The basement wall was built over vent. Richard the technician did a great job removing the old vent and installing the new one up to code. He had to remove the drop ceiling to access the vent to the outside. Then he drilled a perfect 4" hole in the cabinet above the dryer because the new vent had to be installed outside the wall and the cabinet was in the way. Rich was very professional, very precise and very informative. The entire job took a few hours and when he finished everything was cleaned up. He also installed a new vent on the outside of the house. Everything is working efficiently. I highly recommend Dryer Vent Wizard.

I wish I called these guys first! After paying 200 dollars to another company to clean my dryer vent, two days later my dryer was registering clogged again and shutting off before clothes were dry. They didn’t return calls to come back out and I gave up and tried this company. This was one of the most easy and pleasant service calls I’ve ever had. The tech was on time, polite, and knowledgeable. He pulled a birds nest from my vent and fixed the grate so that it would open and close properly - and plus he cleaned my disgusting lint filled laundry room! It was left seriously spotless. Highly recommend - I will be calling them again for cleanings in the future.

I would recommend Dryer Vent Wizard. They did a great job putting in a new vent system for us. We found Rich to be very professional and highly efficient. I wish we had called them first! We had another company clean our dryer vent in June with poor results. We were not expecting to be so impressed with the service. All we did the rest of the day was talk about the service we received after Rich left. I wish all contractors would treat their customers like Dryer Vent Wizard does. THANK YOU!!

I called Dryer Vent Wizard of Central Massachusetts and set up an appointment to either clean the existing vents or replace. Mike LaValle called me to give me a rough estimate of charges and we set up an appointment for this afternoon, 9/21/2018. Richard Gaffney called ahead to let me know the time of arrival. He is a very personable young man who explained the issues with the out of code dry vent system in my 1987 condo. He explained the options and gave me an itemized quote. I quickly checked with my condo association and got the go ahead. The work took a couple hours. He showed me the finished work and explained how everything had been installed and secured. He cleaned the work area and showed me how the new vent worked. I was very impressed with his knowledge of the situation and expert installation. I recommend Dryer Vent Wizard without hesitation. Michael and his team were fantastic to work with to replace a plastic dryer vent with a metal one to meet new code requirements. It's a job that you don't necessarily expect to be an especially positive or memorable experience, but I'd say Michael's personable and professional demeanor made all the difference. Michael came by twice, each visit lasting under 2 hours--exactly as he said they would. He was quick to respond to emails around scheduling and providing receipts. He'd call when on his way and arrived punctually, if not early. He was direct and honest about all considerations, walking us through what to expect, any risks/considerations to weigh, costs for one approach vs. another--all before taking any next steps. The costs came in at exactly what he quoted and there were no surprises. Can't go wrong working with these guys!

Our neighborhood coordinated with Dryer Vent Wizards to perform dryer vent cleaning services for several residents over the course of a couple days. The economy of scale worked for all of us. The service person was prompt, uniformed and professional in all aspects of the service. He explained his plan of action and was diligent in performing the work and when finished reviewed in detail what was done, what was found and corrected, and tidied up. Good choice.

My experience with the Dryer Vent Wizard was what every company should deliver to every customer. The young man who serviced my dryer vent and booster fan was courteous, knowledgeable of the task to be done, corrected any minor problems that would cause the dryer venting from working efficiently and was considerate by vacuuming and leaving the area spotless. I had a very bad experience with this service. I needed my dryer cleaned and called them for an estimate. I spoke to the manager who gave me an estimate of $150-175, which I agreed to after several questions and 5 minutes on the phone. When they came to clean the dryer, the manager whom I spoke to on the phone was actually the person who came to do the service. Before he performed the service, he had me sign the price agreement. The agreement said $199, plus an additional $25 fee for the actual cleaning, and an additional $59 fee for driving to my house. Clearly I was surprised because this was $100 more than the initial quote he gave me. Because he was the person I had spoken to on the phone, I told him that I was confused with the price. After some back and forth, he agreed to drop both additional fees. I was a little frustrated with the dishonesty at this point and unwillingly started to write out a check. The MANAGER then said that he was NOT going to perform the service because I was "clearly unhappy" and he didn't like my attitude. Of course I was unhappy, he tried to overcharge me and then realized his mistake. It was very deceiving. He could've explained this to me on the phone. He stormed out of my house after saying he "didn't have 3 hours to explain all of the fees to me over the phone," how absurd. This was such an unprofessional and dishonest experience. Make sure you ask about fees on the phone, they WILL try to get as much money out of you as possible. EDIT ----- I recently wrote a one star review of this company detailing the poor experience I had with one of the managers and how I was treated. Earlier today, I received a very angry call from him. In which, he called me a liar and repeatedly kept telling me to admit that I'm lying. I believe he said he was recording me (I'm not sure if I heard him correctly but I think that's what he said) - which I'm positive is illegal. Everything I wrote was the absolute truth. He was very disrespectful and unprofessional. I'm clearly nervous about this situation now because this man knows where I live. I am not going to remove my review, because it is the absolute truth. He claimed I was being difficult, and I responded that I simply didn't appreciate him lying to me about his pricing. For a manager to angrily call a customer and call them a liar is very unprofessional. I would strongly advise against using this company. The manager tried to bully me into removing my review and was continuously calling me a liar.

Northborough, MA - Needed to have the dryer vent cleaned. Michael L. (owner/operator) came and did an excellent job. Replaced the twisted setup the original installers had done. Our rubber washing machine hoses were 7 years old so he also replaced them with metal hoses. Michael was very prompt, courteous, thorough and accommodating. Will definitely have him back in two years to repeat the service. Highly recommend him and Dryer Vent Wizard of Central MA.

The techs arrived within the time I had been given and called to inform me when they would be at my house. They introduced themselves and went to evaluate the dryer/vent and informed me of the cost and then proceeded to do the work. The service was done in a timely fashion and they cleaned up after themselves. I had no issues and would hire them again. Great Job!

Michael and his team showed up promptly and professionally. They went right to work and completed the job as planned. I was very impressed with the completed work. I would certainly hire them again and plan do so.

Michael and his helper were great. It happened to be a really hot early fall day when they came and they had to work in a tight, dirt crawl space. They assessed the job, gave us a couple of choices about how it could be done and told us they could do the work while they were here. We thought the estimate was fair and reasonable and when we gave them the go-ahead, they set right to work. They worked steadily, in the crawl space and outside, despite the heat and got the job done quickly and efficiently, with no disruption to us. When they were done, they still had smiles on their faces! We will definitely call them when it's time to have the vent cleaned, based on our experience with them this time.

It was not an easy task, but the job was done quickly and professionally and the cost was substantially less than what I was expecting. I was impressed their promptness and professionalism. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone.
