They did a great job. Not only vacuuming, changing sheets and all, but also cleaning our stove hood (I helped take it apart), polishing cabinets, and dusting every corner imaginable. We were so pleased, they now come every other week (4 hours) and are flexible to work around our holiday schedule or when we have guests from out of town.

I?ve been having my home cleaned from The Cleaning Advantage for almost a year now and I love it. Gabe always cleans my house and does such an awesome job. I love how I can contact the owner at any time and she always answers me or gets back to me within minutes! Very Efficient and friendly!

I can't say enough good things about Karen and her team. I started using them in 2011 after I had my first child. At the time, I worked 2 part time jobs and my husband owns a business that he puts in 80 hours a week. For me to spend my free time cleaning and not spending time with my child just didn't seem right. And I can't do it all either. Hiring The Cleaning Advantage was one of the smartest things I have done. I can't imagine not having them around. There is nothing like coming home to a nice clean home. One less thing on my never ending to-do list and one less thing to worry about. My next pregnancy started off really rough and Karen was very accommodating in scheduling around my brutal morning (more like all day) sickness. With my baby coming soon, I had to change the time of my regularly scheduled cleaning, and she again was very gracious and very accommodating. I do want to add that I don't have the biggest house or perhaps the fanciest house, but Brenda and her team always take pride in their work no matter how big or small the job. I am forever grateful that I found them and they have no idea how much I appreciate their work. They have always been on time, very responsive, very accommodating, and a real pleasure to work with.

I hired The Cleaning Advantage for a short-term contract following surgery and this is the best money I could have ever spent. A & M were prompt, cheerful, and ultra-attentive to the details. I am a picky neatnick, and these ladies were outstanding. Karen the owner is incredibly responsive by email, first while setting up the service and then checking in to see how the cleaning went. I really liked using them and am currently searching for a higher-paying job so I can schedule them permanently.

They just stopped showing up to the appointments. When I called she indicated she lost three quarters of her staff and would get back to me, but I have not heard back since.

They cleaned the whole condo. They work in tandem and have the routine well coordinated. When they leave the house is as clean as two people can make it in an hour.

Went very well. Info provided regarding lack of prior quality work was instructive. Definitely would use again.

Went very poorly. Team showed up late. Texted friends instead of working. Sloppy workmanship. Spilled solution on floor and put rug over it. Team didnt work the full amount of time as they were late and there was a hard stop on the part of the homeowner.

Cleaning was thorough and the ladies are very nice!

very expensive; needed to ask to clean shower better; needed to ask to clean under baseboard heaters otherwise it wouldn't be done.

They said they wanted to do a good job, but I did not authorize extra time. I kind of felt bait & switched. I paid the extra amount, but was left with a sour taste in my mouth. Too bad, because their work was quite satisfactory.

They said, "we are not taking on anymore clients in Chelmsford as it is just a little too far out for us."

They come weekly and the ladies do a very good job. They are very responsive to my requests and have been flexiable with scheduling.

This is a tough review for me. Overall, I was impressed with several aspects of The Cleaning Advantage. However, the single most important factor ? the actual cleaning ? left me disappointed. As a busy 2-working parent family with kids, my wife and I decided it was time to get a cleaning service. After some research and quotes, we chose The Cleaning Advantage. They responded to my online request for a quote promptly, and offered an estimate without a visitation. Despite the owner being on vacation, she contacted me directly to schedule the cleaning. I appreciated the prompt response, liked the ?green cleaning? products, and appreciated that they accept credit cards (including AmEx for larger purchases). I mentioned the Angie?s List discount, and we agreed to a time and date for a ?deep cleaning? and a recurring bi-weekly cleaning. On the date of the deep clean, two cleaners came out. They were very friendly and polite, and worked diligently. When my wife and I reviewed the cleaning, we were disappointed to see some rather obvious areas clearly missed throughout the house. Floors were improved, but not immaculate. Several areas of the master bedroom were untouched, apparently forgotten. Most blatantly, in the master bathroom, the clear glass shower door remained streaky with water stains, and the outside of the toilet remained uncleaned. I was disappointed. I let the owner know of my disappointment when I paid, and she was good enough to send the cleaners back, at no additional charge. The cleaners came back, apologized profusely, and spent 30 minutes cleaning. After which, they declared themselves finished, and departed. Upon my return, I was frustrated to again see uncleaned areas of the bedroom and the bathroom. I could see improvement ? but blatant areas still remained, including a dirty outside of the toilet. Since this appointment, several weeks ago, I have not contacted the cleaners, and they have have not reached out to us. I simply wasn?t certain ? perhaps my expectations were just too high? I also hesitated to complain further, as the cleaners were very friendly and professional. I decided to hire another cleaning company. It was at this point that I knew that my expectations were not too high. My ?new? company has come out, pointed out some of the less obvious spots that were entirely missed (in addition to the obvious ones), and conducted a much deeper, more impressive cleaning.

