I hired Tony at the recommendation of a neighbor rather than doing my own research. Big mistake. Tony was eager and conscientious at first. He made sure we ordered exactly what we wanted. The problems came at installation. The product looked nice, but his crew installed wooden fencing directly into the ground, without digging any post holes. I asked about it as they started and they claimed it wasn't necessary. The hardware was poorly installed and Tony made no effort to correct it even though he admitted that it was bad. At this point, 10+ years later, all the hardware is unusable or has simply broken or fallen off due to rotted connections. The arch built over the rear gate failed after 4 years, rotted at the connections. The front fencing failed after 10 years, completely rotted where the wood meets the ground. Overall, the experience was a very disappointing and expensive ripoff. I will have to replace everything they did. Avoid at all costs.

In the past, I have been very pleased with the work done by Tony's fence. Several years ago they installed a white vinyl fence between my house and a neighbors that looks just as good today. But my recent experience has been terrible. In the first week of June of this year we put down a deposit of over a thousand dollars to install a similar fence around our remaining yard. Tony's fence acknowledged receipt of our check (we even confirmed this by email) and told us that the installation would occur within 5 to 7 weeks. When four weeks had gone by without a word, we contacted the company again, only to learn that they had failed to note that they had received our check (despite having sent an email confirming its receipt, and, having cashed the check). That information was relayed only grudgingly, after more than a week trying to have someone from the company contact us. This week, now in late July, without any explanation or apology for the error, we have now received an installation estimate of mid September, more than fifteen weeks after Tony's fence cashed our deposit check. There has been no response at all to further requests for an explanation. I would strongly recommend that anyone else avoid this company.

We ended up using another company. But we would consider Tony's in the future if the need arises.

After doing some research with other local companies, Tony's had the best price for what I was looking for (granite lamp post, lantern, and installation). Liz in the office was very responsive and the entire transaction from ordering the post to scheduling the installation went smoothly. The crew who installed were friendly and professional. It was exactly what I was looking for and I am thrilled with the final result.

I had used this company once before and had a great experience. Not so good this time. I called for an estimate in May, and that went fine. They came back with the lowest price, and because of my good experience earlier I went with this company. There were some bumps this time, related to schedule and communication and also with the bid. The original date I was given for the work to be done was July 1. I took the day off from work to be there, but when I got there they had not shown up. When I called I was told that, due to rainy weather, they were behind and would not be coming that day. I understand about the rain, but no phone call was bad form. They arrived to do the work on the next business day when I could not be there. They worked for a while and then left. My neighbor's cable wire was ripped down when I stopped by to check things out. The next day I called Peter the owner, who told me that there had been an "emergency" and his crew would not be back yo complete the work until the following Saturday. Again, no call from this business to inform me of the delay. The office assistant told me that they were not finishing because they had a more important job. After I fm planed they sent the crew to finish, which I appreciated. When I got to the house I saw that they had left the old fence in a pile. All of the other bids I got included removal of the demolished fencing. I asked and was told that removal was not included, so now I have to hire a service to haul it away. In the end I very much wish that I had chosen a different company because they got the job by intentionally excluding this cost. I know from previous experience that this is a very common practice. The fence looks very good though. In summary I would say good work, but don't expect good communication and be very careful about what is in the quote.

The installer was punctual and did very high quality work. I expect another visit soon to repair some sections of an older fence.

The fence is gorgeous, fits my property perfectly, and was installed beautifully.

The fence rotted out after 5 years. As we learned later, Tony did not use pressure treated woood. Attempts to reach them were unsuccesful.

I think replacing the whole fence on a corner lot makes a difference on the price. They show up on time and they're competitively priced. I have looked at others and priced again. They are local and if I have a problem, they come right back. The guys that put my fence in were fantastic.

It was a very good experience. It was a custom-made fence of good quality, and the installation went perfectly.

The fence installation was done to my satisfaction. The only problem was it was held up several days because there were so many rainy days during this period. Tony's Fence did an excellent job.

Overall, I was happy with the fence installed. The quality seems adequate. They beat the price compared to 4 other fence estimates I received from other companies. My only gripe is that, even thought the measurements were accurate, they mismeasured at the shop and a section was too short, which they did resolve by extending then length of a section.In any case, I would probably use them again, and the price was great for the fence quality. The guys were very professional and worked quickly and I was always able to reach them with any issues.

We are about 90% happy with the resulting new fence but 0% happy with the process. They built the fence themselves so they were able to customize the widths of the stockades and even built a nice sloping stockade to transition between the 6 foot and the 4 foot fences. However, I had a very negative experience with them during the process. Most of it is as a result of their inability to manage customer expectations and their disrespect to the customer. They came by for the estimate and left a brochure with all they types of fences they could provide. Once we selected the type they sent us the quote and asked for a 50% deposit. We paid the deposit to lock in their schedule which they said would be about three weeks. In the meantime we hired an arborist to remove the tree obstructing the fence line. We didn't hear anything from them so I called to let them know the tree was gone and to find out when they were coming to do the work. I didn't get a firm commitment and had to call several times over then next two weeks. The day they finally came they were only able to finish half, and I had to call them back a couple of days later to find out when they were planning to finish it. Their promises seems so empty that I even had another company lined up to finish the job. In addition, they were disrespectful to our neighbors during the installation. Right after the work was completed they had no issue calling me the next day and the day after looking for the rest of their money. I was very disappointed considering I chose them through Angie's List. I searched for them again on Angie's List and realized they are entered twice. The first entry has two reports with mostly A's, the second has several reports with some C's and even an F. I wish I had seen the second entry before hiring these guys.

