Description of Work: My sump pump wouldn't stop running. They suggested a replacement and were able to squeeze me in two days later to complete the work. They were flexible and the actual replacement took less than 30 minutes.

Description of Work: After a tough winter, our brick pathway was buckled and unsafe. They re-set the brick so that it was flush and safe. It looks great!

Description of Work: I have a storm drain with 2 pumps that broke down. Ronchetti came in and replaced the pumps and make a few adjustments so I wouldn't have any more problems. I wish I had known about him 25 years ago when the original pumps were installed. I would've avoided many sleepless nights and thousands in flood damage. I would highly recommend him. He's very busy, so you have to be a little patient with him.

Charlie & crew are in high demand likely because of their down-to-earth, get the job done attitude. | |Our basement was a mess, the slab was torn up, the bricks along the perimeter of the foundation were in rough shape, and we had a couple of holes (where there mortar had simply crumbled away and bricks has come dislodged. | |The crew put in a brand new slab, sealed the walls with, installed a French drain around the interior perimeter, and rebuilt our bulkhead (including installing a brand new door - at our request). | |They came back after the work was complete to make sure they tidied up where concrete splattered, and to reinstall insulation that they had to remove during the work. | |It's only been a few days since installation was completed, but you can already feel the difference. | |

Description of Work: I was very impressed with Ronchetti Masonry and Waterproofing. We had some seepage issues in our basement. The first guy who looked at it wanted to sell us his sump pump system without really doing much examination of the root cause of the seepage. Mr. Ronchetti was more concerned about helping us identify the source of the issue than selling us an expensive product / service, and ultimately said he thought it was a pin leak in our water main. He suggested we have the city come take a look. They did, and indeed that was the issue. If he had been on the city's list of approved contractors for the required repair work, I would have used him. If we ever have water issues in our basement again I will be calling Mr. Ronchetti.

Description of Work: I recently purchased a house with a french drain system; however, the system didn't work 100%. I contacted this contractor to evaluate the situation and received a very prompt response. The evaluation was comprehensive, although I opted to pursue only a subset of their suggested improvements. I thought the price was fair and in the end, the actual cost was less (how often does that happen??). Getting an appointment after the evaluation took a number of phone calls, but in fairness to the contractor, there was a lot of flooding and many storms at the time and I suspect they were very very busy. Since the work was done - even with extraordinary rain fall - there have been no further problems.

Description of Work: They replaced flashing on the chimney due to an inadequate flashing job by a previous contractor (done by the prior owner of the house).

Description of Work: I called them because a foundation wall in my basement is leaking. After leaving a message they called me back after a few days to tell me why they could not fix my problem in South Boston (there isn't anywhere to put the water that is leaking in). They couldn't help me but they were nice about it.
