On August 19 I emailed owner asking if we are still on for Aug. 24th, and he responds to me on 8/21/14 that he can't make it on August 24th but without offering an alternate date or an apology. The owner apparently doesn't understand why I am not happy that he can't show up on August 24th when I sent him my deposit on June 19th. Owner offers to return my deposit to me deposit on August 21st. I said that I would prefer to have the work done actually (and I have the email to prove it). Again, I didn't hear from him for another week so I sent an email saying that I assuming my deposit will be returned to me soon. On Sept. 1 owner finally emails me that the check will be mailed out at the end of the week-again not acceptable that I should wait for my own money. On September 9, owner emails me that check was mailed on 9/814. I emailed him various times informing him that I had not received my check and that I wanted it hand delivered to me on 9/13/14. I do not think I should wait 3 weeks or more to have my deposit returned to me. However, it is 9/16/14 and the check that was allegedly mailed to me on 9/8/14 has not reached me. Owner has been incredibly rude to me through this entire ordeal. Owner emailed me asking me to stop emailing him when I am asking for my money back-again, I have an email to prove it. Be warned. Owner is a scammer. I hired him because he didn't have any reviews online (good or bad).