They are pretty good and competitive. They all belong to a family and they do great work. They are very nice and creative. They have done well and they have a bunch of trucks that I have seen around. They do a nice job and they are all related. I have used them a bunch of times around my house. They put in chain fences and gates to hide the dumpster room. I used them for rot iron and I have used them half a dozen times. They do a nice job and the guys who came out are strong. They know what they are doing and they do a good job. They are fairly priced but the paper work is not so great. They would come out with the sketch or they would come and do the measurements. After everything is done we have a nice product. It is a good value for the price and they get the job done. They show up when they say and they clean after them. They do a pretty good job and that's what counts.

They were very good. I am happy with the fence and all of their service. The process was very good because they sent their fence designer out to work with us. They custom make it. They make it to the specifications of our property. They actually make it in their workshop, so it looks much nicer than just buying it off the line and cutting it down to size. I had to wait sometime for them to be geared up and ready to install it. Since they were busy, we had to track them down a bit. I would certainly use them again.

Job was never done- got $150.00 of a $500.00 deposit back-

I had a very bad experience, and they had bad attitude.

They did pretty much everything with fencing. He is a guy who was very pleasant. He knew what he was talking about. He was able to give us estimates on 2 sections of the fence so we could do some of that at one time and the rest of it at another time. Overall, we had a fine experience. In fact, if we had $6000 we would hire them. He came right away. He was on time. He answered our message on the telephone.

They did a terrific job - the fence looks great. Nicely finished. Attention to details. This job was not easy as our property is not just a simple rectangle or square and has some strange angles to it, so it required some customization. They came in below budget.

Don't call them, they aren't interested in doing any work. Maybe they are independently wealthy.

Tony's Fence did a really good job. I wanted a 6 ft high privacy fence installed on one side of my property to match an existing fence on the other side. The existing fence was built by my brother (i.e. not a professional fence co) and other fence companies that I'd contacted regarding the project were clear that they would be able to come close by not exactly match the existing fence. I called Tony's and they came out within a few days to measure the property. Richard was great about explaining what they could do, and what he'd recommend. I had a written quote within a week. I contacted Richard with a couple of questions, and he was always very responsive and professional. There was a bit of a delay in getting the fence installed because of the Memorial Day holiday, but that was fine with me. I did have to call the office a couple of times to check on the expected installation date, but I probably would've done that with any company that I hired. Everyone I talked to at Tony's was polite and helpful. On the day of installation, a team showed up at my house at 7am and they worked through a very hot day installing the fence (both the 80 ft length, and the 12 ft corner including a double gate). I was very concerned about possible damage to my neighbor's trees and shrubs, and the workers were really careful to tie them back safely so that they weren't damaged. The fence is beautiful - exactly what I wanted. I'm thrilled with the result. The only concern I had was that they cut a bit off of a tree in my yard in order to get the fence in. I would've rather that they worked around it, and I only know the did it because I was there watching. They assured me they knew what they were doing, but they didn't put anything on the wound afterwards to prevent an infection from damaging the tree. I had to do that myself the next day. Other than that, the experience was just great.

While the fence was a little pricey, it covered a large area wrapping around my corner lot and they did a number of planning iterations with me in order to minimize the price. They did an excellent job planning and installing it. The project coordinator, Richard Fusiecki, was great to work with.

Tony's was a bit difficult to get a response from when we first contacted them (i.e., they would not always return calls), but once we had the designer come out and selected our fencing, the work was done promptly and looked great. When one of the gate posts came loose several months after the fence was installed, they came and reninforced it at no additional cost. We got three quotes, and Tony's was the lowest.

I thought they were great. They were both punctual and professional. They came and got the job done. I feel that their prices were very reasonable. I didn't have a problem making an appointment with them. They cleaned up after themselves after the job was done.

The first project was performed reasonably. Most of the fence was installed reasonably and of adequate quality. The hardware on the several gates was sub-standard and several latches and attachments broke within the first few months. Replacements were promised, but never delivered. Recently we wanted to install a 20 foot additional section to match the other fence. When we finally reached Richard at the company, we made an appointment and came out and measured the section of the fence, promising an estimate within a few days. The estimate was never sent, despite repeated calls from us. Recently, we called him again, thinking that they would be best to match the fence they already built. He made an appointment for a Saturday, he never showed up or called, as we waited for several hours. I reached him one other time on the phone, he promised to call me right back but did not. At that point we gave up on Tony's Fence.
