+ -1 moreJackson Kitchen installed a new countertop on 11/7/2012. I was just finished renovating my property after working in it for 3 months.. The last item was the countertop. Jackson Kitchen hired a subcontractor install the countertop which I was unaware of. Three days later my home was flooded because the installer did not cap off the kitchen pipes. The interior of my home was totaled. I never received a phone call from Jackson Kitchen apologizing for the work performed in my home. My insurance company would not cover the total amount of the countertop. I called Jackson Kitchen and talked to the manager and the owner who stated "that isn't there problem it is a the responsibility for the insurance company to cover the full cost of the countertop. Now, I am forced to bring Jackson kitchen to small claims court to recover the money I spent on a countertop.

Description of Work: Great experience with Mike Curran, salesman for jackson Lumber & Millwork of Lawrence, MA & Raymond, NH. I had a problem with a double-hung energy effecient, double glazed tilt in vinyl window installed April 2004 in my Townhouse Condo and found out through property management that the installer of the windows had gone out of business. However, I was provided with a contact person from that defunct window company who turned out to be Mike Curran, currently working for Jackson Lumber & Millwork. I called Mike and he came by the following day and fixed the window without charging me. I asked for his current business card and saw he now was employed with Jackson Lumber & Millwork. Mike did not have to take time out of his schedule to rectify a warranty problem from his previous defunct empoyer, but the fact he did and handled my problem with such grace, and expert skill sold me on his professional courtesy and will make me a customer now of Jackson Lumber & Millwork. If I need any windows or other quality home building materials, Mike Curren at Jackson Lumber & Millowork will be the first person I would call.
