I called the owner, explained the job, and he immediately scheduled an appointment to perform the work within a few hours. He showed up on time, was quick and efficient, and was cheerful and professional throughout. In short, I cannot recommend him enough.

Moshe was very efficient. He removed and installed the lock on bedroom door within 15 minutes upon arrival. He then proceeded to rekey the front door lock, which took him very little time. He left for approximately 10-15 minutes to make additional copies of the key, which was extremely helpful. All in all it took well under an hour to complete everything. He was great!

I called about my need to have the locks to my home rekeyed and one lock replaced. The business owner was courteous, scheduled an appointment for the next morning and arrived early knowing that I needed to leave for work. We discussed the scope of work, he made two excellent suggestions that increase the security of my home at no additional cost and he set about the task at hand. His fee was very competitive and I couldn't be happier about the results. I would definitely use him again and recommend him to others.

Great service, was very responsive and talked me through everything he was doing. Everything works fantastically now and I thought his prices were pretty reasonable - he was working for almost and hour and a half.

Our front door lock (old S. End house with original huge wood doors) came loose. We tried to fix, made it worse! Called ASAP who came promptly and fixed well and quickly--without trying to sell us on more of a fix than we needed. We were very pleased; lock works very well and we did not need to change the lock. Moshe also told us when to call him and what he would do next IF we have loosening of what he did to secure the lock as is. He was efficient, easy to work with, and modest. A GREAT combination. YES we would call him back in a heartbeat!

The work cost me $140. He was great. I didn?t have any complaints with him. He did work in my parents? house, after they saw the work he had done for me. I will use him again in the future.

I just bought a 3 family house. Moshe came in on a Saturday to do the job because I was having a crazy week. He gave me good advice about how the keys should work and did his best to be sure I didn't wind up with 30 different keys for the numerous doors he worked on. The job was larger than he expected, but he finished it in a good window of time and was very pleasant to work with.

Mr. Werba is an exceptional individual. His work is prompt, reasonably priced and thoroughly professional. He solved all of my lock problems and even returned within the hour to correct something I had overlooked. He is moreover very personable. I could not be more pleased.

He was also conscientious of the aesthetic of the lock because we have an historic home. And he had the right locks with him. He didn't have to come back another day like many other contractors. We needed our tenants' locks changed the same day due to a safety concern. I called at about 8:30 a.m. and Moshe answered the phone. He came out at about 3:00 (right on time) and took care of it for us. We asked him to come back to change some locks on a non-emergency basis and he will be coming on Saturday to do that. He seemed very knowledgeable about what he does and was very pleasant. I don't have a point of reference for the cost since I haven't needed to use a locksmith.

Fantastic! A very nice and interesting man came early (but not too) to our home to put a lock back on the backdoor as we had removed it to paint the door during a remodel. I cannot say enough- he was punctual, kind, and very helpful in replacing the lock and went out of his way to ensure the lock worked perfectly. The experience was the best service call we ever had. If I could get all contractors to be this dependable and skilled my house would be fantastic! I would call him again in a heartbeat and you should too!

Moshe responded promptly and told me what time to expect him. He called me to inform me that he would be one hour later and then arrived on time. My front door lock would not open, and he tried to open it several ways. He analysed the cause of blockage absolutely correctly, and finally resolved the problem by sawing through the screws holding the metal plate to the door frame, which gave him enough room to open the door. Then he took the lock apart, found the screw which had fallen inside and blocked the lock, and was able to restore and return the original lock to the door with minimal damage to the door frame. He found that one part of the door mechanism, which is about 120 years old, was worn, which causes some roughness in one direction, but advised me to keep the old lock and avoid turning the handle in that direction. The door lock is working better than ever, and I am full of admiration for his careful, prompt and professional work.

The name of this guys company says it all. ASAP is really ASAP. The tenants in our rental property had a break-in. We were out of town, and they called us frantic to have the locks replaced (as the break-in seemed to have been by someone with an old set of keys). We found ASAP Lock & Key here on Angie's list, and called him right away after seeing what great reviews he gets. He was there within an hour, and replaced all the locks, making our tenants very happy and making our problem go away very quickly. Would totally recommend using him, and will definitely use him again in the future!

My experience with ASAP was first rate from start to finish. I called when I lost the key to my garage. I decided I would have the lockset replaced as it was very old. Moshe was very courteous and professional over the phone. He gave me an estimate and a time later that day when he could come by. He arrived promptly, did excellent work and charged the amount he had quoted.

They charged me in and around $100 and it was a good price. I had them over to the house the first time and it turned out that the previous tenants had used them previously which and was a coincidence. She had been very pleased with them and I was very pleased with them. They were very responsive and did a good job.
