Description of Work: This company has been snow plowing and sanding our driveway for the last 15 - 20 years. Joel who is the owner is one of the nicest people to do business with. He is reasonably priced ( we have a large, elevated driveway so need someone who is the best at what he does) and dependable.

Description of Work: Joel helped me prep my garage for a new cement floor. This involved excavating the old dirt floor and hauling the extra away and backfilling with gravel and compacting it. After 2+ years, the floor has not shifted or cracked.

+ -1 moreReally excellent service by a professional with good "plant" sense. We contacted Joel shortly after we moved into our new home. We were horrified by the overgrown and ill-maintained state of our yard. Joel came right over and explained that it was all "workable" and that he could complete the work quickly. He was good to his word and did it all for a very reasonable price. We were very satisfied with Joel's work and have recommended him to several friends and neighbors.
Description of Work: Removal of large tree stump and several garden beds of invasive plants and shrubs; removal of old clothesline posts; removal of large rhododendron busy (removed intact for replanting); application of landscaping cloth and new soil.

+ 0 moreJoel and his helper did a wonderful job. This retaining wall was originally built incorrectly and was slowly creeping onto to my patio. It was so bad we were running out of room to walk between it and the house! They pulled down the old wall, put in the correct base of gravel and landscape fabric so the the hill would no longer push the wall out. He also built the wall thicker so that it would actually retain the hill for a long time to come. He also recommended repairing another part of the same wall that wasn't creeping yet, but would end up slowly working its way down, so we did that too. The wall looks excellent and Joel and his helper were a joy to have on site. They cleaned up nicely afterwards and regraded the lawn where they had to bring in a machine. Great job!
Description of Work: Rebuilt a stone retaining wall that was falling down.
