This was a first rate job. The response was prompt and professional. Brian came to the house, explained everything and tailored the system to our needs. He performed the installation himself and went through the details. A great thing is the sense of responsibility that Brian has to his work. He is always available for help. The only question we had concerned the itemized quote. All alarm company estimates that I saw were presented as detailed itemized quotes, without a final total. This appears to be the industry standard, because the final cost depends on your ultimate choice of options. It can also appear deceptively low. The bill from Millenium was exactly as estimated, but the ins and outs of navigating through it to reach the final price was somewhat difficult. I would do exactly what we've done again, but I recommend having them give a clear total for each set of options before you start. That said, Brian an Millenium lived up their outstanding Angie's list rating. I would use them again without reservation.

We contacted Brian based on previous reviews on Angielist. He was one of several bids that we considered. We were very comfortable with Brian. He explained everything that we needed, even steering us away from redundant features that we had originally wanted. His price was very competetive, matching features with all the other quotes. On the day of the installation, he came and spent the whole day at our home. Despite a knee injury, he completed everything as promised, and spent time going over all the features in details. Since then, we accidentally set off the system and the monitoring company called immediately. We were impressed with Brian and with the subsequent response. We would highly recommend Millenium Alarm.

Millennium Alarm was a pleasure to work with. Brian provided some great explanations on the phone, were prompt in providing an estimate, and performed everything in a timely/high quality manner. Throughout the process I felt like I was well informed and enabled to make decisions, with no sales pressure to do one thing or another. I especially like the fact that Millennium Alarm does not believe in long term contracts. Overall, I was very impressed with Brian and would highly recommend Millennium Alarm.

Jim was punctual, professional, and personable. He made sure I understood the product he was selling and didn't oversell anything. We had been burgled the previous week, and I appreciated that he didn't try taking advantage of our sense of vulnerability. He did all of the installation himself in a few hours. It was completed without a glitch. He trained me very patiently on the use of the system and responded promptly when I had follow-up questions the next day. In fact, his responses were prompt and informative both before and after the installation: before giving him the job I had solicited other estimates and called him repeatedly with additional questions about the product and features I was getting into. His prices were comparable to others and slightly lower when considered over a 3-year contract period that others companies required. I was very impressed with the overall experience and will gladly recommend him to others.

It was excellent. They came in on time. They were not here all day. They caught me up on any questions, and handled any request that I had. They were professional.

I had a fault in my alarm system. I replaced one of the sensors myself, but that did not fix the problem. I called my alarm company (which is not Millennium) to come out and take a look but their rates were outrageous. So I called Brian to see if he could take a look. He said that he doesn't normally work on competitor's systems, but was in the neighborhood so could stop by and see if it was an easy fix. Brian was able to quickly identify the problem and fix it. He was polite and professional. When my contract is up with my current alarm company I will give him a call.

We found Millennium Alarm on Angie's, but looked at several others before deciding. Pricing was reasonable, and the contractor and support staff were knowledgeable and answered questions and made suggestions that made sense for our system. The contractor was punctual, cleaned up after himself, and spent an appropriate amount of time explaining the Do's and Don'ts of our system. When we accidentally turned off the power at the breaker the next day, we got a phone call, as expected... Overall, a great experience!

Brian and Millennium have been fantastic from start to finish. My appointment to have Brian come to do an estimate was fast. He was the consummate professional. He provided me with suggestions for what my home needed to be secure and didn't sell me what I didn't need. In fact, I asked for additional items that I specifically wanted. There is no hard sell, just good information. He was great with follow-up questions. Scheduling was easy and he was prompt. The install was done in a matter of hours. He was tidy and professional during the install. I even received a certificate of installation and monitoring in the mail for my homeowner's insurance, and I didn't even have to ask. Brian and his staff have been wonderful to work with!

Brian was very helpful and sold just just what we needed - nothing more and nothing less. He was very easy to work with and we would recommend him to our friends if we had the chance.

