A large oak fell in our back yard, leaning against other trees, a dangerous "widow maker", directly over the well head where we get water for our home. No access for crane. Chris climbed adjacent trees while his crew manned the heavy ropes. With skill and calculation and 50ft off the ground he trimmed limbs, one at time, while his guys manned the ropes below. They were able to guide this large oak to the ground and saved our well from certain damage. They came the day after I called, on the morning of the day when another bad weather situation came through and blew other trees in town down. That storm might have brought the tree in our yard down. If that tree came down where it was leaning, we would be without water to our home for a long time and an expensive repair to our well was avoided.

Chris and his partner arrived on time and spent 5 hours straight doing the cutting, chipping and cleaning up. Everything went smoothly and the work was well done despite the cold, windy weather. He went through a lot of effort to climb the oak trees and carefully drop the dead branches that were hanging over the back (neighbor's) fence. I would definitely use Chris Burke Tree Service again and will highly recommend them to others. Readers should note that his estimate was significantly lower than another estimate I received from a large, local tree service.

His prices seemed reasonable but since he never got back to me, I can't really comment any more than that. He was getting out here the first time but there was no followup.

This was done in conjunction with another tree co., Branch Manager tree service, and between the 2 of them I couldn't be happier, they did a terrific job at a very reasonable price, and the trees were huge oaks, one was 70 years old and required the bucket truck to extend as far as it would go. I wouldn't hesitate for a minute to hire these folks again!
