Recently bought a house on which EAW Roofing had done the roof 3 years ago. The roof had a leak and since the previous owner gave me the invoice, I decided to call them for the warranty. They went to take a look and blamed the chimney flue and after getting the chimney inspected and getting the report stating that it was the roof. EAW said that there was no warranty and they needed to charge if they were to inspect it and charge for any repairs needed. Just to get them to visit took months. I decided to check the roof myself and it’s the worst roof job that I had ever seen. They do not stand by their work. I would give them zero stars if possible. I would advise to use someone else as it’s ridiculous to have a roof that’s a few years old that’s leaking and in bad workmanship

EAW responded quickly and efficiently to our project. Work was done in a day and looks great. Dealing with both Eric, the owner, and Mike was pleasant and positive. Site cleanup was done and we are pleased with their performance in all phases including price.

Did not have a pleasant experience whatsoever. Agreed to written contract ($5780), then after the job was complete, they stated that they lost money on the project and were looking to get another $2300 from us (40% of the original contract!!) but they would settle for an extra $1k. Mind you, we did not have anything extra done that was not listed on the original contract--their "extra" costs came from labor and dump costs only. After refusing to pay anything additional other than the agreed upon $5780, Eric (owner) threatened to put a mechanic's lien on our house for the $2300 plus legal fees. I would have been happy to go to court to settle this matter, but we are in the process of selling the home, and didn't want to hold things up. We ended up giving them $500 to be rid of them, which they quickly agreed upon, but I surely would have loved to go to court. Seems very evident that they didn't budget the project correctly and wanted to pass on THEIR mistakes to the customer.

I was very impressed with the customer service and quality deliverable provided by Eric and his team. They were very honest, realistic, and the job was completed quickly between getting the initial quote to the final walkthrough of the completed job. Eric's manager, Mike, was also great to work with in coordinating the details of the job and following up on items with me in a timely manner. I highly recommend this company for any roofing related repairs and I will be using them for any future repairs.

Rubber roof badly failed after 9 years. Warranty for 15 years. Eric refused to even look at the job because it was too far way. Would not honor warranty

We met and started working with EAW in the Summer 2018. We have several flat roofs, on a non-standard structure, we appreciate that Eric and his crew, are willing to brainstorm and use their expertise to come up with workable solutions. He values relationships and is flexible and fair. It feels great to have a reliable roofer that stands by his work!

We just had a new roof installed on our home and garage. They were at our home at 7am ready to go and stayed until the project was complete! Eric is very easy to deal with and the foreman Mike was here with the employees all day. They were very friendly and very accommodating to even to the "special" requests I had. They did an outstanding job! When the job was done my yard looked amazing they cleaned up so well, other than seeing my amazing new roof you wouldn't have even known they were here! I highly recommend EAW Roofing.

Eric and his team provided a competitive quote + work done within 3 days since I told them I was selling my home and needed to get some work done ASAP. Guys were prompt and easy to work with. Eric was very responsive and overall these guys are professional. I would definitely hire again.

I met with Eric, explained history of roof/ceiling problem and he proceeded to inspect the roof, explained his findings and suggested work to resolve problem. I asked for and received his recommendations in writing a few hours later. Although I didn't hire Eric's company, I wouldn't hesitate to in the future.

The quality of work was good. We were pleased with the experience. It took them a few days to complete the service. It was a good, friendly service.

EAW was able to do the job quickly, provided good advice on doing the job correctly. The job was not well supervised - I do however recognize that this was a small job. The roofing quality was good, but they did a poor job re-attaching siding which had to be removed to do the job properly.

Went great. I needed a relatively minor roof repair and was concerned about finding a good roofing company that would be able to squeeze in a repair job this late in the year. Communication with the owner Eric was excellent and he was very responsive as we had several messages back and forth about the repair and he had me send a picture of my shingles so they could do their best to try and match the color of the few they would have to replace as my roof was faded being 17 years old. He was able to fit me in to their schedule and the work was done within a few days. His workers Mario and Matt were really good guys and very professional and came out and did the job as described. It was even snowing lightly the entire time they were here and they took precautions to keep things dry during the repair and even took pictures at various stages so they could show me how things looked. Very happy with this company and the work done.

All other contractors were too busy, except for one that had a higher price. Work was completed on time and workers were courteous and professional and did more work than we expected. They worked under winter conditions with cold, darkness, and rain in order to complete job on time.

Eric and crew were great. Very polite, fast and did a fanastic job. The roof is a steep one and they had to deal with trees and spotty weather. Also I shared a driveway with my neighbor (multi-family) and they were able to keep the driveway clear for the tenants. Very happy with the results.

