+ -1 moreSummary: I played phone tag with Joe for a long time. We ended up hiring someone else. Longer version: The one time we did get in contact he quoted me $1 sq. ft. for buffing and 1-2 coats of polyurethane on our floors. When we did talk he said to call him after our closing to confirm a date. Since our closing we never were able to get in contact with each other. I left messages with my cell phone number and he kept calling my office (when I was on vacation). We ended up going with someone else. I feel a bit bad because he seemed nice and a colleague recommended him, but I guess these things happen.

+ -1 moreJOE BOMBARRO WAS VERY EASY TO WORK WITH. DIDN''T ARRIVE UNTIL I WAS READY TO LEAVE FOR WORK, CLEANED UP MOST OF THE DUST EACH DAY. THE JOB TOOK 4 DAYS, BUT I WAS ABLE TO WALK ON THE FLOORS BY EVENING EACH DAY, SO I DIDN''T NEED TO MOVE OUT. THE ONLY PROBLEM WAS A SMALL SPOT ON ONE OF THE FLOORS THAT THEY ''MISSED'' WHEN GIVING A FINAL COAT, BUT JOE WAS VERY WILLING TO COME BACK AND FIX IT WHEN I NOTIFIED HIM.
Description of Work: THEY SANDED AND REFINISHED OLD WIDE PINE FLOORS IN LIVING ROOM, DINING ROOM, STAIRS, HALLWAY AND BEDROOM. ALSO REPLACED A THRESHOLD.

+ -1 moreI GOT VERY FAST TURNAROUND - MAYBE MY TIMING WAS JUST GOOD. THEY WERE PUNCTUAL AND POLITE, AND VERY NICE ABOUT WORKING AROUND A COUPLE OF BIG PIECES OF FURNITURE WHICH I COULD NOT MOVE OUT OF THE ROOM BY MYSELF. I AM VERY PLEASED WITH THE RESULTS.
Description of Work: LAID DOWN PRE-FAB 2'' RED OAK IN 3 ROOMS, AND SANDED/POLYURETHANED EXISTING RED OAK FLOORING IN 2 SMALL HALLWAYS.