Initial consult was relaxed and very information. Brian is fantastic, doesn't try to sell any particular package to you; explains the benefits and disadvantages of certain options and lets you make up your own mind. After meeting Brian, I understood all the positive reviews on the list and did not feel the need to get a competitive proposal. He was running late the day of installation and his office informed me of the delay promptly; I very much appreciated that as punctuality is a big deal for me. Installation was smooth and the work top notch. I was nervous about snaking of wires and if there would be any damage to walls, etc., those were apparently unfounded fears, Brian's work appears that the installation was done prior to the walls having Sheetrock and being plastered. Would enthusiastically recommend to friends and family!

Brian, the president, did the quote, install, and follow up for our alarm, and I'm thrilled! He was a little behind for our first appointment but called when he realized he was going to be 10 minutes late - very courteous and professional. Once he arrived, he quickly checked out our existing system and said he could use it with some reprogramming. I couldn't have been happier because I was worried we'd have to rip out the existing ADT stuff and replace it with all new. But, Brian got it all sorted out, quickly and easily, and now we don't have to throw money at ADT (who has some sketchy contracts - beware!) We've been living with our new alarm for a couple months now and it's nice peace of mind. Our housekeeper set it off last week, by accident, and they called me immediately with a report of the problem and cleared everythign out once I knew what was going on. So, good to know Millennium is watching out for us!

Their price was very good and they were very professional. The owner of the company did the work himself. He was prompt and we are very pleased with his work.

When Brian came by to give us an estimate of the alarm system, we quite impressed by his professionalism. He was punctual, took time to answer our questions, and did not try to sell us extra. We picked his company because we wanted one who could provide great service for the next few years (we subscribed to their monitoring service). When it was time to install the alarm, he did an excellent job and kept the work area clean. He even came back again one week later to bring us extra signs/stickers on a snow day. We were quite happy with their service.

Brian Catino, Millennium Alarm, came to our home and reviewed our ADT system. He suggested changes and additions and after receiving his quuote, my husband and I discussed our needs. Brian was practical and understanding, not super salesman! We accepted his proposal and he performed the work within the week. He was very plesasant to have around and has a very professional, competent manner. My husband and I feel we are now well protected by our alarm update and that we have a reliable person we can call on should we have any problems. Unfortunately, we knew the installer who installed the ADT system in our home. Sadly, it didn't make a difference, he installed poorly and we had numerous problems with the ADT system. When we called to have it rectified they couldn't do anything about it. It became clear that once they sell and install their system they no longer have an interest in their customer. We didn't want to make that mistake again, and we feel confident in our decision with Millennium Alarm.

This is an excellent company to work with, the price is better than big name security companies and you get someone who knows his work and care

We had been meaning to install a security system since we bought our home 2 years ago but hadn't gotten around to it. So, of course, we were robbed. The next day we did some research on alarm companies, called Millennium, and Brian very promptly returned our call and scheduled an appointment for the next day. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and smart, we got his estimate the very next day, and immediately scheduled the installation. The day of the installation, he arrived promptly, worked quickly, and had everything set up in a few hours. When there was a slight problem with one of the motion detectors in the basement (the heat from a water pipe accidentally set it off that night), he came right back the next day and fixed it. We were extremely impressed with Brian, his office person Becky, the system itself, and the overall professionalism. Would recommend them highly. (The monitoring system is great, as well - we accidentally tripped the alarm one night and they called right away!)

I had a great experience working with Millennium Alarm. The quote process was easy and I never felt that Brian was trying to up-sell me on getting a bigger system than I needed. We initially delayed the install while we were finishing home renovations, and we were able to schedule an install date easily thanks to the help of Becky, his administrative guru. Brian somehow made it to our house the morning after that nasty ice storm for the install. (Nothing was going on in Somerville at that time except for rain, and in retrospect I don't know how he did it! That is dedication!) The install went smoothly, and the system set up and "training" on how the system worked went well. Brian ran into a snag with the way we had our phone lines set up. The house was old and the existing phone lines led to no dial tones. We had to have our phone people out to the house to get the system set up the safest way, and Brian was available by cell phone to help make sure that went smoothly, too. Can't say enough about how easy Brian made all of this for us first-time alarm buyers and I would highly recommend doing business with Millennium Alarm.

