Brian and Jim are extremely knowledgeable and professional. They arrived promptly, took care of all my requests and patiently answered all my questions. I also appreciated all of Brian's advice. They did a great job in the installation and made sure I knew how to use all the features. I've had to call them a couple of times since the installation but they responded very quickly and took care of everything. So far, I'm very pleased with the service they provided.

Price came back and it was the best of 3 quotes I got. I would have used this company but in the end we decided not to install an alarm for other reasons. Had I done so, I would have used these guys in a second - very impressive and professional....from the person who answers the phone to the guy who came by to look at the house.

My experience with the people at Milliennium Alarm Technologies was very positive. I spoke with Becky at the office to schedule an appointment for an evaluation of my security needs and she was very helpful in co-ordinating an appointment with the installer (Brian) who is also the president of the company. Brian arrived right on time and evaluated my existing equipment and offered a number of suggestions without pushing any of them. He provided a written estimate and, when asked for references, provided them in a timely fashion. Other Alarm Companies I interviewed were unable to provide a single reference in my area. The prices quoted by Millennium were far more competitive than the other companies I considered. Millennium scheduled an appointment for installation within a week of the evaluation, and the installer arrived on time and completed the work efficiently. He did not try to upsell me on any features and the price was exactly the same as the estimate. The installer took a great deal of time after the installation explaining the system and made sure I felt comfortable with all the features.I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is considering a residential alarm system.

Brian came to evaluate my security system on Friday June 24. He thought he could use the existing wiring, and all the door contacts, if they were working properly. (One turned out not to work, but he didn't charge me for the new contact.) He promised to provide an estimate, with options, by Sunday June 26, which he did. I replied to his email estimate by trying to articulate my understanding of what the update would entail, and I asked one question, which he encouraged me to do: He proposed adding a wireless smoke detector on the first or second floor, and I asked what the advantages/disadvantages would be for either choice. He recommended adding the wireless smoke detector on the second floor, but, he added, that the safest method would be to add a wireless smoke detector on each floor, which I eventually agreed to. It seemed silly not to add real protection for an additional $127.00. Once I agreed to the specifications of updating my security system, Brian agreed to install it on July 5 2011. He arrived at 11.30 AM, and asked to move his materials into the basement, which I appreciated. I had a doctor's appointment at 1.30 PM, which took about an hour, and I had no problem leaving Brian working while I was away. He finished the installation about 5 PM, saving the paperwork till last. Brian wanted to show me how the new security worked, keying in my own code. He showed me how to operate the system, reminding to use it, by telling me story of a client who had two security systems in two different homes; the client became complacent, however, and one of his houses was broken into. Brian took almost an hour with the paperwork, making sure to answer every question that I had. My experience with Millenium Alarm Technologies was excellent. Becky at the office, and Brian were very professional and I wouldn't hesitate for a second to recommend this company to my closest friends. Brian even placed all of the trash in one box in the basement. This, for me, was a terrific experience, one that I wish every home renovation project could be.

My experience with Millenium was a very good one from start to finish. I called and was able to schedule the first visit for the day I requested. Brian spent a couple of hours with me, inspecting the house and discussing options. The next day, I had an electrican doing some work at my house, including installing outlets as Brian had recommended so that the alarm's main control box could be installed in an office closet. Despite that I had not yet received Millenium's formal estimate or further engaged Millenium's services, when a question arose that Saturday, I called Brian on his cell phone and he spoke with the electrician to ensure that the installation was correct. During the installation process, Jim was thorough and professional. When difficulties arose (attributable to structural issues in the house), he was able to work around them. After the alarm was installed, Jim spent as much time as I needed answering questions and teaching me how to use the system. So far, I've had no problems with the system and the alarm functions exactly as it should.

We had an outstanding experience from our first interaction with Millenium. Becky was courteous and helpful on the phone, and Brian came out to meet us at our house early in the morning the following week. He carefully surveyed our existing system and made thoughtful recommendations based on our needs. The installation was done efficiently and well. We are extremely pleased with the services and plan to continue using this company.

Brian from Millennium Alarm Technologies met me at my house very early one weekday morning to walkthrough my house in order to develop his estimate. This was great, as I needed to be at work by 8 AM. The house had an existing alarm system that was not active, and seemed out of date. However, Brian knew the system well, and let me know that the main system could actually still be used - which would save money. The day of the install, his team arrived on time and did a great job adding the additional contacts I wanted, and connecting with the existing system. The final price was exactly as he had quoted me - no surprises.

I called Millennium while under tight time pressure to get a new alarm system since I learned in the middle of a large home remodeling project that I would need to replace my existing system to meet code. I got bids for four different firms and went with Millennium because they gave me a competitive price and I felt they were the most thoughtful and responsive of the people I spoke with. I also felt that they have an integrity in a business where some of their peers can take a very hard sell approach. I particularly liked the fact that they didn't require any long term monitoring commitments. I recommend them highly.

