Yes our company is big enough to handle smaller houses that aren't in really bad shape in one day. When I have a client that needs the correct job done fast we can send the crew which is 7 painters and we can finish a small house in a day. It's really something to see happening in front of you, it's like watching a well oiled machine. Not to much talking back in forth because they've been working with us for years each person knows what the next step is and what their part in it is. Everyone works in the area they are the best at. So if I have a painter that paints a door in 45 mins and the best one paints a door in 15 mins with the same quality then that painter will always be the painter to paint the doors and they know at what point in the process to paint the doors. We have special machines that no other company has to remove paint from shingles, when using this machine you can sand a entire wall without changing the disk which is a big time savings. We have custom pieces made to insure the edges of vinyl windows instead of using blue tape which is very time consuming. A the biggest time savings we have is the my wife Sarah is the lead painter and supervisor. Sarah is the fastest painter in the Cape she runs a very tight ship. She won't put up with painters doing something the wrong way. She paints every house like it's her house. Every house is different and Sarah has an uncanny ability to look at a house and come up with the overall game plan quickly. She will relay that game plan to the crew at the beginning of the job and she doesn't micro manage the who does what because everyone will know their place in her plan instinctively. This guys hold Sarah in very high regards and have the utmost respect for her. What she thinks about them really matters to them. In the same aspect these guys are not just painters we think of them as part of our family. Were there for them when ever they need us. That's why they work so hard for us and why their part of the Schmidt Painting family. If you have a project you need done in a short period of time give us a call. And if you hire us to paint your home in one day we encorage you to grab a lawn chair and watch the action. Seeing it all take place is the only way you can truly understand the brains and sweat that go into each of our projects. Even better do a time lapse video and put it in one of those digital photo frames. Walk arounds are generally done when painting is complete and clean up is still going on so as that we still have time to see any touch up there may be and fix it. Sometimes when a job finishes late it's not possible to do a walk around that day and in this case a walk around will be done the next day if possible "In this case the painting would not be considered a finish product until we finish the touch up list. Remember projects that are finished in 1 day start at 8am and we are cleaning and picking up till 8pm. That 12 hours with 7 painters. 12 x 7= 84 hours It would take a normal painting company with 2 painters "that's how many painters they usually have" 5 and a half days to complete the same amount of hours and that still doesn't mean they would be finished. 8 hours per day x 2 painters= 16 hours per day 16 x 5.25 = 84 hours

Description of Work: I would definitely use this company again. They did an excellent job painting my home. Details: I hired them to paint my cathedral ceiling in my kitchen, it was difficult to access because of wood beams and a ceiling fan, as well as a storage area above a wood stove that had to be painted out as well. Derek came out to look at the job ( I had hired them of eight hours) and told me that they could do the ceiling and additional work in that time frame. So I had them also paint my living/dining room ceiling as well as my stairwell ceilings (2). When the worker finished these ceilings there was still time so he ended up painting my upper hallway ceiling too! I've never had a painting company that worked fast and efficiently and showed up promptly as well. I'm much more used to slow, less than competent workers stretching out jobs. It was a pleasure to have Schmidt Painting work on my home, and I would definitely use them again.

Thanks and yes for these specials we send the same painters that do all our high end painting also. They are told to work on these jobs at the same speed and skill they always do. Every client matters to us. Doesn't matter if you payed us $249 or $15000 everyone receives the same level of service.

Thanks sorry the crew ran a little late they got tied up on another job. Some times a job that starts before yours takes much longer than expected and that creates a back up on the next job. When ever possible when we are working on summer homes we like to have access to the house so no one is waiting on us and it allows us to go to the house if it suddenly start raining in the middle of the day on us. This actually gets the interiors we that have a flex schedule done much quicker than one that has a scheduled time and day. Over 50% of the houses we paint are for Angie's List clients that we never meet start to finish. We usually receive a call 3 months later telling us how great the job looks. The point is people trust our company to be inside their homes even when they have actually never met me face to face. My employees have been with the company for 3 years or longer. I think our rep speaks for it self.

Description of Work: Derrick was great as was his team. |We had a particularly rough time getting started because of another vendor who was doing a siding project. |Derrick was very patient, and when they were finally able to start, he had his people there and they did a wonderful job. |The house looks great and everything was cleaned up nicely. |I would recommend Schmidt Painting very highly.

Sorry about the mix up on the date. No secretary at this company it's just me doing alot of paper work everyday and occasionally an appointment date will get mixed up. The problem is now being address by a new program I had made for our company and should be in service in the next 2 weeks. Description of Work: The team painted the entire interior of my home; nine rooms and 3 baths. The job was completed very quickly and very neatly. I am impressed by this local company's attitude towards the quality of work provided and respect for the customers' needs. |Derrick was super helpful with color choices. Thanks for the review. Your home was a challenge with colors as you wanted to use blue in almost every room. With blue it's important to stay away from blues without any other hues in them so they don't end up looking like a baby boys room. With the result we produced you can see we kept the colors from going to the baby blues and yet they still flow very effortlessly from room to room. Hope you enjoy for many years to come your newly renovated home.
