHING WASN'T PRESSING, OR WOULD BE TOO EXPENSIVE TO PROBABLY BE WORTH IT. ONE OF CHARLEY'S MEN DID THE ACTUAL WORK. HE WAS POLITE, PROMPT, AND DID A GREAT JOB INCLUDING CLEANING UP. THE BASEMENT WAS CLEANER WHEN HE LEFT THAN WHEN HE ARRIVED. CHARLEY ALSO CHECKED IN ON THE JOB A COUPLE OF TIMES DURING THE DAY. THERE WAS A SMALL SPOT I NOTICED THE NEXT DAY WHERE THE MORTAR HAD FALLEN INTO A BLOCK. I CALLED THEM THAT FRIDAY, AND MONDAY MORNING THEY CAME BACK AND PATCHED IT AGAIN. I WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH THEIR PROFESSIONALISM, AND I INTEND TO USE THEM WHEN I DO DECIDE TO REPAIR MY FRONT STEPS.
