Response was extremely prompt when first contacted. Then there seemed to be lapses once order was in. They respond well and quickly to reminders. If you just wait to hear from them, you might be waiting awhile. But the end product is very nice!

Acct exec Tom Cebula was very thorough describing the products, product construction and all my options. He sent a detailed proposal that clearly explained my choices. In addition, I received fabric swatches of my chosen patterns that helped in the decision making process and in choosing chair cushions for the patio chairs. I was told tat it would be 3 -4 wks till the fabric awning was ready and it was installed @ the end of 4 wks. along with the aluminum door canopy over the front door. Installation was quick. Both awnings look great.

After researching thoroughly I realized it would be better to spend more money up front than along the line in repairs. The cheaper awnings that come from China seem to have a pretty short life. Dorchester only sells top quality. They also have the best warranty in the business. Working with them was like working with family. Everyone was so friendly and knowledgeable. Someone came to my home to explain the options and there was absolutely NO pressure to pick a certain one or to purchase at all. It took about 4 weeks for the awning to be made and about 45 min. to install. The installation team was incredible. Every step was explained to me. I would highly recommend this company. We are THRILLED with our awning. It now feels like we have an extra room on our home. I would absolutely recommend this company.

I had questions about the fabric after the awnings were hung. They were extremely helpful and sent a person out to answer those questions. I would definitely use them again.
