I've been very pleased with Home Depots service desk personnel and the specialists in specific departments. I can always find someone that knows his or her stuff. It may not always be the first person I talk to, but they're always able to direct me to the right person. For example, in their Appliance Department I always speak with Tom or Dan, and in their Plumbing Department I always speak with Steve. As an example, we had a new gas range we purchased from them. They set up delivery and installation and everything went smoothly. Frank, who installed the doors did a great job. He was very knowledgeable and professional. He had to make some adjustments to the framing around the door which he was able to do with care. He was able to get the work done quickly and we haven't had any issues.

They gave us the best price and two years free financing. I would give them an "F" with regards to an original quote we got. We were originally told we could use the two years free financing and then when we went to sign the paperwork, they stated they didn't offer that. They said this on four different occasions. I came home and happened to find a flyer in my mailbox advertising the free financing and all you had to was mention it. The Manager lied to me directly and I confronted him about it and he didn't know what to say except that I was right. As far as the person who did the design's professionalism, I would give an "A." However with this financing problem, I would drop that part down to an "F."

It is a disaster. We have had no doors on our cabinets since March of 2013 and Home Depot will not return our calls. The American Woodmark rep who has never seen the cabinets is telling us that that is how they are supposed to look. I have spent over $2,000 and my kitchen is a disaster. I have turned it over to an attorney.

The new cabinets are great. Delivery was in less than 30 days. Everything fit perfectly - we're really pleased. The countertop arrives later this week but so far the service has been very good. UPDATE - The countertop arrived last week right on schedule and came out great. The installation crew from International Stone (Home Depot's Contractor) did a great job installing the countertop and making sure that our stove and dishwasher fit correctly. All in all I'd rate our Kitchen Renovation Project with Home Depot in Hyannis A+. Every little detail came out just right and our new kitchen looks great.

They actually use contractors who work for the GAF shingle company to do the install instead of hiring local sub-contractors. They are putting up timberline high definition shingles. They are architectural singles and they have to remove the old roof before they can do the install of the new roof. They spent seven hours while they got an accurate estimate for our home. They took a GPS global satellite photo along with two other methods to get the total accurate measurements. They found there was never a ridge vent properly installed in the attic. It was covered up and the air was not properly coming out. The screened vents were not installed in the soffit. They are going to repair this so that that the ridge vent is properly working. They offer a 25 year warranty on the labor and a lifetime warranty on the shingles. If we were to sell the house, the warranty is transferrable to the next owner. They even have a special promotion that if you spend over 20k, they take 3k off. We also hired them to install two sliding glass doors. With this discount, it is like getting the doors at no cost. They are going to be doing the work for us within the next month.