I wanted to get an estimate for a home security system. I called and the receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful and I scheduled to have Brian the owner come out that same week. He was very prompt, arriving at 7:00am as scheduled. He was extremely friendly and professional and went through the entire house and described various options and their pros and cons. He got back to me within 24 hours with a professional and thorough quote, listing optional items which I might or might not want to include. The price seemed very reasonable and I plan on having Millenium do the install within the next couple of months.

The interaction was excellent. They were very prompt and gave me an accurate quote. The service was great. The price was good. They were very responsive.

Top-notch experience, from start to finish. It started with Becky in the office. She is fabulous, totally responsive. Then Brian (the owner) came out to do the estimate. He is fabulous. He quickly understood our needs and made intelligent recommendations about what to do. He even talked me out of features that I didn't need. I'm neurotic about security, but he is the expert, and he knew exactly what we needed and didn't need. Then the tech came. He too is fabulous; did a very thorough job. Brian was also there during most of the installation. Wherever possible, he used the wiring from the old system the previous owners had, thus saving us money. I'm also neurotic about service: these guys are The Best. I recommend them with the highest of praise and the deepest of confidence.

Overall it went well. Considering that we decided to install an alarm system (ie, before the holidays), everything went off perfectly. Millennium delivered as advertised.

Totally Positve experience from the inital contact with the office support staff. Both ladies that I talked to from the office were totally great and extremely helpfull. Two field techs showed up and guided me through the experience impressively and knowledgably. It is very evident to me that everyone working here is respected and valued, This translates into going up and beyond for their customers. They really do care and I would recommend anyone thinking of an alarm or who having an existing alarm that they are considering having monitored to deal with Millennium Alarm Technologies Inc. Their knowledge of Alarm systems was impressive and despite the challenges my system presented to them at first, they handled it effortlessly. I can't thank them enough for coming to my rescue.

Brian came over and walked through all the scenarios that could be installed at my home, After I explained what I wanted to achieve, he was able to package the best system for my needs. The day of the installed Brian came in with his technician Jim who was very meticulous about how wires were run and the neetness of the installation. I couldn't ask for much more. After the system weas installed Jim covered the major features of the system.Overall everything went very smooth without incident. The professionalism was top notch and the workmanship was reflected in the results.

We scheduld an appointment and to my surprise Becky from Millenium called to tell be that the gentleman from Millennium was running a few minutes late and apologized. I was surprised, in a good way, that they actually had the courtesy to let me know! Such an improvement over the typical "we'll see you between 8am and 4pm" routine. The gentleman showed up, surveyed the house and made many good upgrade suggesitons for my preexisitng system. He provided me with a quote with different options and was quick to schedule an appointment when I called. He even saved me some money by relocating some of the motion sensors without charging me for the relocation or purchase of additional equipment.

Bryan is very knowlegible, professional. He reused the existing installed hardware and helped me understand everythying. Very happy with the overall experience.

Millennium Alarm is how I wish all home service companies were- they were fantastic. Quick appointment scheduling, called to update me on the time of arrival that day (instead of leaving a 4 hour window), and very honest appraisal without pushing expensive new equipment. Brian seems highly knowledgeable about alarm systems. He got everything functioning and alarm monitoring activated that day. He gave me options for addressing the areas where sensors weren't working, ranging from a cheap fix to the more expensive comprehensive replacement, but thought I was fine with what I had working. I could not recommend this company more!

Absolutely fabulous. Brian came and conducted a thorough inspection; gave me options and costs; service was terrific and on time, comprehensive; and best yet! they called me today to let me know I had overpaid and a refund was coming my way. How cool is that!

Based on other Angie's List reviews, I contacted Millennium Alarm because we were having problems with our alarm set up by ADT. ADT wanted to charge $125 to fix it (we had been a customer since 2001) and I thought that was excessive. Brian fixed the problem - at no charge - and earned our business. I highly recommend Millennium Alarm.

A long overdue feedback for Millennium Alarm and Brian, who came out and installed. Our home had an internal alarm with motion detectors, etc but needed to get hooked up to a monitoring company. Unfortunately whomever installed the original system (not Millennium) switched out all the codes so we would have to contact them to do the wiring. I was unhappy with such a practice so I shopped around. Millennium came well recommended, Brian switched out old panels and put in new ones at cost, the job took much longer than expected because some wiring needed to be redone as well. But Brian stuck to the original quote, for what I paid for the work, hardware (pretty inexpensive really) and 1 year of monitoring, many places I am sure would have charged FAR more. And MLNM has no contracts, I am not locked in at all. A class act all around. Thank you very much, Brian!

Arrived to perform free estimate, was very thorough and explained any and all options. No hard sell or pressure to include items not required. Returned for installation, was neat and workmanlike. Very pleased with the experience, would recommend without hesitation.

They helped us work through what we needed to feel secure without trying to oversell us. They were friendly, professional, and well-priced.

The process went very well. They were on time and did a great job. There was a little delay, but only because the cable/phone company we had to use had to add a few things before the job was completed. We would use this company again in the future.
