1. Basement floods when ground is saturated and it rains or snow melts. 2. Windows not installed correctly - move inside of structure 3. Contractor substitutied windows without authorization - and falsely stated they were of higher quality. 4. Siding not installed correctly - buckling and nails popping out, loose in areas, J channel allows water behind siding 5. Stairs not installed correctly, railings loose, nails sticking out - 90% of all railings are split from nail gun set to too high of a pressure. Non pressure treated wood close to the ground 6. Charging us repeatedly for items we already paid for or items that were part of our original structure 7. Put a fraudulent Lien on our home 8. Wouldn't allow us to write checks that exceeded $9,999.00 9. Foundation walls not sealed correctly - water comes through walls, along seams between old and new foundation, and up between flooring and footings 10. Contractor broke bottom bolts off of bulkhead during installation and damaged foundation walls 11. Rear Sliding door installed incorrectly and won't close all the way - very difficult to latch. 12. Basement Step contains 6 pieces of wood - Doesn't touch the floor completely, and against building code 13. Foundation floor doesn't cover footings, no polyethene installed between floor and gravel - Foundation floor is also cracking in numerous areas 14. Card Board in foundation going from inside foundation to outside of foundation. 15. Contractor refused to pair correctly and put a fraudulent lien on our home after we gave him a estimate of what it will cost to repair all the damage he has done. 16. Had un-licensed and Uninsured people and contractor working for him - even though he signed an Affidavit for the State stating he had no workers and no subcontractors working for him 17. Massachusetts Department of Safety wrote him up for numerous building code violations - suspending his license. 18. Massachusetts Consumer Affairs Office found him guilty of breaking MA laws, and fined him $4,000 of contract violations, and other things. 19. We don't pass building code. 20. We have over $39K in repairs
Description of Work: We hired Mr Breau as a licensed professional to build our 2 addtions on our home - 3 Season Porch, and Family room with full basement. We expected them to at least meet or Exceed building code and they fail
