Mr Fix It Handyman

I spoke with Lorenzo at 1pm this afternoon. He requested some e-mail photos and we set a time for him to stop by to clean the gutters. He called to say he was on his way, even though the weather was threatening. He arrived on time, jumped right to work, and was done before the severe stuff hit. Very happy with his service! his communications were great, and he got it done the same day! Would definitely recommend him for odd jobs and such. Thanks again for recommending a great company.

Job was done on time and looks good. I agreed to price up front. I should have been more diligent in asking what was included in the quote. I "assumed materials" paint, primer, and tape were included in the price, they were not. I agreed to pay for the wall paint and tape, he provided the primer and ceiling paint. I had two sliding doors on a closet in that room that were "according to him not part of the quote", they are basically part of the wall from the floor to almost to the ceiling, probably took 10 - 15 minutes to paint with the roller. He initially wanted an extra $50.00 to do this and reduced it to $30.00. I was happy with the outcome of the job, but not with the "the extras" that were not included in the verbal quote. My bad, live and learn.

I am regular customer of Mr. Fix It Handyman (Lorenzo) I own a SFR rental property; Mr. Fix It performs property maintenance as needed. I emailed him when the kitchen vent fan was delivered to the property. He called me a short time later to schedule an appointment. He arrived on time and finished the installation within a couple of hours.

the original plan was to remove the front porch flooring to fix ceiling leak from above,but the leak actually originated at the top of the wall and water traveled across the ceiling on a rusty beam, so the leak was plugged and walls painted with a protective coating instead. They were slower than I would have liked and I don't believe he needed another person to help him out for the plugging and painting.

Came in to complete the job as necessary. Experience was great.

Explained what he was going to do and howit would be done. His approach was very professional, will have again should the need arise.

Both people were very professional. The estimate was delivered promptly and the work was scheduled and completed within 10 days.

Mr Fix It Handyman did a wonderful job. I thought he was a little pricey. I'm going to use him next month.

We had our bathroom done by another contractor. They were supposed to replace our floor, toilet andsink

Mr Fix It Handyman was very quick to respond. They were friendly and very professional as well. I can't think of anything at all they need to improve on but I would not use this company again in the future.

I had several things to be fixed at my home. From appliance, cabinet, electrical to plumbing repair. No job was too small. Reasonable prices.

I has an amazing experience overall. I called Mr. Fixit and my call was returned within an hour. He came over on Tuesday which was the next day for the estimate. He came to do the job on Friday of that same week. Mr. Fixit is very honest in his estimates and works very hard from the moment he steps in the front door until project completion. I felt bad I kept asking him to take a break however he worked straight through until the job was complete. I can say with a clear conscience I have found my forever handyman.

I usually e-mail about the services I need and my e-mail is returned within a day. The work is started and completed within a week, based on my schedule. I love how well everything is cleaned up- you'd never know they were there!

We had a very good experience with Mr Fixit Handyman. He responded immediately to our phone call and set up an appointment. He arrived on time and explained what work he would do for us. He was very helpful, cheerful, and always punctual.

Mr. Fix-It was prompt in returning my initial call. Showed up on time to see what I needed done. Gave me a quote to replace and install the fixture and told me he would be back in a few days to install the unit, but he would call me to set that appointment up and would not show up with calling me first. He called the next day and said he had the unit and could install it that day if it was alright with me. I agreed, he arrived at the promised time and completed the installation to my approval. My only issue with the overall experience was he charged me an extra $40.00 for the installation of the fixture because he had to go into the attic to remove the old unit and install the one. I did not question the cost but I think he should have brought that issue up when he quoted the job that he might not be able to install the unit from the bathroom and the attic was the other option and it would cost more to do it. The additional cost was brought up after he completed the job. Overall the experience was good and I would use him again.

i called mr fixman for an small apt. shower stall that i wanted to replace.he came in and gave a verbal appraisal for 500.00,i requested a written appraisal which he responded that he'll do it later on or email to me.he stated that was the cost of his work not including materials if there was not underlying issues,i accepted,i let him know that i preferred to have the job done on a weekend (it was aprox 4hrs labor) he mentioned that he'll call to let me know when he will be able to start.the next day he call me on my cell to see if there was anybody home because he was in the vicinity and wanted to start working i called my wife she left her job to open the apt for him,couple of hours later he called me to let me know that the wood under and behind the old shower stall needed to be replaced i told him to replace them which and that point told me that will cost me another 500.00.i accepted,he called me again to let me know that he'll come back as soon i've had the new shower stall that i had order.ok.1 week later,the shower stall arrived,i called him to let him know,and again he told me that he'll let me know when he'll be in the area.can't remember when he called after that but again my wife left her job to open the apt. for him.by the way you have to disposed of whatever debris he doesn't do that.finally aprox 4hrs later the job was"completed'.the final result was:stain floors,leaking shower stall,accumulated debris,that i had to pay for disposal.

Mr. Fixit -- this one was David from CT -- came to give me an estimate and thoroughly inspected each area for work, asking me questions about my needs and my budget. He gave me many options on materials based on cost and effectiveness and explained how each option would work. While there for the estimate, he noticed a shelf pulling away from the wall in my kitchen and fixed that for free before he left. He called me two days later with an estimate, which he also emailed. We set up a time for him to come do the work. He showed up right on time with two additional workers. They were courteous and hardworking. They even helped me move a heavy piece of furniture that I had been waiting to move. They finished the work all in one day and I was charged exactly the estimate, plus a few extra dollars for something that they had to run to TruValue to get. I received a follow up email saying that the work was finished and the balance was paid. I would highly recommend Mr. FixIt or odd jobs or bigger projects.

We gave him a call and rebuilt the chimney, clean out the gutters and fixed the siding. He cleaned up the mess from the chimney repair. He did a great job.

When I first called Mr. Fix It, the gentleman who answered informed me that his partner who was working in my area would call me back in 30 minutes and sure enough David called within half an hour and offered to come over later that day to discuss what we wanted to have done. That afternoon and evening we walked through the house pointing out what we wanted done. David was very helpful in not only assuring us that he could fix it but offered suggestions as to what may work best for our budget. The work was done in three episodes starting in late August through mid-November. In each case, when I called David to tell him we were ready to move ahead with the next project he was able to give us a day that he could do the work and in each case he was there when promised. The work was always completed in one to two days and both my wife and I were very happy with the quality of the work. David was so prompt that the first project was completed before any of the other three companies I called had even responded, so I don't know how the pricing may have varied but his quotes always seemed reasonable and he always honored the labor price quoted and was always within a reasonable proximity to the materials cost.

Mr Fix-It was prompt in giving me a quote, showed up when promised and exceeded expectation when the work was complete.

They were professional in every respect and I recommend Mr. Fix It without reservation.

Lorenzo and Louie did a fantastic job. They cleaned up after themselves when the job was over. They were very polite and professional. i plan to hire them again for more jobs around the house. Their rates were very reasonal also and that was good for me.

Made a suggestion on how to do the job. Built the railing as he suggested. Did a great job. I am extremely pleased.

I called after breakfast and had it done by noon.