Most of the time the cleaners who do my house are punctual, friendly, and thorough. Karen tries to keep her teams of 2 cleaners together so clients know who to expect. I've been using The Cleaning Advantage for almost two years and 90% of the time they are prompt and except for a few times, are the same crew. They love my standard poodle and she follows them around while they clean. I teach piano and they use a special soft mitt to dust my baby grand. They dust all my pictures on the walls and the mantel which has lots of knick knacks on it. When they leave after about 1 1/2-2 hours, the house looks and smells clean.The sinks and bathrooms and very clean. Often they will ask me if I want a little something extra done. Occasionally if I'm going to have a lot of company I'll ask them to (within reason).If you need to change your time slot, Karen will work with you to try to reschedule. Finally, all the cleaners have been very trustworthy, leaving possessions on top of dressers or computer desks alone. Their quality of work and their trustworthiness are rare in the cleaning industry.

They were professional, thorough and worked at a good clip. Basic cleaning. Some reasonable restrictions on what they would or would not clean.

Karen was very responsive to initial inquiry and to scheduling all appointments quickly and accommodating my requests for extra cleaning or attention to a particular aspect of cleaning in a given session. Cleaning staff is friendly, prompt and do a good job. I am able to bill it to my credit card which is easier than remembering to leave a check. I am pleased with their service and recommend them to others without reservation!

The Cleaning Advantages came in and cleaned my house top to bottom, i can not recall ever having had a clean house like that. The two young ladies were great with my cats, which is always a concern of mine but w/in a few minutes i had no worries of leaving them with my furries. All my acumulated spiderwebs (high ceilings) are gone, shelves, floors, kickboards are sparkling or as much as an 150 year old house can sparkle. My kitchen is in top shape and I can not wait for them to come back and keep it that way. I consider this one of the best investments I have ever made, nothing better to having a clean house and not needing to feel guilty. I can highly recommend their services!

I've had a very good experience with them. I am always happy with them. They are efficient, friendly, and always on time. They do little extras that are not part of the job.

***Please note that this review does not reflect the quality of services provided by this vendor*** We recently bought a home in Shrewsbury and wanted to get a thorough cleaning done before we move in. Called Karen for a quote and possibly schedule an appointment for the job. She said she is very busy during the week that I wanted the job to be done and will call back after checking her schedule. This was last week and I haven't heard back from her yet.

They did a great job. The reason I didn’t ask them back is because they broke a couple of different things in my bathroom, but the cleaning itself was great.

They did an average job. There were two ladies that came, and it seemed that one worked harder than the other. It also seemed like they tried to stretch the time out as long as possible, since they were getting paid by the hour. It appeared that they just used a check off of a list for the work, versus just cleaning what needs to be done. They did a fine job and they did clean, like they were supposed to.

In addition to the cleaning being absolutely fantastic, I had an issue where a ceiling fan got broken and the owner, Karen, had that fixed in a flash. She had me pick out the fan, got an electrician and offered to stay until it was completely installed. It was just incredibly nice. She is really accommodating. The women she hires are treated like regular employees, they have a good wage and are eligible for benefits, and that is really important for me. She has a great website that explains her business practices.

We had been living in a construction site and chaos for 8 weeks from a big kitchen redo. I learned first hand that construction dust is different from normal household dust and more difficult to remove. I needed help in cleaning my entire home. Karen, the owner, explained the cleaning process, estimate of total cost and sent an email additional information about her company. She was able to accommodate my schedule. The two women cleaned 3 bedrooms, 2 and a half baths, my main floor minus my kitchen (I am enjoying setting up my new kitchen) in 3 and 1/2 hours. They liked my dog. I was very satisfied with the service provided.
