+ -1 moreBRUCE FLYNN RESPONDED PROMPTLY TO ALL CALLS. AFTER MY INITIAL CALL, HE CAME TO LOOK AT AND PHOTOGRAPH THE PLANTING SITES WITHIN 2 DAYS. HE WAS ABLE TO FAX A ROUGH DRAWING WITH SUGGESTED LANDSCAPING CHANGES WITHIN ONE WEEK, AND THE JOB WAS COMPLETED BY THE NEXT WEEK. HE WAS PERSONABLE AND FRIENDLY, PUNCTUAL, OPEN TO SUGGESTION, KNOWLEDGEABLE, PROFESSIONAL, AND HARD-WORKING. HE TOOK NO SHORT-CUTS AND DID THE WHOLE JOB RIGHT. HE ORIGINALLY QUOTED A PLANTING PRICE EQUAL TO THE COST OF THE PLANT, BUT REDUCED THE PRICE SPONTANEOUSLY AFTER FINISHING THE WORK AND FINDING IT LESS TIME-CONSUMING THAN HE ANTICIPATED. I LOVE GARDENING, BUT WILL ABSOLUTELY HIRE BRUCE AGAIN FOR JOBS TOO DIFFICULT TO MANAGE WITHOUT PROFESSIONAL HELP. IT WAS A PLEASURE WORKING WITH HIM, AND I RECOMMEND HIM HIGHLY.
Description of Work: THE LANDSCAPER PROVIDED A WELL-BALANCED, QUICK PLAN FOR ATTRACTIVE FOUNDATION PLANTINGS. HE WELCOMED MY INPUT AND PREFERENCES, SUGGESTED AND DISCUSSED VARIOUS OPTIONS, AND RESPECTED MY WISH TO PLANT SOME SMALLER, EASIER TO HANDLE SPECIMENS ON MY OWN. HIS PLAN WAS PERFECT FOR THE SPACE AND BUDGET HE HAD TO WORK WITH. HE WOULD EITHER PICK UP PLANTS FOR ME AT THE NURSERY, OR WORK WITH THEM AFTER DELIVERY TO THE SITE. HE WORKED WITH ME ON PLANT PLACEMENT TO ACHIEVE A PLEASING EFFECT, REMOVED STUMPS AND LARGE ROCKS BEFORE PLANTING, AND USED SOIL AMENDMENTS PROPERLY TO ENSURE HEALTHY GROWTH. ALL WORK WAS PERFORMED QUICKLY AND NEATLY, AND ALL PLANTS AND SHRUBS WERE WATERED BEFORE HE LEFT. HIS WORK IS TRULY ''CUSTOMIZED,'' SINCE HE WILL HANDLE LARGE OR SMALL JOBS, MAINTENANCE, OR WHATEVER PORTION OF THE WORK YOU WISH.
