Description of Work: I got an estimate for a roof replacement. Michael was wonderful. His estimate was very fair and he gave details of the work that would be done. It so happens that my son had the roof replaced as a gift to me when I went out of town on vacation. I planned to have Michael do the job. I will hire him to do other work for me in the future. I was impressed with him.

Description of Work: We have used Leary Contracting for years for snow removal. His prices are a bit high, but I think the norm for Lexington. His crew is reliable and they do a good job (our driveway is difficult to do since we have no garage and therefore have to move the cars from the driveway so that it can be plowed. It is somewhat steep and rather narrow, so they also have to be creative in finding places to put the snow. This is the worst winter that we have had to deal with in my memory, and we were overall pleased with their service. We would recommend them. Their prices depend on the size of the storm: under 10" $52; between 10" and 18" $78; over 18" $104

Description of Work: Removed two layers of old roofing and installed a new roof, including new vents, ice/water shield, and Certainteed shingles.

Description of Work: We had our roof replaced and, as part of that process, replaced fascia board in preparation for another vendor coming in to install a gutter system. Mr. Leary was very cooperative and met with the gutter installer to review specifications and plans. The estimate provided was detailed and Mr. Leary was very willing to discuss any items and details of the job or the estimate. Once the agreement was established there was no further discussion of price or deviation from the original plan. The fascia board replacement and roofing installation went as planned. Mr. Leary's crew showed up on time and completed the work that was planned for each day of the job. After the work was completed, cleanup was immaculate. A couple of months after the installation we had peen plagued with ice dams in one of the worst stretches of winter weather that we had experienced in many years. We called upon Mike to help out and clear ice dams. Despite a backlog of requests, Mike sent a crew to clear an inaccessible roof area. In fact, we did not even discover that they had come and gone until several days later. My only dissatisfaction with this part of the job is that, in the process of clearing those dams a section of my newly installed gutter was damaged and I was not notified. While this may have been unavoidable, I still should have been informed.
