Maria's Happy House Cleaning

We had Maria came to estimate for the whole-house cleaned and had agreed to a fixed price to be completed in two days. The first day, Maria with 2 other helpers showed up on time and was prompt for the first phase of cleaning. On the second day, Maria came with only one helper and after they left, we found out they did a terrible job in some rooms. The blind was partially cleaned and still had dust/dirt left on the blinds. The cabinet also had a layer of dust and many cobwebs in the basement did not get cleaned off. We tried to called her to remedy these issues and left many voicemails but she never returned our calls. We also tried email but never responded. We would not recommend anyone to use Maria for the house cleaning works. It was a terrible experience.

Maria and her helper Vel cleaned in corners we didn’t even know we had. Their work was meticulous. They were both cheerful and friendly. Nothing we asked was too much trouble. We look forward to them coming back. Highly recommend her service.

Maria and her staff did an exceptional job with the First major cleaning. Her bi weekly visits are perfect for our busy household of 4 kids and two full time working parents. Floors, bathrooms,vacuuming ,dusting are always done. It’s a great feeling coming home to a freshly cleaned house. Highly recommend Maria!

Maria and her team have been cleaning my house once a month for more than a year. I love dealing with her because she really tries hard to accommodate the customer. She keeps track of when we're due for a cleaning and texts in advance to confirm the day and general time. She also brings the cleaning supplies. If I'm not going to be home, I can leave a key and she locks up behind her. The work is done quickly (usually by a crew of 3 - her helpers change from visit to visit) so if I am home it's not intrusive for long. She is great about honoring special requests about how to clean fragile and antique items. If you're looking for a trustworthy and diligent cleaner in the Plymouth area, I'd highly recommend Maria.

They did an excellent job. Great attention to detail removing dust from baseboards and doors. Kids' fingerprint smudges, and grime removed!

I have used Maria's Happy House Cleaning since she started the business and I cannot express how happy I am with she and her team. I have her come bi-weekly. First and foremost, she and her team are trustworthy! I am not home most times they come and have never thought twice about her entering my home ....even when my daughter was home alone growing up , along with my 2 pugs, whom love her I love coming home to a clean smelling home & what feels like a new kitchen, sparkling bathrooms and clean sheets (my favorite day of the week). I am forever grateful to Maria & her team for providing me piece of mind and saving me time cleaning my house. They always do a fabulous job!!

Cleaning house every other week. Always came on correct day. Seemed as though as time progressed the job got worse. Finally got tired of having to clean my own bathroom after they were supposed to so I terminated and am looking for a different service. If I was home the cleaning took around 2 1/2 hours [2 or 3 people] and if I was not - it only took 1 hour. Had to leave one day saw them driving in [on my way out]. Returned in an hour and they were gone. Just didn't feel comfortable after that. Also gave them an old key tot he house - previously used by the former cleaning service and asked fore the key back, got it back a month after I requested it back including a text reminder . Also got a new key not the key I provided. Not exactly what I expected or wanted.

I have marked her excellent in every category-plus she is happy.

Maria has been cleaning my 3,000 sq. ft. house, twice a month, for over two years now. I "found" her through Angie's List, and from the first, never considered looking at anyone else. We have bamboo hardwood throughout the house, as well as some stone and tile flooring, and a few area oriental rugs. All flooring finishes are treated appropriately, as are all furniture surfaces (including fabric, wood, and glass), as well as granite and marble counter tops. And when her crew is finished, the house is ALWAYS immaculate (we have a few, shedding pets, too)! Additionally, Maria's pricing has always been quite fair and reasonable. I, personally, cannot imagine anyone not being absolutely satisfied with the results of Maria's cleaning services, and I recommend her unequivocally!

She's an absolute gem. She does a great job, had a great attitude and never complains. They do a wonderful job cleaning the house. I have had her a couple years and I would recommend her to anyone. .

Maria's cleaning service went above and beyond my expectations in every way! They cleaned dust behind furniture that hadn't been moved in twenty years! My home is now spotless! I was so impressed with their results that I have hired them to clean on a regular basis.

