Ideal Floor Covering - Hyannis - Falmouth

The carpeting looks fine, but the workers destroyed my closet organization system in the process. They came back the next morning while my husband was home and never mentioned it. Do we not deserve at least an apology?

All went smoothy. Installation was done exactly as promised. We are pleased with the end result.

What the sales rep failed to explain was that tiling is a 2 day job; first day is lay the tiles and the second day grout- making this a 3 day job. We soon realized we would be without bathroom facilities overnight! What was distressing is that the installers did not show up on day 3 to grout. After several phone calls back and forth we finally got them back to the house so that the toilets could be reinstalled. As a result, the grout job in the second bathroom was sloppily put down (grout was splattered on the walls and baseboards etc). We paid extra to have them move the washer and dryer out/in of the laundry closet and they didn't put them back! After complaining I got a small reduction in my bill ---but NEVER an apology. I won't do business with this company again nor would I recommend them. Once the job started the communication was TERRIBLE!

Outstanding experience. Mark was a pleasure to work with. Very reachable and is always on top of his communication - quickly responded to all my emails throughout the job. I was replacing flooring from a job poorly done by someone who wasn't a flooring expert. Mark was very patient, friendly and helpful. Scheduled appointments quickly. Crew of 4-5 people showed up on time. Worked fast and clearly knew what they were doing. Wood seems to be of good quality from what I can tell. There were a couple of minor mix ups and Mark cheerfully sent his crew back on 2 days (and scheduled these really quickly as well) and they finished up. Crew went above and beyond and even improved upon some work the previous contractor had done in another area so that it would match better with the area they were working on. Would absolutely hire again.

The installers were very friendly, careful & professional. They started on time & got to work right away once they were set up with all materials. I was very happy with how the back-splash came out, it made the kitchen come together as a cohesive design.

The people at Ideal Floors are just wonderful they make it so easy, Sabrina is so knowledgable, and very patient, she stayed with us for a couple hours because we were could not decide on the patterns, and color we wanted. The installing team were great my floors look fantastic . I would use them again without question and recommend that anyone needing flooring to go to them you will be very happy.

Ideal floor has provided all the flooring to my construction company for over 25 years. With the largest new construction comunity on Cape Cod (South Port 55 plus development) Ideal floor is always the reason we make a closing date, never the reason we don't. Not only do they get it done quickly and eficiantly, the workmanship is top notch, and always working well with the other Subs on the projects. We recomend Ideal to all our clients..

Fantastic! I was not sure what I was looking for but Jake was very helpful in picking out what would work best for my area. I will definitely be back and would recommend this company to any one who is starting a new project in there home.

The rip up and installation went without a hitch. All the installers were very friendly and professional. They worked very hard to get the project done in two days prior to my aunt coming into town. Oh boy was she surprised. I worked with Jennifer Quigley & from start to finish she was very professional, charming and very knowledgeable of all the products the showroom had to Offer.

My rug looks beautiful, the installer did a beautiful job. He moved all of the furniture back and also vacuumed.

Poorly - lots of quality issues per multiple other professionals including my general contractor - they refused to fix. Owner threatened me to complain about ME to my boss and have me fired for complaining (rural area where everyone knows each other). He even made me post a positive review to make up for what he said I did wrong. His salesperson, was great and tried to help, but owner was terrible.

They arrived on time, worked diligently to remove all the furnishings, removed the old carpet and padding, put down new carpet and padding throughout and put all the furniture back in its proper place. They stayed until it was complete and left the condo in immaculate condition. I would highly recommend Ideal Floor Covering for any service they provide. They were highly professional and competent.

From the minute I stepped into the showroom I was over whelmed with all the choices for flooring and i was also intimated by it all. Within minutes of speaking with Sabrina she made me feel at ease and was able to guide me in the right direction. Sabrina was also cery patient with me and never made me feel rushed into making a decision. After what seemed like taking over 20 samples back to the house I went with Sabrina and Mark's suggestion and picked a beautiful hickory wood! The installation was scheduled in a timely manner. When the installers arrived they got right to work and did, what i think, is the most beautiful installation I have ever seen! They worked in a professional manner and were complete before scheduled! I absolutely LOVE my floors. Mark and Sabrina were so helpful and even took the time to follow up after when the work was complete! I uave have had numerous compliments on the floor and even one friend wants the same hard wood floor for their home. I was so thrilled eith Ideal Floor Covering that I am having them do new tile floor for me next!

