The experience I had with PLJ was excelent! They started the job ontime within a week after I signed the contract. As a retired quality engineer, I looked closely at the details of the job in various phases. And I can say the quality of the workmanship was great! The job was done ahead of schedule because the crew worked a long day. The crew was also friendlly and courteous. The cleanup after the job was nothing short of meticulous. I would highly recommend PLJ for carpentry work!

We had a new roof put on our house about 5 years ago. After about a year, there was a leak in the bathroom area downstairs. Could not get original company to come back for repair. We called various roofing companies and NO ONE could fix the problem until we called Roberto from PLJ . After spending so much money for stop gap measures, he told us that if there was damage to the wood below, no amount of asphalt shingles would fix it. He showed up exactly when he said that he would, gave a fair estimate and finally, FIXED OUR ROOF! They were fast and efficient and even stayed after dark to finish the job! Unlike anything that I’ve ever encountered prior. One company left us with plastic all winter and took off! Roberto was correct, there were actual holes in the roof under the shingles!

Would not hire again. Poor communication and workmanship. 1-2 day repair took 9 days after I had to contact the owner. See my google review for pics and a more thorough recap. Work had been done unsafe, damage was caused to my central AC system, and scrap had been dumped behind my property instead of removed. Unpleasant from beginning to end.
