ASAP Lock & Key

We had a mortise lock that the lock cylinder wasn't properly secured in due to a faulty screw, and we needed that to be fixed in order to sell the house. The guy from ASAP communicated well on his way and did the work smoothly. I also had him re-key the lock to match the driveway door, while he was there.

I expected to make an appointment for another day when I called to have the locks changed on our new house on Christmas Eve, but Moshe came with in the hour and was very professional and helpful. I'd definitely use ASAP Lock and Key again.

I called Moshe at 9:30 am and left a voice mail. He called me back within 30 minutes and shared that he could be to our home in about an hour. He came on time & promptly fixed the front door lock - replacing some small parts. He then worked to pull off the full length door lock/jam for the porch door to see if he could flip the lock which he shared was on backwards. The parts were unable to be swapped to the correct position (the original owners had the wrong locks purchased), but he was able to fix the locks to at least close again. He is a wonderful locksmith & person. Very honest, very nice, and very helpful in his description of his work. As a side note, I used Moshe back in June to re-key all of the locks on our new home and he was fantastic then as well.

I wish all service providers had his level of professionalism, courtesy and manners. He gave me the Angie’s list discount (I had forgotten to even bring it up, but he did!)

I would absolutely use them again. They showed up 15 minutes early. We reviewed what needed to be done. They made recommendations that saved me money and increased our security on one of the doors. Originally I called another company that said they charged $35 for service fee and $19 per lock. When they arrived they wanted to charge me $90 per lock - needless to say I didn't use them. ASAP quoted me $50 service plus $15 per lock - well worth it. He was extremely professional and very responsive. Next time, I would only call him!!

Moshe picked up the phone when I called him, rather than having to leave a voicemail message, so I liked his approach to service from the get-go. He was punctual, professional, fast, and re-keyed my four locks at a fair price. I will definitely be calling upon Moshe again for anything that requires a locksmith!

Moshe arrived even earlier than estimated when I called for same-day service! I had attempted to replace locks myself in our new house from home depot products, but had trouble finding the appropriate parts for our old system (lock and door are from the 1920s). When I was trying to do this on my own, I actually broke a piece of the lock while attempting to remove it. Moshe was able to replace the piece that I had broken with parts from an old lock that he had lying around (He did not have this with him, but travelled all the way to his house to get it and then came back within an hour). After about 4 hours of labor, he was able to sort it out for me and only charged me $125. I felt that amount was beyond reasonable considering the time/labor alone. Will definitely use Moshe again and recommend to others.

Very responsive and incredibly fair in terms of the price asked. Locksmiths typically have you in a situation where you cannot say no, but in this case I felt we were treated with a lot of professionalism and fairness. We will use them again.

Best experience I've had in a while. My wife and I were in the process of closing on a house that had tons of title issues. To add to the stress, on the day we closed - our key did not work for the lock on the front door. We also did not receive a key for the side door. All this aside, Mr. Werba arrived and did a whole re-key for both locks. His attitude was wonderful, given the strenuous circumstances of buying a house and closing. Once the re-key was done I asked for an estimate on the bulk-head door and was given a free estimate. A great experience and would definitely work again with Mr. Werba!

I called and we set an appointment for a Saturday, 3-4 days after the call, in the morning. He arrived right on time. Was straightforward, polite, and worked hard, finished the job without trouble in 2 hours or so. I paid pretty much just what I expected.

Moshe was great - he came out on a Friday afternoon after I called him on Thursday - right on time. He changed 4 locks very quickly, and was very professional. The keys worked great in all the locks. Would definitely call him anytime we need any additional Locksmith services! Highly recommended.

Mr. Werba was punctual, professional, and fixed two additional locks that wasn't part of the original call. However, Mr. Werba took cared of the additional locks without any questions. Mr. Werba is extremely experienced and was very efficient.

I found him on Angie's list. He was highly rated by our members. I called upon him and he arrived promptly at agreed upon time to change locks on the two rear doors and basement. These he did in an efficient, engagingly friendly and highly courteous manner, doing the work with care. There was no slap dash installation. He patiently explained options, for instance tying multiple locks to one key. When I was ready to have my tenants move in, I again, called upon him to install a deadbolt to replace the broken one on the front door. This he did with the same high level of care as the earlier work. I strongly recommend him to anyone who needs locks change or installed. The locks opened and closed smoothly. He works hard and diligently. His prices are very reasonable. I will call on him again in a heatbeat.
