A & B Flooring

We got three estimates and AB was mainstream. We also had some references from folks who has used them. Dan B. was very accommodating. He did our stairs first in the first week so we could live on the 2nd floor while the first floor was being redone. On the second week, he did our entire first floor. They did exactly as promised and more. Dan replaced many floor boards that were stained from our old cat, as well as some that had electric wire holes made in them. Three days, three coats of polyurethane and even returned to resolve a couple of picky issues we had. Very responsive. A nice change from past exp[experiences with contractors who disappear after they get their money. We would hire A&B again.

A&B's Dan B was very accommodating. They did our stairs first, so we could use them to live on the second floor while they redid the first floor. They were punctual, polite, respectful, and clean. Dan even cheerfully came back, even after the job was finished and we had already paid him, to resolve an issue to our satisfaction. A nice change from past experiences where contractors disappear after they are paid. I would recommend A&B in a heartbeat!

Returned my call for appointment promptly. Fair estimate. Showed up on time and at a date convenient for us. Did the work in three days as promised. Surprisingly not as dusty as expected.

I got 3 estimates. A & B was the lowest estimate. They are local. I did contract with them to refinish about 400 square feet of hardwood floor. They sanded it down and applied 3 coats of polyurethane. We are very satisfied with the work. People have come in and seen the work and said, "Wow". They told me they would be coming in a few weeks previously because they were booked up. The day they said they would be here they showed up. They were very punctual. The other thing that we found that was nice was that they did not ask for any upfront money. They were paid in full upon completion of the work. I would absolutely use them again and highly recommend them.

Very responsive to inquiry, competitive price, scheduled several weeks in advance, showed up the morning promised right on time and ready to work. Work they did was very good, floors look great. Only complaint is that they don't use newer dustless sanders, and they didn't do a great job cleaining up, so there's a fair amount of dust that we're still cleaning.
