+ -1 moreTerrible! Took over seven weeks and the Geek Squad staff and their computer repair tracking system were useless. Lots of delays, lack of information, misrepresentations, and overall unprofessional service. Everyone "escalates" the repair orders, but no one can get anything done, or even know when things will get done. Communications from Geek Squad was non-existent; no calls or emails, no information available on-line, and no updates from any staff. Staff at the store had no information about what was going on with the repair at the service center or communications from Lenovo, or when the hard drive data transfer would be finished. Everyone was doing their own thing and no one had any answers.
Description of Work: Replace a defective power source on a desktop computer that was approximately four months old. After a lengthy delay, Lenovo decided to replace the computer. Took another four weeks for Geek Squad to retrieve data on original hard drive and load this on the new computer.

+ 0 moreEveryone I dealt with on both the retail ordering side and service side were first rate. I haven't had any problems with anything I have purchased from Best Buy. The worst issue was that it took a few weeks to install the equipment because you need to schedule in advance since they are so busy but once you're on their delivery schedule, they are excellent.
Description of Work: I purchased both equipment and technical service (Geek Squad) from Best Buy; they delivered both my new televison sets with ease and later hooked up my surround sound theater with one of the TV sets. The cost was affordable and service was excellent!
