I believe Derrick and his team did an excellent job. He power washed, sanded and repaired surfaces before painting.

it went great, the team showed up as scheduled and were a very organized group. We did a walk around to go over the needed wood repairs. Ladders up and the team started working. Work done and a walk around found a few spots that were attended to immediately. Few days later some other spots noted and a worker came over to fix those. Just a week ago some friends commented on how bright and new our house looked. We were very pleased for the quick but high quality job provided. Would definitely use this contractor again.

Derrick, his wife and their crew are amazing. Professional. High Quality workmanship. Delightful to deal with. They cared about customer satisfaction right from the beginning, when answering every email of my dumb questions, and showing up on time. They also even provided a list of paint suggestions to get us started on this whole-home paint project. The quality of their work is exceptional. They painted three bedrooms, stairwell, two bathrooms, dining/living room, kitchen and a great room with 13 foot ceilings. And they did it all in two (long) days, just as Derrick had predicted. We have only exceptional compliments to pay this crew, and we would hire again in a heartbeat! You should, too.

We hired Schmidt Painting for our newly finished basement. Although we initially had a number of minor disappointments with the job, Derrick was quick to address our issues and make us right upon learning of our experience. He clearly cares about his customer’s satisfaction and reputation in the community, which is refreshing to see. When all was said and done, our basement is beautiful and at a reasonable cost.

They did a great job. Attention to detail was great. They removed all the old picture nails and filled them in seamlessly. The lines were very neat and accurate. The final product Looked great. Would definitely recommend them.

Outstanding quality and attention to detail. Came when they were scheduled, worked long hours to complete the jobs. Came back the next day to touch up where needed. Removed window coverings and blinds, replaced them all when dine. Filled cracks and nail holes before painting. I would absolutely hire them again for any painting job. Not the cheapest, but very high quality and service.

Derrick's team prepped and painted my large wooden deck and railings. They also water sealed my brick stairs. They showed up when promised, did a great job and cleaned up thoroughly when done. They were also the lowest cost of estimates that I received from 3 different painters.

We were so incredibly pleased by the quality and professionalism of the folks at Schmidt Painting. Right from the very start I was impressed by how promptly Derrick Schmidt responded to my initial inquiry (under 24 hours, and while he was away on vacation), and followed up with an estimate (which was extremely reasonable). The crew members were professional and friendly, and extremely conscientious when it came to covering plantings, cleaning up at the end of each day of the job, etc. Notably Derrick and his wife were on site every day woking on the job. The other thing I really appreciated was how Derrick clearly explained HOW the job would be done - choice of paint, issues with wood that needed to be repaired, etc. We couldn’t have been happier with how the job turned out. The quality of the work was outstanding and our house looks beautiful! It was not a straightforward project (we live in a refurbished barn with lots of windows and a high copula), and every little detail was attended to expertly. We recommend this company highly and would use them again in a second.

The doors, windows and trim are now white and look brand new. Walls and ceiling look perfect. They also did a great job whitewashing the chimney brick. Any slight imperfections that we found, Derrick scheduled his men to come back and take care of touch ups. We could not be happier with the quality work and professionalism of Schmidt Painting.

We needed touch up painting for the exterior siding, shutters and trim on a large house in Wellfleet and the exterior trim on an art gallery next door. The timing of the work was important as the house is a seasonal rental and we had guests that were scheduled to arrive soon after the work was scheduled. Derrick and his crew did a great job and completed the work in the time agreed upon. I would happily use them again and definitely recommend Schmidt Painting.

Painters were exceptionally neat and the trim looked perfect! I had Schmidt painting do work for me several years ago and have hired them to do exterior painting for me now. I would highly recommend them for any painting job!

In flurry of activity around buying a house, we didn't realize how badly it needed an interior paint job until we saw it empty -- just a few days before the moving truck was due. I'd used Schmidt Painting for several jobs before-- both interior and exterior -- and had been impressed with Derrick's responsiveness and professionalism. I gave him a call, explained the situation, and within 24 hours his crew was on the job. They were quick and professional, and the quality of the work was excellent. Under the circumstances, he could have charged a premium, but the price was fair and reasonable. Altogether, a first rate experience.

Painters were very professional and knew how to prep correctly before painting. They came on time and did a great job! They even stayed late to finish on time and their cleanup was excellent. I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting a terrific job done.

From the very first meeting with Derrick I was impressed by the knowledge and professionalism shown. I felt very assured by him that the job would be done the best it could be. The quote was fairly similar to other quotes but he also told me we needed our roof worked on, which no one else even mentioned and that was included in the quote. Every time I needed to contact him he was prompt to reply. Once the job began it was done in the time we were told unlike many I had heard about who don't show up or start a job and don't finish it, etc. On the days they all came all the people worked incessantly and professionally. The overall job was done expertly. Lastly, every time I look across the street at the house all done I am so happy as to what I see. It looks like a new house. I can't say enough how glad I am that I chose this business. I would highly recommend them.