We have an old victorian and hired Eric and his crew to do the job after reading all the positive reviews. First, let me state that the quality of work is outstanding. We had only a very small leak around a vent pipe that Eric himself fixed immediately. Eric is punctual and responds quickly. If you decide to go with EAW though, I highly recommend getting signed off estimates for everything.We received the first estimate from Eric and chose his company. Then it turned out the estimate was wrong because the guy doing the estimate missed a major point. Then there were the old built in gutters. Eric wanted to be paid hourly and did an initial inspection of the roof saying 'it doesn't seem to be such a big deal'. When they started taking the flashing and siding off, it was a big deal. Eric recommended a different route to save money which we did. It still turned out to be a major project with costs that exceeded the actual roofing cost by far. He had to bring in a local contractor as carpenter because there wasn't one on his crew. His crew is a mixed bag. They worked long hours, but took long breaks. They did quality work, but left their garbage (soda cans, food containers) all over our yard. There was slate work to be done, just a little, which again was supposed to be done hourly. After finishing the main roof, they never came back to actually do that. To be fair as well, Eric did give us a discount on the final price because it got so expensive. Other things we thought were included in the estimate, weren't. Read the estimate carefully and make sure it's all there. Our project got more expensive every week.

The project started on time to the minute. Eric has a punctual, hard working team. The only delay was after 99% of the job was done, a part was needed to be special ordered to complete the job. This was no problem and certainly wouldn't stop me from calling them again.. They cleaned up after themselves and even took some of my trash from another project I was working on.

Eric Weaver is a great guy. He arrived at my place and we went through many different topics related to my roofing job. He took the time to answer my questions, and it only took a few days before I had a quote. He was able to answer many of my on-going questions by email, and even came back to re-check my attic - he didn't quote any new roof decking, and when I told him that everybody else had done that, he came back to check again and decided to add it into the quote. The price was reasonable, and Eric was ready to roll and start the work right away. I told him that I had a few more estimates to review but would get back to him. Again he was responsive to my questions, as I learned more about my roof job, got different estimates, and did some research. I almost chose Eric, but in the end it came down to him and another guy. He was on vacation when the other guy came back around, and with the wife pressuring me to finally make a decision I went with the other guy. The deciding factor was that the other guy is a GAF Master Elite certified contractor and can offer their top warrantee that not only covers material defects but also workmanship (even if installed incorrectly). Certainteed - what Eric uses - doesn't offer that level of warrantee. And whether it ultimately would have been needed or not isn't the point. It was the final point of (slight) differentiation. I wish Eric all the best, and if the other guy doesn't start my roof in the next 10 days, I will rip that contract and give Eric a call back...

Eric was very professional. He provided us with all the paperwork including copies of his insurance, licenses, etc. He maintained contact with us at least twice a day. His workers were polite, well mannered and worked extremely hard. The site was left clean and neat each day. We were very pleased with his work and would definitely recommend him. The work was done on schedule.

Eric was very responsive. For a flat roof that's now about 8 years old, there was water pooling around seams, especially around new HVAC units we installed a year before. He laid out my options; leave it alone for now, re-glue the seams or tape over the seams with another membrane. He laid out the costs of the 2 active measures and I decided to go ahead and pay for some insurance and tape over the seams. You can see the quality of their work; straight lines, no bumps, no globs of any material. The site was left perfectly clean with no leftover containers of any kind. They also weren't playing music, loud or otherwise, during the installation. The workmen were focused on their work. I have to say that if someone is looking for temporary or cheap fixes, this company is not for you. If you need the assurance of quality materials and attention to detail, and are willing to pay for them, this is your roofer.

Eric has a great crew. Hard working, responsive and professional. We bought a 50 year roof and the best gutters available. We made progress payments whenever asked and did our part as clients. All good until a heavy rain 2 days after the completion and the water was overrunning the gutters and spilling on to the house and porch. We complained and held off on the final payment. Eric's view was that we chose the wrong gutter, and that he had told us this ahead of time. His position was that this was all our fault. Our's was that we just spent $45,000 and expected this leaking to stop, and we have no clue as to what is the right or wrong gutter. We trusted him to guide us on this. We compromised in the end, and flashing was added. Now we just wait for the next rain and hope for the best. There are often conflicts when working with a contractor. We understand that, and expected a calm negotiation and to meet in the middle. Given the circumstances, we certainly weren't being unreasonable. In our negotiation with Eric, his position was that we were wrong, he would perhaps do us a favor by adding some flashing, and we were stealing from him by claiming the excess copper left on the site. While I was still negotiating with his deputy and we were about to agree, he had a law firm send us a threatening letter. I am a contractor, in a different business. I understand the importance of managing clients, and have had my share of difficult clients. We were very good clients, with a legitimate concern, and Eric dealt with us very poorly. I give him credit for having a strong crew, but we would not work with him again.

Nice people to work with. All questions answered. Explanation of work being done thorough. Hard workers! Neighbors stated how nice it looked just after front being done. Good job on cleanup with their magnet. Would recommend them!

It went very well. The crew he sent was large enough that it was done in 2 days. The men were hardworking and friendly. They did a great job, the roof looks terrific and equally important is that they left my property as clean as they found it when they were through.

The experience has been very good, the pricing is fair, and the service is very good. They are here today as well.