It went amazing!! I have had flooring, and tiling installed by another company and Ideal Floors is by far and away the best to deal with. Truly from the start to the finish by Bryan and Ralph (they are craftsmen make sure you hang on to those guys) did a beautiful job we could not be happier..I will recommend that anyone buying Flooring should go to them.

Went to the Falmouth location checking on flooring that would be good for dogs. Mark woods,owner directed us to the new pet proof,wood look vinyl cortec. Gave us an estimated cost which seemed ok. We told him we were shopping around and he encouraged us. We decided they would be the best because of professionalism. Went back and Sabrina was our sales person. Brought samples home and decided on a color. Sabrina came out and measured. We put the order in with a $1500 deposit. Waited the 2 weeks and called to see if it arrived. Sabrina said she will check and call back. Wish she called us but it is what it is. She arranged for installation giving us approximately 9::00 a.m. The night before Jeff called and said they would be here at 8::00 a.m. They came at 10:00 a.m. It was pouring rain but Alex the installer who was awesome was all set to go. Sabrina came out to check everything out. The carpet and padding was removed. Sabrina and Alex then told us the manufacturer delivered the wrong color. Omg this was not good. Sabrina immediately called her warehouse hope it was there mistake but no. I asked her to have mark call us. He did and what he dis was to install the wrong floor so we would have a floor,! The new flooring came in and Alex installed and we love it. Alex, Sabrina and mark were great!

Amazing work! Jen and the Ideal Floor team were responsive, professional and did fantastic work. They were able to work around various other crews in the house and the floors look incredible. We were able to schedule the demo in advance, and with short notice. Then the flooring was right on schedule and looked amazing. Clean up was superb.

Ideal Floor Covering did an outstanding job in our new home. So much so, we recently invited them to return to replace carpeting in the guest suite of the same house. They have been very professional and accomodating to work with, do excellent quality work and return if the customer is not fully satisfied. I found these guys using Angie's List, have no affiliation with the business personally or professionally, but am taking the time to write a review so that other potential customers can benefit from their great service.

The owner of the company showed me on Friday the final wood samples that will be used. I was pleased with the samples so I told him that I want to book the job, I requested all the paper work needed and was ready to make the down payment of $5,000. He called me unsuccessfully on Saturday, I called him right after and could not find him, I sent him two emails requesting the paper work to formalize and start the job as soon as possible, I did not hear from him at all that weekend, since he called me on Saturday I was expecting a response over the weekend. Finally on Monday he finally calls me to say that he can't honor the price that he had already agreed upon and increased the price $1600, basically 16% increase. He could have told me since the very beginning that he could not honor the price and it would have been a different story, I may have accepted the new quote if he had been honest since the beginning. He just wasted my time. If you work with this company please make sure that he puts everything on writing, he will call you to agree upon things and he will later take them back. I don't recommend this company and would not work with them in the future.

Ideal did a great job. The folks in store were very helpful and patient. They knew their products and made recommendations based on my needs. Installation went well. I intend to do some more work in the near future, and would definitely use them again.

A local Catholic school needed carpeting in two classrooms and since I don't do carpet I made a call to some one I knew did do carpet hoping for a fair price and more importantly get it done before school opens. I contacted Mark Woods the owner of Ideal Flooring in Falmouth, MA and asked him for an estimate. Upon finding out the scope of the work (two Classrooms) Mark scheduled the work and didn't want to talk about price he simply said You said the school could use some help and we are going to help. The crew showed up the Thursday before Labor day and did the job I went by met with the Professional crew that was certainly doing a great job. I was only to happy to see this happening here the class rooms, It looked amazing with their new Blue Carpet. I once again called Mark of Ideal Flooring for the balance due and Mark once again said "The school needed help and I'm glad we were able to help out." Now it may be easy to write a review like this but let me tell you from experience not everyone will stop what they are doing during their busy season (yes Summer particularly August is a busy time in flooring as people are trying to get in their new homes before School starts Aug is a crazy month for construction) and like I said Ideal Flooring for just a day put that busy schedule on hold to help out a school in need "Marian Catholic High School" in Framingham, will be forever Grateful for their help. If your on Cape Cod and in need of flooring, I suggest you give Ideal flooring in Falmouth or Hyannis a call. Hire a company that cares about Community it's a great indicator that they care about you Too!
