Good solid work from a pro

Chris was very professional.

I thought the price for a sump pump replacement was very expensive for what I had done (2 men, 2hrs). They quoted the estimate and charged me $1,500.00. Home Advisor had emailed/quoted me a fixed price of approx. 600.00. I had asked to schedule when they could do the job and said they could do it that day, THIS WAS NOT A RUSH/EMERGENCY, but I gave the go ahead because I just wanted this project done. There was no drilling involved (in the well and the wall to drain out). They replaced the sump pump and installed a new drain pipe in the well and attached it to the existing drain in my cellar wall. The plumbers were courteous and explained everything thouroughly so that weighed in on my overall star rating. Thanks.

Make sure to ask what is included in the assessment. In my case the roof vent was not included and would be additional money.

Chris arrived on time and set to work to diagnose why my furnace wasn't working. He said that he wouldn't charge me if he couldn't fix it. He was able to bypass the wires and get my furnace going, but in the end, after 4 full hours of diagnostics, he figured out that it was a dead wire in the wall and I needed an electrician. He worked tirelessly to figure out my problem and I knew what had to be done when he left. However, he said he wouldn't charge me because he didn't fix it. That was unbelievable after he spent a half day on my problem. He gave me his personal cell phone number so that my electrician could call him in order to save him a lot of time on diagnostics. I called his office the next day and charged $150 on my credit card for his trouble. I don't know what the job would have cost, but it seemed fair to give Chris some money. I would recommend him in a heartbeat.

Chris was tremendous. Way above expectations. He was thorough informative, neat, and friendly and of course, fixed the problem. Nancy was great at scheduling and I can not imagine hiring any one else.

Chris, the plumber, is friendly, personable, and a seasoned professional. The office staff takes the time to carefully schedule the most convenient time for the customer. We are very happy with our experience with Pipe Doctors.

A bit expensive, but will wait to see how it goes on next years inspection and maintenance.

Hired this company. Representative arrived much later than promised. They performed the work, but the final amount was higher than originally quoted. However, they did do a good job.

A little tough to schedule, then arrived late, but that's summer on Cape Cod. Took care of two problems, gave options for solving the problems at different levels of investment, and explained what caused them and how to prevent them in the future. Very personable.

Both Ed and David were knowledgeable, professional and courteous. They arrived on time and stayed until the project was completed. They were thorough and careful with the new kitchen appliances they were installing. They worked to accomodate my schedule. I would recommend them for any project, large or small. I plan to have them back in the near future for another project.