From the first time Maria and her crew came to my house about 3 yrs ago she has been cleaning my house every month since. I look forward to her coming, she does an excellent job. She is very polite and considerate. I would recommend her highly. I leave my key for her and when I get home from work, it's all clean.

Maria and her crews have been doing all our cleaning for more than three years, and we have been very, very happy. She is extremely thorough, and when she and her people come in, they work very hard, and obviously care a lot about the results. We also feel very comfortable when she comes, because we know that our valuables and property are safe with her. Great. They did not clean my basement room and I thought in 6 hours they could have done that along with the other 2 floors.

I bought six hours of housecleaning She showed up half hour late with no apology. Then she informed me she wanted to use my cleaning supplies which should have been conveyed to me in the phone conversation and on the website. She started upstairs in the bathroom and was in there for an hour and a half and other than cleaning the blinds the one set of blinds and I'm not sure what she did. She left the one lotion stain that I knew was on the floor, dust on the granite countertop ledge, and didn't scrub the tub walls (I had just done the rest), very unimpressed. She came downstairs after 2 1/2 hours saying that the upstairs is all done so I went up and I inspected it. I immediately let her know that I was not happy and that it was clear she didn't wash th floors which I conveyed to her as a big focus area. She went on about how water is bad for my floors but that was her chosen method?? She ran a wet rag and squeegee over the floors and didn't get up any of the stains. I pointed out several of them to her and she still didn't care. Then she informed me because she brought her husband-who was doing nothing-she would only clean for three hours. This makes sense only if he was doing something but he wasn't. He only vaccumed which took about 15 minutes. I caught him on his phone several times. Very unhappy with the service. It was clear she didn't want to be here and my house is uncluttered and far from filthy. I was excited to be getting a deep clean and I didn't even get a half way decent job.

I was very disappointed in the quality and timeliness of the service. I had a tenant move out on a Sunday and a new one moving in Wednesday. When my wife and I met with Maria on Sunday, we went into a great deal of detail about what we wanted done in the unit. She saw that the unit was very dirty and we kept emphasizing that everything, including windows, walls, floors, ceiling fan blades, the bathroom, appliances in the kitchen both inside and out, etc, needed a thorough cleaning. I told her she could only could clean on the day before the new tenants were moving in on Wednesday. She assured me again that that would not be a problem. However, she'd have to start at 6 am on Tuesday morning, in order to fit me in. I said no problem; I'd meet her at the condo at 6 am to let her in. I arrived at the condo at 5:50am. Maria was a no show. At 6:35 am I called her with no answer. At 6:40 am she called to tell me she'd be there in a few minutes. She arrived at 6:50 am and started to work with one other woman. At 8:45, she called me to say she was done. I arrived back in a few minutes. Upon inspecting the condo, the shower stall was still filthy, the window sill corners still had piles of dirt untouched, the kitchen and bathroom floors were still very dirty, the walls and wood work were still dirty, the storage unit had not been swept out, etc. We were very specific about all these items prior to her accepting the job. When I started to point out these issues to her, she became very defensive, repeatedly telling me I had never told her that I wanted a "detailed" cleaning that would have dealt with some of the issues I was pointing out. That comment was just not true. She did finally vacuum the window sills, half heartedly cleaned the shower and cleaned again the kitchen floor. By this time, I paid her the agreed upon amount and told her to leave. I spent the next 3 hours finishing the cleaning I paid her to do. I've had housekeepers for years and know what a good cleaning should be. Maria's work left a lot to be desired and would not use or recommend her in the future. I hope Maria takes this critique seriously and focuses on improving her service versus taking this personally. I like Maria and hopes she is successful.

We found her on Angie's List, and we have been using her for about 2 months now. They came and did exactly what we wanted them to do, and that is the best part. We use them twice a month. We don't have a set time for them, they come on a specific day.

She was professional, thorough and friendly.