Took one day to have everything installed. Ran into a few problems with the house wiring due to the construction of additions. However, he worked through them and I have a system that I feel very safe with.

Brian was extremely responsive, knowledgeable, and professional. He was great to deal with. He came out very quickly when we called to do an estimate. He was very laid-back - no "hard sell" like some of the other guys we met with. His office staff was also professional and responsive. It took us a while to move forward and multiple conversations with Brian and his staff, but they were always very nice and patient with us. The installation went great and all seems to be working well. Highly recommended.

We just bought our first home, and had never had an alarm system before. We called a few companies for information, but NONE (and I mean NONE) were as responsive, helpful, and professional as Brian at Millennium Alarm Technologies. He worked around our schedule at every turn. First, he came out to our house on the first day that we were there. The cable guy was also there installing cable, and Brian had a long talk with the cable guy to make sure he was setting up our phones properly so that the alarm would be most efficient. He spent about an hour with us, walking around the house, identifying and explaining possible trouble points, and how to best protect ourselves and our home. He then went through the various options/models that were available, gave us the pros and cons of each, and then told us what his suggestion would be. He then left, and told us that he'd have an estimate to us by the next day. We have recently dealt with several contractors who were less conscientious, so we were thrilled when Brian actually did EXACTLY WHAT HE SAID and got us the estimate the next day. I know it seems small, but it was great to finally meet someone who took that amount of pride in their work. His committment to excellence did not stop there. We called back, and told him that we decided to use his company, and would love for him to come out to install the unit for us when he could. Now, his office is in Leominster....but he still agreed to meet us at our place in Boston at 7AM. Over the phone, he gave us a time estimate for the install, and he was SPOT ON! And there were no hidden fees. We paid exactly what the estimate said. And, the best part of all, he was very patient about explaining everything possible about the system. He walked us through all of the possible "problems" we might have with intruders, and showed us how to react (with the alarm system, I mean), and he made sure we understood it all. I can't wait to refer him to my friends, because they will thank me. This guy and this company are GREAT. They will get it done right, and on time. I can't say enough good things about Millennium Alarm.

The heat detector in my guest room starting going off at 4 AM for no apparent reason (there was no fire). I had inherited the system when I bought my condo a year ago so I wasn't familiar with how it worked and couldn't remove the cover to see if there was an issue with a battery. The person who I left a message with at Millennium was really nice and Brian called me back within a couple of hours to discuss the problem. He was really helpful and patient in explaining things to me, even when it became apparent that it was an issue for an electrician, not an alarm company due to the type of system. I really appreciate him making the effort to do that even though his company would not be able to provide any services. If I decide to switch alarm system types in the future, I will definitely call Millennium and would recommend the company to anyone who does need an alarm company's services.

We were extremely happy with our experience with Millennium Alarm and Brian (the owner). We felt they were the most reasonably priced for top notch equipment and service. Brian was always punctual to our appointments and there was always someone courteous in his office available to answer the phones. We immediately felt comfortable working with Brian and are happy to be his customers.

Everything with Millenium Alarm went smoothly. A pleasure to deal with them. Responded next morning to my late evening phone call, scheduled appt very soon and at my convenience. Brian was personable, competent, experienced, able to answer my questions, and was straightforward in telling me that I probably wouldn't need some of the features I was unsure about purchasing, and why. And he was flexible and agreeable around adjusting to my schedule for performing the installation and in setting up a time to show me how to use the system even though it meant making another trip to my house at my convenience. All companies should be this well run.
