James Sheehan Review Very impressive company! Asked about removing front of house overgrown ugly shrubbery and replacing with new plans and bushes. Professional crew showed up and transformed front of house to beautiful! Then proceeded to add a bunch of extra work including cutting down tree limbs that were encroaching house and roof, went to back yard and cleaned up entire backyard including trimming back over grown bushes. Came back and remulched beds. Also came back and removed leaves- even under areas that hadn’t been cleared in years. Overall tremendous effort that were well beyond expectations! Pricing well below what our neighbors pay from other contractors and results are not nearly so thorough. Hire James Sheehan to take care of your home yard care and other services and you will experience the best!!

Jim Sheehan responded promptly to my request for an estimate and got back to me right away with the cost. Once I agreed he was out within a few days to cut the lawn. Everything looked great and they cleaned up the grass clippings so it was nice and neat looking.

We needed a lot of work done to the front of our house after moving in a year ago. Jim came by on a Sunday afternoon to look at the project, and completely anticipated what we needed. Upon agreeing on scope, Jim’s crew showed up the next day to begin work. We had ivy (poison and non), lots of rocks, and numerous overgrown and dying bushes and shrubs removed. Jim then repaired our front stairs and installed a beautiful paved walkway. During planting season, we will have Jim come back to install new shrubs. Upon completion of their work, they cleaned up so well that we couldn’t even tell they were there. I’m a construction project manager and this is my ultimate mark of professionalism.

Jim is amazing and incredibly talented. I found Jim as a referral from a friend of mine. His attention to detailed floored me!!! I originally had overgrown weeds and what ever was growing back there in my back yard and brown weeds in the front of my yard. It was embarassing. Jim came and looked it over and told me I needed a whole new lawn and he would put sod down. As far as the back yard, he would get rid of the jungle in the back yard. I hired him just expecting the minimum... Well...he did an outstanding job and more!!! Jim has an eye for landscaping. He put in a new front lawn with sod, lined my raised garden in the front with cobble stones I had lying around. The sod is perfectly cut and lined around the yard. Not a blade out of place. Cleaned up any leaves and other stuff that was around the bushes, I’m talking everything, only the bushes and mulch is there....he leveled out my back yard garden that was rocky and so uneven. My son has a scooter and drives up the side of the yard to get to the street. When Jim lined the edge of the grass with the cobble stones, he turned a few flat so my so could easily ride over them. The other cobbles stones were sticking up which looks great!!! He thought what was best on where to use each stone and did just that!!! Amazing!!! I have received numerous compliments from my neighbors. I posted pics on social media and everyone said the same thing...”WOW”. As the saying goes, attention to detail makes the scholar every time!!! Folks, Call Jim for your landscpaing needs!!! He is so talented and a down-to-earth gentleman. You will not be disappointed!!!!

After a lengthy consultation with Jim where he spent a lot of time assuring us that our lawn and our snow removal needs would be specifically met, I was shocked by how sloppily and without regard to schedule the services were performed. Our basic lawn care was barely adequate and, despite Jim's rousing talk of attention to re-seeding our sod lawn put in only one year ago, it was done once and poorly (much of the sod died). His crew buried the roots of our trees in edging, which is a recipe for rot, and destroyed much of the newly planted garden in the process, burying seedlings dirt. The poor quality of the landscaping work paled in comparison to the truly terrible quality of the snow removal work. We had two minor (1-2 inches) snows. During both incidents , the scope of work as defined with Jim was not completed (did NOT do the driveway, did NOT even do the front stairs; only did the walkway and didn't do so in a way that the pavement was at all visible). The services were at least 24 hours after the snow, which is not helpful for two professionals with jobs were we actually have to do our work on time. However, we perhaps thought that the service merited additional consideration, realizing that perhaps we weren't clear enough about our expectations for light snows. However, the first big storm was a disaster. 12 hours after the snow stopped, no clearing had occurred. Our family had a doctor's appointment and the snow in the driveway was barricading access out of the garage for our cars, so we placed a call to Jim. I was shocked -- he provided no time estimate. The best he provided was "sometime today," totally inappropriate for any household with paid employment outside the home. It seems that this company is not equip to service the number of clients it takes on in a timely way and with quality work. Work will not be completed without significant prompting and follow up. Please be advised if you expect services to be completed on the promised time frame or to the quality that Jim might suggest, you may be very disappointed (and leave the company's services with dead sod and a mountain of snow ready to freeze in your driveway).

Jim was immediately responsive to our inquiry and very helpful. He was always available to answer questions and to help the association make decisions about next steps. His crew did a terrific job. They arrived on time and worked hard without cutting corners. After the work, the property looked like new!

The crew did an excellent job. Showed up several days earlier than promised and worked hard to get done in good time. They supplemented our antique brick with some matching brick from their yard and did wonders edging around a very low bulkhead.

Great! They provided a quality service. All the snow was removed and salt was applied. They show up on time and charge a reasonable price. I have had them do snow removal for a few years. My neighbor has had them do landscaping and it looks great. If I didn't enjoy doing it myself I would have them do my landscaping. When I get tired of it I will.

Jim is very personable. I talked to 5 people before him & he was the only one who insisted on writing a quote face to face. It was a very competitive quote. After I decided to go with him, his crew started work a day early. Once the job started, it went fast. It's a big patio and they completed it in less than a week. Also was a Sunday & holiday during the week. His masons Alberto and Francisco are top notch and finished patio is better than I imagined. They chipped 2 pavers while finishing up and came back next morning to replace. Jim made sure we were happy before being paid balance of job. I'm very happy with the work quality, speed and professionalism. As far as any criticism, Jim had to reschedule our initial meet ups at the last minute for which he was very apologetic and were able to reschedule to next day. I would use him again and definitely recommend.

Excellent we could not be more pleased. The attention to detail and professionalism provided by James Sheehan and his workers were top notch. It was done in a timely manner and the end result was better than we expected.

Jim was very responsive to my initial email to him and came to my home to discuss what needed to be done. Within a few days he provided me we a quote and time frame on when work could begin. His team is very professional, personable and efficient and completed everything in a timely manner, He continues to do regular maintenance to the landscaping year-round as the quality of work is exceptional

We used Jimmy and his crew for our landscape projection in April 2017. He had creative ideas for our sloping back yard and added some nice flowering plants to compliment the new sod in our efficient front yard. We had a conservative budget and very short timeline. James Sheehan Landscaping delivered what they promised and did so in the time frame agreed upon. We now have a smart, functional and beautiful yard. Thank you Jimmy!!!

Removal of numerous downed tree limps due to recent storm in Canton. Clean up was provided within a few days of requested service. I have used this company in the past for spring clean up. They do a very good job and are fairly priced. I will continue to use Sheehan Landscaping.

I have had Jim do many projects for me on my property in Milton and most recently he Designed, Excavated and Installed a new driveway for my new property in Hull: That project included a stone retaining wall along with a stone patio. He coordinated the product and color selection of all materials. My expectations were exceeded.
