BA in Business Management PASSIONATE about helping others live clutter-free! I generally perform the work myself. It is my experience that some parts of the job call for more hands. As the need arises, I will locate appropriate personnel and supervise their activity. FREE initial phone consultation (up to 20 minutes). Job cost will vary based upon level of work to be performed, supplies sourced and/or furnished, setup/supervision of donation(s), storage, junk removal, for additional personnel and travel/emergency fee(s) as applicable. Deposit is required in advance; this will hold the times we schedule to do your work. Travel fee TBD for round-trip of 25 or more miles. Emergency fee of $150 may apply. GLOWING references!!

I'm a pack rat so I save everything & that resulted in a completely unusable space. I loosely referred to it as my craft room. My husband more appropriately referred to it as "the dump". Linda came in & didn't do the work for me. It was a joint effort hut she kept the ball rolling gently forcing me to eyeball everything & make a realistic choice about whether I would ever use it again or should we get rid of it. I wanted to hold on to everything but she repeatedly reminded me of my goal & the space that I wanted to have which helped me purge & let go of items I would realistically never use again. It took us 3 days & many bags of trash later but I have a beautifully organized REAL craft room now! My husband even put in a new ceiling (it's located in the basement) and we even hung a mini chandelier! Now I need to get Linda to help me with my kitchen cupboards! She's very talented with organization skills & is very adept at motivation as well!!
Description of Work: She helped clear out basement & sort items to be kept, donated or thrown away. Then she helped me organize all that I wanted to keep into appropriate labeled containers. The difference in the space was night & day! She helped me take a completely unorganized & unusable space and transformed it into an efficiently organized usable craft room!! She is extremely professional, friendly & able to gently push me which helped me be able to purge & make possible the beautiful space that resulted from our efforts.

I found that Linda can work very independently, yet was able to follow what was important to me. If there was a question about something, she would put it aside until she could ask about it. Often, someone who doesn't know sewing or fabric, may think that a little tool means nothing, she was able to distinguish what was important, and ask if she wasn't sure. Linda has years of office and admin experience and her personality is that she loves to keep things clean and organized. I am a creative person, and put more time and energy into my teaching and projects, and she was able to create a system I have been able to maintain. If things do get out of hand, she has been willing to come in and put them back in order for me. She has a great sense of humor, and a strong work ethic.
Description of Work: I have used Linda's services over a period of time (over 9 mos.) She has organized my office for my business, my workspace and has even helped me with scheduling my classes. Whenever I need some help, she has been ready to lend a hand. Linda asked what I wanted, she evaluated the space and my needs, and found a place for everything, and a practical way for me to work with it.
