Not well. Delivery not on time. No compensation offered. Now one hour beyond the latest hour given for delivery.

The driver was nice. He put the dirt where it was intended. I found a lot of glass, a partial window frame ( yes, a window), a man's T-shirt, very large rocks (seriously large) and various other items not usually found in store bought loam.

This is the 2nd year I purchased from WH. I reviewed last yr's dirt (not all that great condition). I decided to give them another go. While ordering, I mentioned to the girl at the counter that there were many foreign objects in my order from last year. I explained that I didn't want a repeat, so I was willing to upgrade my soil to ensure i would receive top quality this year. Another girl, who was sitting in a corner, piped up and rudely told me that "that never happens" and that she had "never heard of any items in their loam" like I described. I don't feel like I am treated like a valued customer by being called a liar. I didn't ask for anything from her. I actually made MORE so the quality would be higher to ensure it was good. I work with the public, and I think she needs a lesson or 2 on how to speak to customers.

I usually stop here at least once a season, maybe more frequently in the summer months. The annuals and perennials are generally very well cared for and look much healthier than many nurseries. Prices seem a bit high sometimes, especially for the bigger pots and pre-made containers but the quality is predictably good. Indoor staff have always been very pleasant while the outdoor staff has seemed less attentive and responsive. Always a treat to drop in around the holidays. Wolf Hill does a lovely job with their Christmas greens and offer many fun and unusual items in their gift shop area.

Phone Transaction simple, delivered when and where I asked (was not home), measured and found less than a cord, no questions asked they delivered wood to make up the shortfall. The wood does not burn easily, the wood stove has to be really cranking to get this stuff to burn well.

I refused to buy the wood because I thought the price was extremely high. I found another business that promptly delivered for $160.00 per cord.

The wood was delivered on time, and I got a honest cord. The wood was very wet (a lot of rain last few days), which the women on the phone warned me about. The wood was mostly split to small enough sizes, but about 10% was too large. I have dealt with them in the past with good results.

AFTER HAVING A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE BUYING WOOD LAST YEAR, IT WAS GREAT TO HAVE THIS COMPANY SUPPLY US OUR FIREWOOD. THE PEOPLE ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL. THEY DELIVERED EXACTLY A CORD. THE WOOD WAS IN GREAT CONDITION. THEY DELIVERED WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD, AND THE PRICE WAS COMPARABLE TO ALL THE OTHERS THAT I WAS QUOTED. SO EASY! I'M SO HAPPY I DON'T HAVE TO SEARCH FOR ANOTHER COMPANY FOR FIREWOOD AGAIN NEXT YEAR!
